This review is for the AAA service vehicle that was sent out for me on two recent occasions. Both times Alfred came very quickly and kept me informed by phone of his arrival. The first time I locked my keys in my vehicle. Alfred very quickly and professionally got my door safely unlocked and my keys retrieved. Just a few days later I had the misfortune to have my car fail to start while at the beach. Again, via AAA, Alfred responded, diagnosed that my battery was bad which I could see. He also had the battery available, so he jumped my car so we could return to the hotel. There he replaced the battery and I was able to pay with my credit card. The battery has a 6 year warranty so I'm hoping for the best. Both times Alfred was professional, knowledgeable, quick and resolved my problem. Now in fairness I did not need service from the service center where others seem to have had problems, and I am giving 4 stars only because my use of the services was limited to roadside assistance through AAA. Never the less I was very relieved that a knowledgeable technician responded both times. read more

Needed emergency tow and AAA suggested them. Never again. Left us wondering for hours what was going on. We had to pay, and pay and pay. Locals told us not to use them, but it was to late. Diagnosed a bad alternator, and it was fuel pump. And they are all rude! Beware!! Be forewarned. AAA should remove them from providers list. read more

My headlights stopped functioning while I was vacationing in Cape May. I contacted AAA and Riggins came to the rescue. Unfortunately, Riggins did not have the necessary parts to fix the problem, consequently I did not have access to my vehicle for 4 days. The parts were eventually obtained and I got the car back fixed. But I missed out on many of my vacation plans. Riggins did provide good service however. read more

I handed the worker 30 dollars for gas. I told him keep 2 dollars for a tip. About 2 miles down the road I notice my gas light was still on empty. Drove back told them they didn't give me gas manager said ( you gas gage is broken) my van is a 2023 with 2000 miles on it. He called me names and refused to fill my tank had to call state police. Do not go there! Sad I bet this happens all the time I was lucky to notice it and take action. read more

Why settle for bad service and rude managers when there a better options close by? Guy filled up my car with the wrong fuel. Manager told me "I don't know what you want me to do about it. Sometimes shit happens when you're a consumer." They give poor service and then curse at you when you ask about it. Shell station across the bridge is better. Exit Zero gas station is better. Nearby Wawa gas station is better. Avoid this place! read more

Far and away the worst repair shop I ever dealt with in my life. They had my car for 2 weeks while the mechanic (I use that term loosely) kept replacing parts I didn't need. Finally, Barney (I believe the owner) used the diagnostic testing device and was able to determine the problem right away. Had this been done in the beginning I could have had my car back in a couple of days saved nearly $1000 dollars. Instead, I had to rent a car while my car sat at the shop waiting for parts. It eventually cost me $850 for car rental and $850 for repair service. I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH...DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There's another service station called Cape Harbor Shell 609-898-0855. I went there couple of times for Rent-A-Car and fixed my car and get gas, every and each time I got trouble from owner his name is Barney! He's always rude at the people and he saying a lot of bad words to employers and customers! He doesn't have any patience for do something for customers! I felt like he wanted to hit me! If I didn't have any patient he would try to turn it fight physically! When I try to understand how much money I'm going to pay and for what he's always yelling and saying a lot of bad words! It doesn't matter how kind you are or what age you are! He is racist! And doesn't respect people! He is working from 9.00am To 4am but on the yelp or map says 8.00am-6pm.. You never can get help after or before what times he wants to work except gas.. Btw gas more expensive than other gas station which is 200 feet away! read more

I have used the shop maybe 7-9 Times. His gas is about average in cost or slightly higher than average. His service is the best I have found in the area. Cost of service seems to be slightly above normal but Barney and his team are very good, and everyone knows they are good, and they dump their cars on Barney... (often Busy) As for costs, Barney gets slammed with work much of the time. So I will pay someone for good work performed especially as I have found them to be above reproach in honesty. I have not found him to be disrespectful but I have found him to be very busy at times, which may explain some of the customers comments about him being short with them... To avoid long waits, bring Car in early in the morning and leave it if all possible. Barney knows his stuff when it comes to oddball issues with your Car especially, so if you have a problem Child, bring it to him to fix it, he won't let you down. read more

On Friday 10-8 (our 1st full day of vacation) our car broke down on our way to Cape May from Wildwood Crest. We called our roadside service and they were able to connect us with a tow truck to come and get our car. It just so happened to be from Riggins. The tow driver was kind in letting us catch a ride back to the garage with him. We were afraid we would have to walk, so glad for that. When we arrived it was around noon and they said they would try to take a look at it before the end of the day. We grabbed an Uber back to our hotel and started to research rental cars etc. At about 10 till 5 (closing until Monday) we still hadn't heard from them, so my husband called. They did not have a chance to look at the car but hoped to get to it on Monday. We were STRESSED! We were scheduled to go home on Sunday, our hotel closed for the season on Monday, there were no rental cars available anywhere close to us, and we were stuck. The guys at the garage were just matter of fact and were not compassionate for our situation at all. No suggestions for what we could do what have other people in our situation done?. We ended up paying a friend to come pick us up on Sunday (5 hours away) and on Monday we heard that the issue was the timing belt broke. From this we knew the car was done for. We knew there would be a charge, but what we didn't know was that they would not take credit card payment over the phone. How in the world is that even possible? They also made no suggestions of how we could get payment to them. They said they would junk the car for us, but again, no suggestions on how to get the title to them. After some searching I found a junk guy in the area and arranged for him to get the car, and pay the bill for us. They then threatened to charge us more if the guy didn't get there to take the car before closing. So, I am not rating them on their service. I take their word that the car was done for, but I do rate them on their customer care and service. Because of this I would not use this business again. read more

My car broke down on the West Cape May bridge last week while it was super foggy and raining cats and dogs! Not a safe place to be. These guys came out and towed my car back to their shop in minutes! They got there BEFORE the police got there! I am very impressed with their customer service!! After they towed it they went above and beyond to get my car looked at and keep me informed! These guys are courteous, professional and the best! I highly recommend them! read more

My truck broke down and was towed here by AAA. They told me it was my transmission and it would cost $4,700. My truck was old and it's not even worth that. They suggested I sell the motor and scrap the car. I had it towed to a diesel garage 15 minutes away to get a second opinion. They called me and told me it my transmission was fine. A chain had slipped off, they put the chain back on and immediately was able to put it into gear and drove it all around town. The total fix of a chain replacement and a few other things was under $500. DO NOT TRUST THIS GARAGE. I was so upset about this, I am planning on calling the better business bureau. read more

I had my son's car towed to Riggins as recommended by their driver claiming they had mechanics in duty on both Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday afternoon I finally called and asked about the car- nothing was done and they had t even looked at it!! We are in vacation and can't wait several days for a mechanic to look st it. I called again on Monday morning still nothing! The mechanic should have Said we are too busy to look or work on it . I called another tow company (not giving them any more money) to bring it to a highly recommended local garage. I was charged $93.00 to look at the car which I don't even believe they did. Horrible customer service, rude mechanic and driver lied about them being able to work on the car just to get them business ..DO NOT WASTe YOUR TIME OR MONEY. read more

We stopped by here yesterday because we had a possible flat & wanted a professional to take a look. The mechanic was very unhelpful. Understand he has a broken wrist, but unsure why he refused to take a look since he was in the garage. We ended up going to Mr. Tire in Rio Grande to get the tire patched. I fill gas cans to fill my boat. During the Summer the young adults from Romania man the pumps and they are always efficient and very courteous. During the Fall the attendant is a young man who is also efficient and always strike up a friendly conversation. Never had an issue at the pumps and I will continue to go there as long as I have a boat. read more

This place makes banging burger and fries, their food is well seasoned they make it in a rusty grill they got in the back, the food is always a little musty and the soda machine never works, all and all owner smells like musty cheese 10/10 would recomend also they fix cars in the kitchen. read more

Received a free oil change coupon in the mail so I brought hubby's car here. It's a small shop inside a gas station. The waiting area had a couple of seats inside. The owner, Barney, is very nice and inviting. The oil change took about 30-45 mins. Friendly service. They also have Uhaul trucks for rent or a place for you to drop them off. read more

A+ service.....so after my long trek down to the villas from bucks county pa...I was so ready to relax and enjoy the weekend off from work..well I got settled in and wanted to run back out for some food...my truck wouldn't start..so after about an hour of playing around with it with my uncle and father...we called triple a...Riggins in cape May was dispatched..they are a one stop shop...tow service..service center..And even car rentals if you needed...well the rest of Saturday had went by and towards the end of the day I called to see if they had figured out something...they said they hadn't..they were baffled..but would figure it out Sunday...they work weekends in the summer..which makes perfect sense since that's when everyone is down there....Sunday morning comes and I figure I'll just take a ride down there with my father and well see if they figured it out and if not rent a car cause I had work Monday in Philadelphia...well the funniest thing happened...they called when I was like 30 seconds away and said they fixed it...talk about making my day! I didn't have to rent a car..drive home in a rental..go to work...And drive back in a day or two..What a pain in the ass that would have been... when I walked in...the two guys behind the counter were polite...smiling.... And very informative as to what had happened and the bill was extremely reasonable...these guys rock and totally made my day! read more
