Location wise it was a little far from the boardwalk. We came here only because we went to Escape May escape rooms and kids were hungry . Lots of parking available .. enough room inside to sit and eat .. there Were 2 systems to place orders and it was quick . Service was good when we went , but it was empty and no customers when we went. We really liked the new fiery menu . The new chicken French fries was innovative and tasted good . This place is absolutely disgusting, deplorable, and trashed. The employees are rude, slow, and do not care about their jobs. I went to pick up a DoorDash order, and I sat there for approximately 15 minutes while the employees discussed their future plans with each other rather than doing their work. It seems that every time we get a Burger King Impossible Whopper (my daughter's guilty pleasure) there is an issue. On this particular attempt to order from the BK app on "Whopper Wednesday" it was another conundrum. I opened the mobile app and selected the Whopper Wednesday special and added a few other items to the cart. I selected a nearby location to pick up the order only instead of the place order button appeared a "check availability" button in its place. So I clicked that button and it emptied my cart! So I tried again a few times and after losing my patience I tried another restaurant location about 20 minutes away. Well that seemed to do the trick because it accepted my order and charged my Apple Pay. So off on a 20 minute drive to pickup my order. When I arrived at the Mount Holly, NJ location the restaurant was dark. No lights on at all. I pulled up to the drive thru to see a sign that stated the location was closed due to maintenance! After several emails to BK they finally refunded my order and I went home an hour later with no food. Unfortunately, this was not just a one off mishap with BK as it seems there is always some type of problem such as arriving to pick up the burger and it's out of stock, a restaurant closed early, or the order is wrong. read more

Despite renovating every so often, the Burger King in Rio Grande NJ is one of the worst with food quality and customer service. I don't think I've ever gotten hot food here and it's usually not even warm. Cold, chewy chicken, cold fries. It's just not good. And rarely do the employees care about what they're doing and they are always short staffed - not just in recent years, it's an excuse they've been using for 20 years at this point. read more

I go out of my way to get BK in Dover DE 14 miles away I am only 3 miles away from BK in Smyrna! I really like BK burgers when they are made the right way! I am not a frequent patron of "BK" but do try 'em out on occasion. A friend of mine wanted to go there and I obliged... He had a bunch of 'standard' paper coupons which really didn't have anything enticing for me to take advantage of. I decided to try the BK app and saw a good deal for $3 off a $10 order - which had to be placed via a mobile order. A bit of a ha$$le but I went and did the deed as required per the coupon and went to get my order. Much to my chagrin, there was no $3 discount on my order. I inquired about the oversight to the manager{?}and was told that it was out of their jurisdiction and nothing could be done on their level, which was 'backed up' by a second worker. No, I disagree... In the spirit of decent customer service, something could have been be done such as offering a token of compensation for the discrepancy, which never happened. I deliberately made my order over $10 in order to get the $3 discount via the app, which WAS done correctly on my end, but to no avail. Rather than just cancel the whole order, I begrudgingly took it as is. But this is something I won't tolerate again and will likely message BK directly about. I am giving 2 stars only because the Fish Sandwich was decent - But the rest of the meal was mediocre at best. read more

They never have the specials that you see on commercials or the new items. When asking about this the staff is not very helpful and some are just rude . I prefer burger King over McDonald's but think it's to to switch to McDonald's. read more

If I could rate this as a negative 10 I would. Today upon sitting in the drive-thru I heard the Manager screaming at her employees. Screaming profanities and being downright disrespectful. This is not the first time this manager has done this. I overheard her making threats to this poor woman. It is absolutely utterly disgusting and that manager should be ashamed of herself. Definitely a mid tier Burger King. The soda in the machine was flat and orders took a little bit despite there being nobody inside. The ice in the machine was also not working. However, the food was great and the tables and restrooms were kept very clean. Employees were very nice and understanding of everything. read more

when my whole family & friends eat there Aug 6, 2015, I forgot my swimming suite&a cover top on the chair, after i back to home, (4 hours drive) , I called and they found it. I appreciate it. They said they can not do anything about it. SO I mailed a envelope with inside UPS prepaid empty plastic package on 8/15, and called manager, tell her, please when she receive my mail, just put my goods inside the bag, and give to UPS store or any ups truck. But till now , Sep. 4th, I still not receive it. And from UPS tracking website, they never drop to UPS yet. New King XL was a disappointment. Huge sandwich is about all it has going for it. This location is not the best example of a Burger King either. Just too slow in the winter and that should mean made to order or very close to it. Food always tastes and appears to have sat for too long. Going to try the King XL at the Marmora location. ......When the term: "Fast Food" comes to mind, I think just that-FAST food. I visited on an off-peak time (Friday, 9:30pm.) with THREE cars in front of me...... ......It took 23-minutes to get my food. ......I should note that the burger was hastily "assembled," with the unmelted cheese practically off the bun entirely.....Not acceptable! Had I not waited until the second coming for my food, I would've asked them to give me another sandwich-Made PROPERLY. .......So? I gave them: "Max's finale." Their last chance. I visited to grab lunch at 1pm-At the drive through, again! (Which is one lane, so if you're on lunch break and they take too long? You can't "escape."). There were five cars ahead of me-Thankfully, I hadn't entered the physical one-lane driveway yet...... .......14-minutes later, I hadn't even made it to the microphone to place my order. As a matter-of-fact? The line of cars hadn't even *moved.* I threw my car in reverse and got the hell out of there. ........I couldn't decide if this location was understaffed or just plain incompetent. You always have to wait a long time for your order, 95% of the time your order is missing key items or totally wrong, and the food is often cold, their staff is hardly attentive to customers...
