Update: I've been here a few times, and haven't had any issues with long lines. I've been able to get in and out quickly. But the deli needs to stop burning the Cheesy Tater Kegs. Last box I bought was so burnt, I had to toss it. Ever since then, I've been peeking through the holes in the box for a preview-- and I don't like what I see. It's like they're failing to consider that the tots continue to cook under the heat lamp. Or maybe their heat lamp is set too high. But this location and Yelm both have bad tots. Imagine thinking about cheesy tater tots all the way from the park, and then you get to Walmart and they're all burnt :( Other than that though, I've had pretty good experiences finding everything I need at this store. read more

I had a really sour experience that definitely knocked down 2 stars. I always use drive up first off and the attendants are amazing. But today I went inside the store and we used the self check out and the woman using the self check out was on a complete power trip. I get Walmart has a problem with theft. However, there is a time & place for being the self check out police and this was not one of them. My husband & I had a cart totaling 5 things. We walked up to the self check out scanners, I was as using one and he was using the one directly next to me. I paid for 2 of the items and he paid for 3 of the items. We used the scan guns since they were heavier items. Apparently the clerk thought we were trying to pull the wool over her eyes.. but instead of just watching us from afar do the transaction, she decided to come up directly to our cart and LEAN COMPLETELY ON our cart and question me about what items I had scanned & what items he was scanning. I told her that I was paying for the olive oil and the mop box and he was paying for the 3 extremely heavy diesel oil buckets. She said "mmm okay", and proceeded to pick up the olive oil & say "now is this avocado oil or olive oil"??? It was just a really weird experience and very off putting. I would like to shop and not be treated and questioned like I'm stealing. Honestly one of the reasons why I do drive up so I don't have to deal with the employees inside. read more

Absolutely terrible. Wife Checked car in for oil change at 350pm at 530pm when it was suppose to be done. I walked up to counter after waiting at the counter for 5 min. He walked up to my wife and said " oh we were about to call. And let you know that the oil filter we don't have let me know that the person at the counter shouldn't have checked oil filter. Well they didn't and couldn't change oil. I want a call back from the store manager. Because when I called they said they aren't in this week and they don't have a next in charge. Only department managers sorry been in retail management for over 20 years wrong answer . Keep up with this poor customer service and you will repeat the cycle of Kmart. read more

Yes, I was very impressed with this place considering I don't think we have a true "supercenter" in the islands. The sheer size of this place is incredible which obviously means that they have to have a wider selection of items at the cheapest prices around. All that is great and we definitely loaded up on a bunch of groceries and toiletry items for our 2-month stay in Seattle. But what pissed me off about my experience was the customer service. We went to the liquor aisle where all hards are locked in a case. There is a call button to press when you need service. We pressed it about 20 times, and waited for about 15 minutes (along with another customer) and no one came. One of my friends spoke with an employee who indicated that they would send someone, but again no one came. My other friend said we should've just broke in to the case to get some service LOL. So unprofessional and just made the whole experience irritating. read more

Overall the store is clean but the automotive department has horrible service. I've got an oil change twice, the second time hoping to be better then the first, but was disappointed, again. I usually have a good experience when I go to this store location because of their product selection and there are more friendly people at the self-checkout station. Today, I tried to do another return at the customer service center this morning, but couldn't return it because the receipt on my phone was from 4/28/23. I just passed the 90 days with it being 93 days. Write a letter to the Manager explaining that my paper receipt had been stolen and I was having phone issues with people stealing my phone and deleting my receipts on my phone. I was still able to find it since the Avia bra was purchased earlier than I had thought. So I still had my receipt, but was over the mark for 3 days even though I had mentioned that my paper receipt had been stolen. I was told to wait 2 times by two White American women while I was there after I was standing at the counter already. There were not 2 women helping the same lady who was at the counter standing next to me. The other one was just standing there. So I waited until the other customer service representative finished with her return for the same customer. There was no one standing in line behind me and there were three employees at the counter. Two of them mentioned that the time had passed so it was too late and that they couldn't override it. During Covid, they closed the fitting rooms down while I was trying to purchase a pair of specific pants for a new job uniform. So I purchased the pants anyway because I needed them for work and I couldn't find a black pair of pants that was affordable elsewhere. Unfortunately, they didn't fit me as they were too big and falling off of my hips that I still couldn't hold them up with a clip. I went back within the 30 days timeframe with my receipt and they said that they couldn't return it because no one is allowed to return clothes during Covid. I lost $12 while I didn't have much because I was waiting for my first paycheck to help me pay for my bills. The only other pair of pants I could find was $60 and I couldn't afford them. There was also another time when I was in the middle of a checkout at the self-checkout counter and I forgot my wallet in the car. When I got back, my cart full of products was put in the customer service center instead of where she placed it with a note that had my name on it. There were also additional products put inside the cart that I didn't have in there. I tried to explain to her that those items were not included and I also couldn't find the receipt for my transaction to continue finishing the purchase. She was dismissive with me so I had to wait in line again at the customer service counter and then have another representative help me ring it up again. There were crabby customers who were starting to make a fuss over me taking so long because there were not many representatives at the counter. These have been the three main issues I have had with this particular store over the past few years. Other than that, I have been receiving friendliness from other supervisors willing to help me find an item around the store or help me make corrections on my self-service counter screen. They've also offered assistance to put my products back that I had changed my mind on. For this instance, since I've already lost money beforehand due to no acceptance of a return or exchange, I really would like my money back for the $15.98 + tax bra that I had purchased that is brand new sitting inside of a plastic bag because it was a little too small and I need the next size up. read more

At 8:50 p.m. on February 5th I was bullied by three Associates two of which claim to be managers I was asked for my receipt well before I got to the door which I quickly showed because I actually wasn't leaving the store yet I was going to Subway I ordered a pretzel and upon leaving I now have three workers around me demanding I show the receipt again when I denied and start walking the other way cuz my car was parked on the other side of the store a worker grabbed all the items out of my cart I was Furious but really trying to keep a level head I tried to explain to them that I don't have to legally show a receipt I couldn't believe that I was getting robbed by a Walmart employee I did show the receipt to get my items back but really the whole situation was ridiculous and uncalled for read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I had a choice..listen we all know Walmart is what it is. No customer service and out of stuff half the time but its cheap so we keep going but this was the end of my so called relationship with them. I've ordered groceries to be delivered and had issues where items weren't delivered (and driver cared less), shopper didn't pick correct substitutions, and a delivery that went to the wrong house, so I went back to pickup. This last order was the worst! These are items I received and then Walmart Chat Agent wouldn't refund all that I paid and couldn't care less about shorting me. Absolutely horrible service. I needed to replace a couple of tires on my commuting car. I arrived at 8:42am 3rd of march. Ilas I stood at the counter a representative came to the counter and said nothing, no good morning, how can I help you. I proceeded to say good morning and as for the front tires I was looking for. She did not bother to look them up simply said do you have an appointment. If you don't I cannot help. All three bays were empty not a single customer was being helped. She stated we have one appointment scheduled on about 10min I waited the 10 min nobody arrived. What happened to service? This is an hourly employees dream. No work or customers, kick back all those who don't have an appointment regardless if no one is in the bay getting worked done. What a shame read more

One thing, I've found is that Walmart Supercenters are pretty consistent across the board with the pros and con's in Washington. Pro's: - One-stop-shop: You're likely to get everything you need in one trip (food, clothes, auto, hardware, YOU NAME IT!!!! LOL ) - Most are open 24/7, 1 am Walmart run anyone?!?! Con's: Per usual - Out of 30 lanes normal between 1 - 3 are open ( if you're making a late-night run expect only 1 to be open) - Walmart just has a rep for rowdy customers, so steer clear of altercations, and bad children running around -Parking day or night seems to be a bit of a nightmare -The Walmarts in Washinton do not have gas stations, probably for the best though :( read more

I'm not sure to blame Walmart of Uber (or who delivers for Walmart). Every time we have an order delivered, the GPS they have to use, sends them around 4-5 miles away. They need to update their GPS or allow the drivers to use their own GPS programs. For the price that we have to pay for the month, it should have better service than we have right now. Trying to talk the person that orders from it all the time to quit ordering and cancel the service. Get things that we didn't order because they are substituting for something we don't want. Went there early this morning only to discover 3 male employees taking a 'break' by riding around in the assistance carts and then stopping near the entrance to have a smoke while on the carts and having a long obnoxious conversation with someone in a car. I am disappointed in Walmart! My dad came home from a long day of work and asked if my sister and I would like to go to Walmart for some groceries and decided to tag a long.. When we got there, my dad who was very excited to see DONUT peaches! Grabbed a handful and we resumed shopping for other snacks. When we waited over... 10 minutes in line... (it was already 10PM) ... my dad suddenly.. got surprised and told us that 8... donut peaches came out to be... 23 dollars?! How is that possible? Two walmart employees came and double checked and said it was right.... however.. my dad was ticked off.. and left... unsatisfied... When we were leaving.. he swore he saw the sign as $2 something PER LB! and I checked on the way out... and it was per LB...... he was right... and was super... angry.. This Walmart has a great selection and friendly staff. Easy to move around and find what you are looking for. The deli is clean and short lines to get what you need from the deli. Same with the bakery. The bakery staff is very knowledgeable. On most days the checkout lines are short and they continually add staff to keep lines minimal. read more

The night staff is garbage. Before going in I checked to see if they take Apple Pay, online it says they do so great I go in and get my one item. I go to pay and they do not take Apple Pay. Fine whatever, the issue is how the staff handled that. I said ok cool, and have them just a heads up that it says online they do. The lady comes at me and says "ok well use the website" lol. WalMart in Puyallup refused to accept my friend's American Samoan drivers license as proof of identification. As a result, they did not disburse the funds. What up with that? Went in to see if they were doing eye appointments and an exceptionally large woman seemed to be loitering in front of the subway as I walked by. I heard her say something about me and my "large ass purse" so I spun around and said I'm sorry did you say something to me? She said she works there and I shouldn't try to steal anything because she will catch me or something to that effect. I have never been so offended! Quarantine changes your life in so many ways. The staff at Walmart, and particularly the Pick Up area are wonderful! Came to get toilet paper 10 minutes before close, the lady locked the door in my face and ignored me when I tried to get her attention. The guy saw me and let me in, as I'm leaving she checks my receipt for toilet paper?? And I asked why? This is just about the restrooms, which are supposed to be handicapped accessible. I got to the men's door and couldn't get in, a lady came over and held the door. The spring is too strong. Leaving, the door was too strong but I finally wedged myself between the door and the frame and got out. Someone in management should get in a wheelchair and try to get in and out of the restroom so they understand that the restrooms aren't handicapped accessible if you can't even get in the door! read more

Came in to buy a board game for my cousin's kids. Wandered around and found that their beer selection is wanting, especially with other stores in the area with less real estate doing a much better job. My cousin's son found a game he wanted and it was listed for $20. Turns out the register reads it to be $30. After some discussions with a manager, it was finally resolved, but the hassle was an annoyance. The kid left happy, which is the important thing.
