I've seen other reviews on this we'll talk about expiration dates, which I think of as a suggestion. There's no way that a box of stuffing mix or other dried good is going to be expired by the time that that date rolls around. For some reason we were convinced that this place would be the size of a Goodwill, but when we entered, it was about the size of a 7-11. I know it sounds weird, but there was a sadness in this place. The people working had no joy and they appeared disappointed when we didn't buy anything. The prices here were exactly what you would expect to pay. My only and only issue with this place was selection. Had it been larger, I'm sure we would have found some treasure. I really like supporting places like this and they get extra points for having a house dog. Unfortunately, they just didn't have anything unique or collection to me.

She was all flustered and clumbsy and seem to get agitated over every single thing. We had some candles , spices, a comforter set, sheet set and clothing. She partially wraps the candles except one and got irritated when I asked that the third one be wrapped also because the spice jar is banging up against it and I didnt want anything to crack. Then I asked to be sure the security tag is removed and she said there is none and then of course it beeps at the door and then she gets upset that we had to go back to her to get it removed. TJ Maxx should really do some drug testing on the workers and havve training in customer service. The interactions with the workers plays a huge part on customers satisfaction as well as determining if we want to go back to that store to deal with rude people. Does the management care ?

There was so much to look at that I felt like I spent close to an hour or more here. Some things were reasonably priced, while others were a little higher. It really depends on what you plan on getting from here. I almost got a wok from there but decided against it because the one on sale was a little bit too heavy for me. If you are in the area and love kitchen things, I would suggest going to Shin Shin to check it out. It was fun for me, and I plan to take my mom there on our next trip to Seattle. It is a fairly large retail site that carried assorted housewares, some alcohol, restaurant gear, small appliances, bedding and linen, Korean hair & skincare products, and clothing. I was rather amused at the gigantic sizes of some bowls, woks, rice cookers, and cooking pots...literally could hold a toddler or two. As other Yelp posts have noted, they do have attentive store personnel that are at the ready should you have any questions. Unless you're a regular shopper, one will definitely be wandering and browsing every aisle since there are no overhead signage. After all that wandering, I did end up paying for a substantial back scratcher for The Homie and a floral print quilted vest for my mom. Both were reasonable and one was even on sale! Chalk it up to, you don't think you'll find anything in particular, but stop in Shin Shin for some momentary retail therapy.
