Deli Trays were a 10 out of 10 Ordered 3 different sandwich, fruit and veggies trays. They were huge, fresh and delicious. Couldn't have asked for more. Ready on time for pick up and the guests raved about them, pretzel roll sandwiches were the favorite. read more

Poor service at the hot food counter. Rude employees simply walk away without saying anything. I went in for 2 orders, she gave me the first and simply walked away before I could order the 2nd. Went to the other lady working the hot food counter and as she finished up with another customer and we made eye contact and she simply turned and walked away as well to take care of something in the back. I do not write Yelp reviews. This is my second ever and first in several years. I write only because I had no way to email the store directly. A couple days ago I had $110 worth of food ready to be paid for. There were several cashier stations but all were closed. The kind woman monitoring the self pay explained that the one cashier was on break. I know people need a break. The problem is that having a checker wasn't a priority---having someone cover the cashier while she breaks. If I didn't have extended family waiting on the food I would have left the cart and walked out. I do not use self check machines. This is why: --Generally they are a scourge of our society. Chiefly, they take needed jobs away from people. The Graham area is growing rapidly and not in a well-planned way. There are plenty of potential employees. --I don't want to do the check out work! I have loads of groceries. Your prices are high. You don't provide a discount for customers doing what has historically been your work. Seriously, what have we come to? Everyone just goes along with it though like good little sheep. I will not self check again there and if that's my only choice I'll go elsewhere. As should others. It's not okay. read more

Love the cashiers at this store so they get one star. Produce employees regularly drop produce on the floor out of the prepackaged containers and then put it back into the container after collecting it from the dirty floor. Management does nothing. Won't be buying any produce from here ever again. read more

Rude person working in the bakery, was on hold and transferred twice before getting the bakery & when she picked up she said 'you're gonna have to hold' not sure if they train people on phone manners but didn't appreciate the tone with the cost of things these days it's hard to even shop at Safeway. read more

Had great experience here. The staff is helpful despite the craziness happening! The night manager is very friendly, too! Wish tho they move the riding carts at night to the door that is opened. I hurt my ankle and was in a cast & crutches, my BF has to walk all the way yo the other end of the store to get a cart. This pharmacy is, by far, the worst pharmacy we've ever visited. The attitude from the workers is surly at best. If you happen to stand in the wrong line, they direct you to the back of the line, even though you only have a question or if you want to see what they have ready for you. If you try to talk to anyone, they again direct you to the back of the line. We have now transferred all our prescriptions to another pharmacy. This is a loss of five to six hundred dollars per month due to their lousy, care-less attitude. If they don't like their job, they need to go find a job in another line of business. I have shopped this store for 20 years. I used to love going here I love the meat department especially. . But in the last 2 years I have come face-to-face with shoplifters, blatant shoplifting, not even trying to be hide what they are doing. Both men and women taking things putting them in bags and walking straight out the door by what looks to be homeless people. On more than one occasion I have had a man follow me looking at my purse in the cart so I therefore took the purse put it over my neck and shoulder and in front of me and he finally walked away. I have been chased from the front door to my car by a homeless man. They are carousing the parking lot and I don't feel safe any longer shopping at the Graham Safeway store. Graham isn t alone in this. The stores need to protect their customers and hire security. We won t shop where we feel threatened. read more

Can't get the deli staff to slice lunch meat properly. First they avoid acknowledging that you are even there. Next they give a sigh when you place your order, finally they don't do it right. Rude. I can understand that working in a deli probably sucks but that shouldn't be my problem. Fire them all I say or at least a couple then perhaps the rest will do their job. The pharmacy at this location doesn't deserve even one star. I dropped my prescriptions on Friday about 3PM. They said the meds would be ready by 5pm on Friday. I went to pick them up on monday at around 3PM. They only had 3 of the 4 ready. I asked how long it would be if I waited. They said at least an hour. I needed to go to work so I couldn't wait. Their attitude was horrible and they just don't care about do their job. I would never use this poor excuse for a pharmacy again. Safeway in general has very poor customer service. read more

This store is going downhill. There has been an increase of homeless people hanging around at the store along with drug dealers standing around outside the store. It's getting scary to go in there after dark. Their staff is fairly friendly and helpful for the most part except for one that's on several occasions has been blatantly rude to women. The cashier 'Stacy' tends to flirt with all the men that go through her lines which is fine but then she is blatantly rude and disrespectful to elderly women and moms. I would have to say she has the worst customer service attitude I've seen. read more

I'm heading to canyon road Safeway now- in general I take no issues with this Safeway I just prefer Fred Meyers Costco or Tacoma boys for the basic reason that their quality matches their prices! Great place to stop and get supplies before headin' up the mountain (Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park). We picked up sandwiches, Kettle chips, bottled water, bug spray, coffee, and string cheese. Just returned from the Safeway in graham as a customer I don't know anything more irrigating to me then rude phone in their face young employees that seem to think I'm bothering them if I ask for something case in point as I entered the store with my cart I looked for the wipes to clean the cart handles the stand was there but empty 5 ft away was a safeway Male employee standing there as I've seen before he had a mask on and was texting on his phone he then pulled down his mask to tell his friend in produce hi replaced his mask and continued back to texting I then asked if they were out of wipes his answer was.i don't know I don't.even know where there at then went back to texting I continued in to the store and towards the meat case I then saw a man and woman looking at the service meat case they looked like management and I asked the woman if they were management she said yes I then told her about the rude and unhelpful employee and about the cart wipes she responded with a very uninterested tone and look that she eould look into it and went back to the meat case. As a 20 year grocery employee 10 with safeway I think you folks need to address this as cart wipes and public safety in these times are very important you talk as if this is very important but I don't see it in your employees or management of the graham safeway also as I left the store the young Male employee was still texting and the wipes hadn't been looked at read more

Will not be returning! Mary the pharmacist gave me half the rx written on the bottle. Then when I had gone back to get the other half I was accused of lying and was told on camera I was given the full rx. I asked if I could see the video and she declined. She then threatened to call the police if I did not return the half she had given me. This place is crazy! read more

I never had a problem with this Safeway until today, I came in today bought a couple things one of the items I bought they had a manufacture coupon for free bag of pretzels if I purchase spreadable cheese. As I'm wandering around the store with two young kids I get no help. So when I checked out I ask the clerk that I couldn't find the chips anywhere. And all she can do is tell me they don't have it. So I'm thinking why do they have a coupon for something they don't have anymore. You would think they would make it right for their customers, and credit me the chips or maybe offer there store brand chips whatever. I told her it's fine I didn't want them anymore. I can tell she was a little irritated but covering up trying to be nice. I check out and pay for my groceries with my debt card when I read not authorized. The "clerk" tells me I have insufficient funds. I know I have the correct funds in my account $$$, I told her no that can't be right, she spoke louder to me and said "you had insufficient funds which meant there wasn't enough money on your account. Are you kidding me? that was uncalled for. I might look young to you with two kids but I'm not I'm actually 25. Don't treat a person or a customer because if there age or looks. It's about customer service! Going above and beyond for your customers! I felt like if it was an older person or somebody that look older she would of treated them better. read more

This is the closest decent sized grocery store to where I live, so I shop here somewhat frequently. I love the people who staff the pharmacy. They are really great. And the cashiers are nice too. What isn't nice are the prices. Swift Premium Brown and Serve Sausages, for example, are nearly twice as much as I pay elsewhere. When I shop at Safeway I try to stick to sale items and emergency things. I now do my main shopping down the road in South Hill. There is a give and take with convenience, price, and service, but the prices here are getting just a little too high to put them near the top of my list of shopping choices. read more
