Okay I am a former retail of 10 years of the competition of this company prior 2000 First I want to give a compliment to the workers replenishing the shelves and those who zone and keep The shelves straight during this havoc time of the season. Okay here is some observations while shopping, saw a guy in a blue sweatshirt with his phone with a stop watch Timing each persons going through the doors near the butter area. Micro managing? Witnessing team leads being pushy and degrading to some workers because they aren't satisfied with what they see? This is not proper managing don't degrade or say things in front of customers we use to call this being on stage. It's the holidays and perfection insensitive is not needed. Customers are going to mess things up all you can do is Patchwork and make it look the best The new vest don't reflect the manor of the Team Leads if not on a phone they are huddled talking for a half Hour or more. I take my time when I shop. As for the coaches some are a little critical, get rid of the smug Face when a customer says hello. The workers that are shoppers with the carts they look so unhappy I understand they Are under a time crunch but you can't even ask them a question it's like they are told to ignore the customers? They why Where the vest I like to help? Most cashiers are friendly I have to say. But I have scan and go. Last weekend my wife and I were shopping and we know some Of the employees since we are loyal customers since it first opened and when it re opened due to unforeseen situation I won't Disclose. When we were talking to employees we knew a Hispanic employee can to our register and she hovered over our Basket with her phone. I don't know what her issues was we scanned all our items. And we were paying on line. She made me feel like we were being monitored for theft, WTH. Don't make customers feel that way.. I pay for the Walmart plus service. It's a service that I like very much. But to be micro checking is not a customer service. Yes I understand there are some who abuse this privilege but if your going to micro monitor all customers in the plus area Then stop the plus application, who's going to want to have this if you're going to be hovered over every time you shop? To note, the best department is fresh food and bakery the Team lead and his employees under him are great customers service Attentive and always friendly. Always hairnet on great job to the Team lead running this area If I didn't think this was a decent Walmart I would be going to Santa Fe Springs Walmart. The reason I am posting this is To the current Store manager and Coaches or also known as assistant manager customer service is job number one! Make your employees feel wanted, compliment their work don't micro manage and degrade, Training is key. Yes customers can be entitled and rude, but teaching to be friendly regardless keeps customers coming back. Something my former company used to follow by but now Walmart is better then they are but still needs this; The employees, stockers, warehouse personal, cashiers are the core of the establishment Team Leads and management are The teachers and guides in the end customer service shines. I'm very disappointed with my experience at the Walmart Tire Center. I purchased tires online and specifically added another person as an authorized pickup person. His name was listed on my order, yet the employee refused to give him the tires when he arrived to pick them up. This was frustrating and caused an unnecessary inconvenience and delay. If I could give zero stars I would. It starts off with no carts in the cart area to shop/also no carts when I start searching in the stalls because I guess the collector was still going around. So after a 10 minute delay of realizing there is no carts in the store and none in the stalls close by I see one out in the wild and get it. Okay yay, I came to Walmart instead of my much closer Ralph's because I wanted to get Carpe deodorant. Of course this Walmart didn't carry it. Annoying. So check out - it doesn't take the card the first time, the second time, third time. I then go to a card I didn't want to use it still doesn't work the first two times. Then finally does (on a card I didn't want to use) just to have me bag all my 100 dollars worth of groceries myself. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra dollars at your local grocery store. I was in the area and needed to kill some time, so I thought I would do some shopping and just stopped in at Walmart not expecting any more than the normal, but honestly, this might be the nicest Walmart I've ever been to! The aisles are massive compared to and the other Walmart I've ever been in, and there was plenty of other floor space to navigate crowds, and while it was busy, it didn't seem that bad because of your ability to be able to maneuver to the areas you needed to be shopping. There's a quicker restaurant inside and the staff was super pleasant and the store was extremely clean and organized, and as I was leaving, I truly wished I lived closer to shop this location more often! read more

Denice failed to add my name to the service list, and instead of resolving the issue, she engaged in personal conversation with her coworker about weekend drinking plans and craving Buzz balls right now. When Jose took over, the dismissive attitude continued, he refused to confirm my name properly, told me I didn't need to know his name when I asked, and ignored my questions about the wait time. It's hot out here with limited seating Customers who arrived after me were serviced first while I was left with no updates or courtesy. It wasn't until a third staff member approached, with a noticeably better attitude, that my name was finally confirmed and added to the list. I understand some people had appointments but I have an emergency blown tire. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers here is unacceptable. The girl at customer service, Ale, hit me with "there's nothing we can do" and basically told me I'm stuck with it. I even offered to take the $25 return max (on a $34 item!) just to get something back, and she still said no. What's wild is other Walmarts have handled this kind of situation with no problem. But this one? Rigid, unhelpful, and zero effort to find a solution. If you're gonna have return policies, at least be consistent across your stores. What?!?! 5 Stars at a Walmart!! Yes, Yes, Yes. Quality/Quantity - Rough week, I had to get a new car battery from Costco... And now I need new front tires... Came in to order tires because I struggled ordering them online. The team member was nice, attentive, and helpful. They walked me through the process, so when I got back home, I was able to place the order from my laptop. Side note - No local beer sold here... Atmosphere - This is one huge well run store. My wife even said that this Walmart had the cleanest bathrooms she has ever seen in a Walmart. Next time I come here, I am going to use the bathroom, LOL. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. They have McDonalds here, Deli, Bakery, Pharmacy. Plenty of parking. Service - Good. Price - Tires ordered online cost like $70 each. Installation will be approximately $17 to $29 each. Ruby at Money Services was unbelievably rude to me and my husband on Sep 19, She stopped helping us to chat with her coworker, told us to go to another Walmart because she couldn't solve our problem, and claimed our receipt was wrong, after coming back and saying it was correct she then admitted her receipt checker "wasn't working." OK Walmart I hope you read this you pay for a delivery service and they're usually pretty good. The last three deliveries I got they delivered it to the wrong apartment not realizing that is not my number. They're leaving my food at so I had to call Walmart and get a refund and where that those packages ended up, I don't know what door but somebody got a lot of free groceries. Walmart needs to do a lot better Guys are delivering your product. Let them read the numbers not that hard. I'm writing to express how incredibly frustrated and disappointed I am after my recent visit to one of your stores. I've never felt so dismissed and disrespected as a customer. To start, I needed help finding plastic straws. I approached not one, not two, but three different employees--and every single one gave me a different location, all of which were wrong. It felt like they just wanted me out of their way. None of them took the time to actually help me, and all acted like I was a nuisance for simply asking a question. Their tone and body language made it clear they had no interest in assisting me. Then, when my partner and I went to check out, we unknowingly stood in a line that was apparently reserved for Walmart+ members. No signs were clearly posted. Instead of kindly informing us, a young employee snapped, "If you aren't a Walmart member, you can't be here." Her tone was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. This entire experience made me feel like customers don't matter at your store anymore--especially when it comes to younger employees who clearly don't understand the basics of customer service. We were treated like an inconvenience instead of valued customers. Walmart used to stand for affordability and helpful service. Now, it just feels like no one cares. I hope someone reads this and takes it seriously because I can assure you, if this continues, you'll lose more loyal customers like myself. Huge Walmart! It was already packed in the early morning, but plenty of parking since it's located within the Pico Rivera Towne Center where you can also shop and dine. There are good deals and things that are on the more expensive side. Plenty of options. You can grab groceries, pastries, etc. There's a McDonald once you go in the entrance by the grocery side. There is a HUGE self-checkout section...haven't seen this in a different Walmart before. read more

Wow! This place is amazing now. From the cashing out options to all the upgrades in what seems like every department. Way to go! Honestly, I had time to kill and I wanted to visit either a Target or Walmart in the area. Google brought me to this specific location. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and there were so many cars in the parking lot. Then I remembered, its summer and does anyone even work anymore? Nonetheless, I didn't mind parking far and walking. As soon as I walked in I noticed how huuuuge this particular Walmart was. It almost reminds me of Walmart's in the south like Texas etc... Super tall ceilings. Walking around I was pretty content.. The shelves were stocked and although there was a lot of people it didn't feel crowded at all. I found the clearance section and I was a bit disappoint for such a big store only half an aisle? I guess people buy everything up. They are missing 2 stars because the line to check out is no joke. Its literally at a standstill. I really had to hold my tongue. There was a self checkout register that was blinking red. I knew it wasn't out it just needed an associates attention. For as big of a store it is, there should be at least two associates at the self checkout. 5 mins waiting.. an associate walks by and tells the only associate to fix the machine.. he walks over slow as a slug and fixes it. read more

I went into the Walmart location to get my oil changed in the beginning of February 2025. In the beginning of March 2025, my car started giving off smoke from the engine bay and my car quickly overheated in which I pulled over lift it up my hood only to discover that Walmart had not replaced my oil cap when they did my oil change and I had been driving with the cap off for over 800 miles, there was oil all over my engine and the bay. I also observed the reservoir for the coolant cap was put on crooked, and it is my belief that because it was on crooked the pressure builds which caused the coolant to also spray all over the engine and bay. Even after putting almost 2 bottles of coolant in there, my car was still quickly overheating. I'll called Walmart to inform them of the problem and seeking resolution how it could be fixed. The man that I spoke with said his name was Eileen and and he was going to review the cameras and would contact me back. He did call me back. He said he observe the cameras and their guy did indeed not put the cat back on but he was very insistent that they did not touch the coolant. I told him I find that very hard to believe I have not been under my hood since I did my oil change and I would not put it on there crooked. He adamantly denied that they touched it so I then said OK well what now? How can you? What can you do? How can we fix us, he replied that I could bring the car back and they would redo the oil change and they would clean all of the oil off of my engine and bay. I explain to him that I couldn't make it to him without overheating and I had to get my car repaired first. Turns out my radiator is now cracked and had to be replaced $500., as well as replacing the oxygen sensor. I got the radiator repaired and was on my way to go to Walmart to get the oil changed and get the engine cleaned when the check engine light went off. I made it to Walmart. Of course when I asked for Eileen, everyone was looking for a woman and I explain to them that no I spoke with a man. Of course he wasn't available some other dude helped me said that they would fix the problem to just wait. Sidenote, I have gotten my oil changed at Walmart in Beaumont previously when I went to this one I explained I wanted the same exact service that I received at the other Walmart. They decided they were going to put a cheaper oil in my car completely different from what it was. My car tags a 5W 20 they put a O something 20. After they redid my oil change, I made the guy walk me out to the car to open up my hood and show me that the oil cap was on indeed show me the level of the oil and two look at the cleaning they did on the engine. Well, they didn't clean the engine. He swore up and down that they did and of course, conveniently the worker who did the work had just left he was off of work, and he could not furnish any answer that made any kind of sense, when I pointed out that they completely change my oil without my permission or advising me, and to please show me where there's a clean spot on my engine, which he failed to do, and went completely silent, and just look down at the ground and come on, walked off and left it at that so now I am here. I will include pictures. Can anybody show me where they clean my engine. I do not recommend taking your car to this location. They have a bunch of young unqualified workers doing the work and half ass and not taking responsibility for the damage that they have done. They are just going through the motions to get the work done and not caring about the quality of the work or even doing it right. So now I'm forced to reach out to corporate to try to resolve it. read more

Huge Walmart. I know all Walmart Supercenters are big but for some reason this specific location is fairly large. Its open floor gives you just aisles upon aisles of merch. Next thing I quickly noticed was how clean, neat, fully stocked and updated this store was. The renovations made this location feel like it wasn't a "Walmart" if you get what I mean lol. I absolutely loved the clean modern look especially the end caps with displays and lighting to highlight some items attached with a QR code for more info. Plenty of employees around if you need assistance, Thank you to Marcos for stopping to see if I needed assistance and helped me reach the top shelf for specific items I was looking for. Great experience, really love the new look and hoping to see more Walmarts follow suit. Also, they have a McDonald's inside for all my McDonald lovers like me. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR TIRE INSTALLED HERE!!! They BREAK parts on your car & claim they will reimburse you if you fix them- but then WONT!!! IT WAS A LIE!!!!! I AM LIVID Decided on Black Friday to buy a tire and have it installed at Walmart. $90 said and done NBD. So I make an appointment & head 20+ miles to pico Rivera bc that's the closest Walmart w an auto center. I get there 15 mins early and no one even acknowledged the 5-10 people waiting there until I said something. There was NO ONE there to help us for like 20 mins. Then someone finally came. I wasn't checked in until 11:30 am. Fine, they are busy. They found my tire & put in the back seat (& SAID they notated that- which is important for later) I SHOWED the guy that the pressure was on 20 (the rest were 40). I was replacing a tire w a screw in it. It's in a shopping center w some stores so I go shopping... 2.5 hrs later I check on it and notice it's "on hold" no one called to let me know this, so I called them. The guy on the phone told me that they couldn't change the tire because the Lugnuts were too stripped. TWO AND A HALF HOURS IN THEY ARE SAYING THEY CANT DO WHAT I CAME HERE FOR?! I was LIVID. I'm a NYer so I curse a LOT, & I had some choice words. The guy HUNG UP ON ME!! I stormed over there (I was at a store on the other side of the shopping center) even MORE upset bc the guy hung up on me!!! I talk to another guy, & he says they can't do it bc they COULDNT FIND THE TIRE. Meanwhile, it was IN THE BACK SEAT. When I pointed that out they said "ok we'll fix it now" acting like that's what the problem was I waited another 30-45 mins for it to be changed. The guy comes out and shows me that the lugnut was stripped and messed up, so I guess that was true. But if I KNEW that was the case I would have taken it, & had my mechanic friend do it & given him the the money ‍ anyway, I need to buy a new lugnut, but it's ok w 4 for now. Not a big deal. I pay $30 and leave. I get into my car and my sensor on that tire is now ZERO. Nothing. I thought it was odd so I asked my friend that is a mechanic, and he said that's not normal. I went back in and asked them & they said it should work in a few miles. I drove to the citadel outlets bc they were right there. 5 miles. Still 0. Called them again. They said the mechanic said there was no sensor when he took off the tire??? Impossible bc my mechanic said there was one when he did and it worked fine. And when I came in IT WAS WORKING. I showed the guy 20 psi on my dash (I wish I took a pic ) they said I could get it fixed and they would reimburse. I said how do I know that will be true if i do?! He said the manger already knew about it, that they would. This was either a boldfaced lie or they had no idea what they were talking about. I got it fixed by my mechanic, and he said it was BROKEN OFF in a way that my tire could have deflated at any moment. They put my LIFE AT RISK. I call back and leave a message for the manager, never heard back. I call back again- THE MANAGER SAYS THEY FIX IT THERE AND WONT REIMBURSE??!!! Then why did two people before you tell me that that was how it was done???? I am so mad I didn't get their names!!!! I didn't get anyone's names... but everyone there is a lair, bad at their job or just plain st*pid I got angry and the manager then hung up on me. Because that's what professionals do right? They hang up on customers after messing up their car?! and the funny thing is they only do tires and oil changes... How are you so bad at your job that the one thing you do you mess up?! UPDATE: I complained on Twitter/X & they had me send all the info via DM. took a whilllllle but JUST finally got reimbursed by Walmart corporate!! So THEY made things right, NOT the auto center itself. So if you have a problem- COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!!
