While I grew up as a fan of Target over Walmart and rarely spent any time in a Walmart, less even in a Supercenter, I have found myself going to this particular Walmart Supercenter on a regular basis. It helps that I live nearby and that I have a credit card that includes Walmart+ membership. My wife and I will swing by the store either on our own or together for a few items here or there. The service is usually positive, the prices are good, and the store is in decent condition. As I typically find what I need and get what help I am looking for, I gave it 4 stars. My wife goes to this location for produce, toiletries, or skin-care products. I go for ingredients for something I plan to make for that evening for dinner or for the occasional electronic product. When we go together, we may be looking for a whole list of groceries and even a quick simple gift for someone at work or in the family. There are countless departments we have used from the photo department and auto care to clothing, grocery, pet supplies, electronics, seasonal items, and more. They also deliver, ship, and have pick-up options. Walmart is probably the only store I can think of with a greeter and someone saying goodbye while checking your items and receipts. The person saying goodbye is very enthusiastic, which is quite entertaining. I have also appreciated the helpfulness of the cashiers and the staff that were at the self-checkout stations. I have almost always been able to get what I needed at a reasonable price. I appreciate that my American Express Platinum card comes with free Walmart+ membership, which comes with free pharmacy delivery, free online pet care, Burger King savings, free shipping (no order minimum), free Pluto TV, free Paramount Plus, free delivery from store (with minimum order), member prices at fuel, and more. They also hosted Walmart+ Week, which offered free express delivery, fuel discounts (of 50 cents per gallon), free Burger King sandwiches, 6 months of free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, $5 Walmart Cash when trying Scan & Go, and $10 Walmart Cash when trying two of the offers. Deli is open later than some other Walmart Delis 9 PM. But I made a trip specifically to get a couple deli items & arrived 8:45 PM & the deli employee said they closed 8:30 PM! I told him I know they are open till 9 since I have asked other deli employees & been there this time b4. He said we close either 8:30 or 9. I think he wanted to go home early since they were not busy. Management should not allow this. read more

Love this Walmart. Not too big not too small. Doesn't feel overwhelming. Grocery aisles are kept clean. Produce is okay... only issue I ever had was the fruit flies on the produce about a year ago. Aside from that, well stocked. Nice employees too. Home goods section and clothes sections are kept clean. There is also a pharmacy inside. They keep odd things like pregnancy tests locked away which is a huge inconvenience to those looking for such products. It took me close to 15 mins to get one after speaking with 3 employees all of who 'didn't have the key'. Electronics sections is limited but provides basic variety of telly and smart phone merchandise. The parking lot is consistently full due to its location. Shopping carts are located 'inside' the store -- that seems to cause confusion for some. read more

June 7, 2025, and Walmart at this location, recalled all the organic eggs that were on the shelf and refused to sell. Older lady w dirty blue mask and Rolonda gave me a hard time for questioning why. If anything should be recalled it's that filthy blue mask, really it's gross. read more

Always a busy location, you must go early. But it won't matter once you take your cart to the parking lot. It needs to be repaved. It's literally like gravel pretend tar. My car is literally shaking as I'm driving it through the lot don't have glass don't eggs or else they might clink or break. Walmart step it up and repave your lot you're busy enough. read more

If I could give this store less than one star, I would! The worst Customer Service ever! I purchased a gift card for a friend and sent it to her in San Diego. However, when she went to use it, the card was empty, obviously the victim of credit card fraud. I called Walmart that is if you could ever get anyone to pick up the phone and within a few hours I was almost crazy , I got transferred from one person to another, finally got an email from someone who said to enclose the receipt. I thought I would wait until the store was open in early January when it was less crowded so today I took in my receipt, copies of the gift card, etc., after waiting in line for a half an hour I was told that the only way to handle it was to call the 888 number on the back of the card for Walmart which I have done for a half an hour now and I'm almost again, ready to pull my hair out! I called the store and asked to speak to the manager who never did get on the phone. At one point the customer service told me that a gift card could not be purchased with a credit card! Duh! I purchased it at the end of November with a credit card with the assistance of the cashier! The manager of this Walmart explained to me that women are allowed to have purses in there store because a purse only holds 1 or 2 essential items at most LOL I was told to leave my backpack at the front door so I did them I went to the area of the store where the product I needed was locked behind glass so I called the employee over to help me and the employee unlocked the case and I had to get the item out myself and was then told to walk by myself to the self checkout unattended where I then payed for my purchase but when I went to get my backpack it wasn't where I left it because the employee who told me to put it there had moved it from a safe place to outside the doors where anyone could have easily taken it and she even admitted doing it. While women are walking around the store with huge personal bags some women even has 2 big purses/bags I am told that I have to leave my bag unattended. It's not right. I picked up an order from Walmart and the young man that brought them out, loaded everything into one cooler bag, although I had over ten bags. He put the pizza and the bag of spinach in the bottom of the bag and proceeded to put everything on top of it. Five lbs of flour, a half gallon of milk, a half gallon of creamer, and many other items. Needless to say the pizza and spinach was crushed. I very rarely shop at Walmart, never again. Very disappointed! It was my 2nd time at this Walmart. I decided to go do my groceries shopping there & pick up a few other items I needed. I went thru self checkout. Since I had a good amount of groceries, I ask my sister to get another cart while I did my checkout. I did get help from a Caucasian women, I didn't get her name but than you! Once I empty my cart, my sister went to leave it in the cart section, while I was paying. The gentleman at the door I think he was Arabian, ask her did you buy anything. Once I started walking out I had another Caucasian women exiting. He stop me & ask for my receipt, I had both in my hand. I said their right here & you dont need to see them since you didn't ask the young lady in front of me hers. He was rude and I mention to him if you think Im stealing call your manager & the police. I proceeded and walk out. I spent $200 their & took my time scanning every item. I was hoping for someone to come and check my item cause I would have return it all. So, I avoid walmart and the cattle call inside at all costs; that's exactly why I have enjoyed their relatively new grocery shopping app and I just show up and they load my car. At the two bell road locations near my house i've enjoyed great experiences; however, this location couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. Two consecutive times they have completely botched my order. The first time they gave me partially my order and someone else's too. The second time they left out three stocked items and didn't bother to tell me that 4 other items were not in stock. So, i get home thinking i've got all i need to make my blackened chicken on buttered penne pasta with steamed vegetables on the side. Had i known they didn't have key items in stock i'd had gone to another store and picked up the items. Then i call the store with my situation and the guy on the phone seemed disinterested in their lack of service and screw ups. Walmart at 4747 E. Cactus, Phoenix, AZ really needs some help! I've tried to talk to the store manager numerous times about various issues, like no one coming to open a case and waiting for 25 minutes for someone to show up and no one showing to open the case. Or, to find out when Propane will be delivered to the store and no one can find the store manager. Try calling the store. They don't seem to believe in answering the phone anywhere in the store other than the pharmacy. Go to the meat section and there out of date meat in the bins that looks grey. We are regular customers at that store because it is close to us. From now we will be shopping at another grocery store all together. Unfortunately, I will have to go to this Walmart again. I am a service dog handler and while searching for a freaking posterboard a woman brought her PET inside. We had been passing the entrance before the pet took one look at my service dog and aggressively lunged and barked at mine. My service dog remained calm and kept his focus on me as the dog continued barking and growling. My service dog has gone and is going through 300+ hours of training. I almost had kicked the dog if it gotten any closer. I am so glad he was not attacked, and remains working. I told TWO managers about the incident which they both witnessed, and they told me "we can't do anything" which is absolutely incorrect. They are allowed to ask and deny access to a "service animal" or pet that is acting out and misbehaving. I offered one of the managers an ADA law card which he took one look at and shoved it back in my face. Not only that, but they still let the dog inside. I'm currently 8 months pregnant & had put in a pickup order for 2 larger items. I sent my husband (because they didn't say I was the one required to be there. it didn't say an ID was required either) to go pick up both items. My husband is heavily tattooed, and he brought his friend who was black with him to go get the items. They saw multiple people get their orders without them checking their ID's and just putting items in their car. When it finally came to my husband, who was checked in through the walmart app. They wouldn't give him the items I already paid for because I was not present. Again, no where on the app did it say I had to be present with an ID. I strongly believe they didn't give my husband the items because of the way his friend & him look. I brought in a water bottle and they thought I was stealing theirs when I tried to pay for my water refill. They are very rude and treat everyone like thieves. Stopped on my way home after breakfast with a friend. Went to one of the two checkouts open as there was no line. I was not greeted, not told hello, not asked how I was today. This is a really nice Walmart, with a huge parking lot, and several nice places to eat nearby. It is not a superstore, and does not have an inside fast food restaurant. The quality of the produce and the food is very good, and they have a big selection of clothing, electronics, home goods, hardware, and toys-just to name a few things. The store employees are very kind and knowledgeable. I always enjoy going to this location. It is usually very busy, as it is at a busy intersection. But even if you have to walk a little bit, you will always be able to find a parking spot. The wait to check out is never very long, and they have a few of those self-pay kiosks as well. read more

Please make sure you door dash drivers deliver to the correct address. I live in an area where there are a lot of snowbirds who have left for the summer months. The Walmart's drivers are repeatedly leaving groceries at the incorrect address and all of the food has to be thrown away.
