I was shopping with my newborn and my two-year-old, using an in-line double stroller. While checking out and completing my payment, a male employee instructed me to move my stroller, told me to hurry up, and said I needed to get out of the way. The interaction felt dismissive and unkind, particularly given the circumstances. At no point was help offered with my bags or any consideration shown for navigating the checkout process with two very young children. I left the store feeling disheartened. Trader Joe's has always been a place I associate with friendliness, patience, and community, which made this interaction especially disappointing. Mothers--and all caregivers--deserve to be treated with respect and empathy, especially in public spaces where managing children and errands can already be challenging. Hands down the best Trader Joe's I've been in. It felt larger, more stock and the checkout process so streamlined. We found all we were looking for and more. Funny how I never step into Trader Joe's in CA but I've been to so many throughout AZ whenever we are in town. They have the freshest gorgeous flowers compared to Wholefoods, Fry's or Costco. Out of all the TJ in Phoenix, this location is by far my favorite for flowers. Their wide selection is organized and fair prices. I especially love their wall of orchids. Last month we wanted certain colors for Gladiolus and we called in advanced to reserve a box. The box came in multi colors and they don't have control over what colors but we were able to select what we wanted instead of the ones on display. Same with roses. Parking is always crowded with Wholefoods and LA fitness next door. read more

Such a cute Trader Joe's! It's a little smaller than other ones but typically has everything in stock - I've had my gluten free everything bagel and gluten free pizza dough be out of stock before, which was very sad. Going earlier in the morning would help. This place gets veryyyy busy after work and on the weekends and I avoid those times at all costs... the parking lot is insane. This is probably my favorite Trader Joes in the valley from an overall options and location standpoint. THough this one is almost always quite busy, they have an awesome selection and always seem to be extra stocked with flowers, plants and unlike some of the otehr location in the valley, also have hard liquor. The beer and wine selection is equally as great as other TJ's, but the the TJ's brand whiskey, tequila and what not are such a great affordable house option to have on stock. In addition, the location is great as they are in an area with a lot of other shops, so I find myself being able to hit a few spots on my list at once. Parking can be a bit chaotic, but that's to be suspected in the Biltmore area. read more

10-28-24 I've been going to Trader Joe's when I need specific items like pitted dates (not shown here) and other items. This time I bought chocolates. The staff and service have been consistent. The selection is huge and you'll find their Trader Joe brands as good as the upscale brands. They got unique items for the gourmet food lovers and party hosts. I come to this location occasionally, since it's between home and work. The parking lot is awkward though, as with most TJ's parking lots. The store itself is also small, smaller than the average TJ's, and its always very busy, even during the week. But of course, everyone was very nice and friendly. They have SOOO many fun and interesting snacks as well as your usual grocery items. Pretty normal experience. I'll probably come back here again when I'm in the area or want to try a new food item I saw online. read more

I've been shopping at this store for years... Today I had the miss fortune of meeting the manager or maybe assistant manager, and his horrible cashier!!! They were Both two of the rudest people I have encountered in a very long time!!! I told them both I was having a really bad day and just wanted to pay for my items and get the heck out of the Frikken store. It was as if they had a word quota. They would not stop talking in their condescending tone. What a joke!!! What a waste of employees... they belong away from the customers. A friend and I just stopped in at this Trader Joe's today. It is pumpkin season after all. We also were celebrating. I had been to my oncologist earlier and got the wonderful news that my surgery a few weeks ago went very well and all my cancer is gone. I was also told that there was a 95% chance of remaining cancer free. The cashier was very friendly and talkative. She asked us about our day and we told her my great news. She then whispered something to another young man who worked there. A few minutes later, he returned and they both presented me with a lovely bunch of flowers! I am still surprised and thrilled at the kindness these two wonderful young people showed me. Of course, I teared up. It was so very kind and considerate. I've always loved shopping at Trader Joe's. Today made my experience even more special and wonderful. I wish I knew their names, but if they read this, I want them to know how much their gift meant to me! It was truly special! I shop no where but traders joes ! My store. I bought the frozen dark chicken with teriyaki/barbecue sauce. First bite was. Hummm. Then each bite was like having a bone effect, not chewable. (Hock joint). Flavor was good, just couldn't chew or swallow, wanting to give my rating, took it back and explained my experience. Wow, got a refund but was told he/she bought it every day and had for lunch they loved it. ?? They sold 1000's bag every day, and I got the one bag that had the leg joint in bag. This is a moderately sized location with a great stock and selection. I found a few cashiers have a chip on their shoulder. It can be overlooked as I live for all things Trader Joe's. One of the biggest Trader Joe's I've been to and probably the busiest. My aunt and I walked in on Labor Day afternoon and it was crazy busy. There were people every where and the lines were so long. We got in, grabbed a snack and luckily there was a 15 item or less line. We were able to get in and out but I'm not sure about the residents who were doing their weekly shopping. read more

I am a Trader Joe's lifer. I've been going there for longer than I can remember and although I tend to hit them up for seasonal items, you can catch me there anytime of the year. Christmas is my favorite holiday to hit them up though. They have plentiful poinsettias in every size and color! I make sure to get their mini 2" pot with glitter for all my customers. We use to be regulars at TJ however our recent purchases have been truly underwhelming. We purchased several of our favorite items like cocktail sauce for shrimp (3) and some wonderful cookies, the Speculoos Crisp Caramelized cinnamon Belgian ones. BUT the Shepherds pie was seriously disappointing, soupy with no flavor at all. I LOVE mashed potatoes but whatever the gruel was on top reminded me nothing of potatoes. The whole thing was completely flavorless. And seriously it takes a lot to not make a decent shepherds pie. A sad waste of money. read more

"Rona Chronicles" This review is a little different than many others. But, it is a review nonetheless. I'm reviewing a product from Trader Joe's ! Ok yal so I did a thing!! I decided to cook (hidden talent)! I wanted to make some Jamaican Beef-patties. However, my fam is vegan. I had to find something that was going to taste like beef but wasnt quite beef. And, yall...Guess who had the right product? Trader Joe's. I bought their Beef-less ground beef and lets jus say it was a hizzzzz zit!!! I will say the package is a little deceiving so dont be alarmed lol. It seems like there isn't a lot of meat butttttt there is! It doesn't taste like mush and its quite filling. You dont need a lot of seasoning to mask the peculiar taste (there isnt one). I was able to make my dish with the substitute meat relatively easy. In my pictures, I added a few ingredients to the Beef-less beef to make my patties. My last picture are the patties! Thank you Trader Joe's for this here product .
