This Walmart is definitely a great place to shop. I have used online shopping to get my items ordered well ahead and it was easy to pick them up. The entire process was made very simple and easy. I would definitely use this service. The parking lot is huge and easy to find spaces based on which department you want to go to the store. The store is well stocked, and the staff is very friendly to assist the customers in need. However, there are lot of aisles especially the perfumes and body lotions they were all locked and you need staff to help you. This Walmart has definitely lot of utensils on stock and very convenient to make your choices by checking them out. They do have lot of other shops like Salon, Glasses for eye which is great. Who knew that Walmart could create such a beautiful cake? During the last minute birthday plans for my sister, I was able to create this cake through the online Walmart website. Originally I was going to book a cake with a cake specialist however time slipped away. Luckily Walmart had this cake ready in less than 72 hours. The cake was flavorful and tasty. However the hot pink icing was a little harsh. Will definitely keep Walmart in mind when I am needing a last minute cake option. read more

For many years I have always took my car to Firestone on 3rd st and Osborn, probably about 25 years. Anyway it has become very expensive just for an oil change 120.00 and then they said I needed new lugnuts so I purchase them for all tires 136.00. Found I really did not need them from another Firestone employee. So I decided I would go to Walmart, my children do. I had my oil changed and I ask if they would look at a my front low beam headlight, as it was not working. The young man who took care of my car must have discovered I only had a loose wire and fixed it, but I was never charged , and he changed my oil, Total bill $71.00. OMG.. I've been waiting over an hour for a replacement product for a return that was delivered damaged today. The store is almost empty but there is a massive line at the returns. No one seems to know what they are doing and a store of this size should be able to handle a return and replacement in much less time with the amount of staff hanging out doing nothing. I returned a small fan that I purchased using PayPal on the Walmart website. I was forced to take a Walmart gift card and not a credit to my original payment method by a female rep that didn't know how to do her job, because I payed using PayPal she said. So I asked to speak with her manager. After waiting 20 minutes for a manager or "coach" as they put it to show up Sinan shows up. After arguing with me about Walmart's "system" not being able to offer me anything but a gift card because I paid using PayPal, I stated that something is wrong, you must be able to offer me a credit to my original payment method. Sinan again told me rudely that I should be happy because I got a gift card when I expected a simple credit to my PayPal account. I then took a pic of Sinans name tag to reference at home with Walmart corporate and he lost his temper and threatened to call the cops on me for taking a picture in a private Walmart store.. I laughed and left as he called the rent a cops in an aggravated state.. When I got home the first thing I did was jump online to see what options there were to make a formal complaint on Walmart's website. It looked like a chat was the way to do it. I simple typed into the chat, " I was forced to take a Walmart gift card instead of a credit to my original payment method" because Sinan the Walmart coach told me so.. The reply from Walmart came back immediately, here's what they said: "I really appreciate you giving this to our attention Theodore, This is definitely not right, and I sincerely apologize on behalf of Walmart if this has caused you any problems. Terrible attitude by many of their employees. Received bad information from the tire center and purchased the wrong tire. According to Discount Tire the tire Walmart sold me was a road tire and i needed an all terrain tire. The tire they put on my car could actually cause damage to my car. Around 9 AM I made a tire appointment for 4 PM that day, by 2 o'clock they sold two of my four tires. They told me that I should have purchased the tires online, but nobody told me I had to do that when I made the appointment. When I told them I was driving on a doughnut and did not feel safe, Bill said it was not his fault, it was his supervisor's fault. Passing the blame. Then when I asked for a resolution by him, helping me make an appointment somewhere else they refused saying he said he did not work for another Walmart he worked for that Walmart. I told him it was horrible customer service and he said there was nothing horrible about it. I said wow and he said it was not a wow moment. I had forgotten his name so when I asked for his name, he sarcastically said it was Bill like I told you when I picked up the phone. It was not my doing they sold the tires. It was not my doing they did not tell me I had to buy them prior to my appointment. But I was made to feel like it was all my fault or it was Bill's fault with a complete lack of empathy they made a mistake and a complete lack of assistance in fixing the issue! This Walmart location has improved drastically over the last couple of years. They put in a bunch of self check outs - I go with those now 100% of the time. Much easier than waiting in the regular checkout line. They've also greatly improved staffing- I see staff all over the store now. Walmart is Walmart - but I have to say, they've taken a lot of action to improve this location. I come to Walmart with the intention of getting out fast seeing that I just needed pants, got handed the wrong size by a lady who's mute, still helped nonetheless and I'm very grateful for her assistance. What I am not grateful for is the fact that I had to wait another 35 minutes for some pants (because this store is notorious for locking up just about EVERYTHING including work clothes) I never ended up purchasing because no other associate showed up to help after asking three more times and having an overworked stocker ask over the intercom. All the shelves were properly stocked and the associates seemed pleasant enough. Check-out was quick, but I think I got there just as the shifts were changing.
