They called me at 6:20 am after I worked a night shift totally unprofessional. Worst Customer Service ever. They loss a Customer with the service I received. Save your time shop some where else. They ruined my morning on my daughter's Prom Day. I have been to tons of Walmarts all over the country and no Walmart staff is as helpful and friendly as the staff at the Novi Walmart 2024. We impromptu bought 90% of all their bikes for a company party, and this lady employee saw us, and corralled all the employees that could help and made the whole situation simple and enjoyable! Everybody was so friendly the entire time. Today, 6/6/24, I stopped in and as I was walking out, a worker was leaving as well. As she walked to her car, she: stopped and helped a handicapped man who had dropped something, and yelled, "bless you" to a man who sneezed across the parking lot. She didn't think twice about being kind. Whoever does the hiring for that store does a great job! read more

No. Just no. Why do I even bother? Well, I do bother because I have a prepaid debit card from them. If you go there in person and pull up a barcode you can put money on it for free. No fees at all. And NOBODY has a freaking clue how to do this. I have been asked to come back at a later time/date, go to another Walmart or even pay the fees. I finally did go to another Walmart, who figured it out and told me what they have to do so I can tell other Walmart stores I'd necessary. The woman helping me this time kept giving up trying to deposit the money on the card. I would not take no for an answer and finally she got it right. The positive side - her mask stayed on, covering her mouth and nose the entire time. read more

I wish I could leave a positive review. But, on almost every level, this Walmart is quite awful. The customer experience is poor because of service and incompetency. On many occasions, the wait to check out is agonizingly long. When you reach the cashier, many are super slow, and show limited to zero interest in performing their job duties and helping customers. I have come across only a couple of staff members that have a customer-friendly attitude. But, the system is much to blame. They staff two cashiers for the entire store and allow lines and wait-times to build. Maybe, that is a reason why the couple people who are working feel too much strain and pressure to be able to be effective. There is usually only one person in the deli and there is no one visible to assist in the store as well. The store, itself, was designed decently and there was potential to make this a nice store. But, they fall way short. read more

It's very weird that after cashing literally hundreds of checks that they randomly start using a different check cashing service and I'm a big risk factor weird to no longer want my money read more

The selection is lacking, the store is filthy and unorganized, just stuff everywhere, can't get through the isles. Then when I asked another person to move their cart so I could get something on the shelf, I was screamed at and some words were spoken. Then security made me leave. I'm sure that the fact that I was with my wife (I am lgbtq+) and I was wearing goth makeup had nothing to do with the reason I was assaulted or asked to leave. Either way, I will shop at meijer where I don't have to fear being assaulted or asked to leave. I recommend you do the same, especially if you're gay or goth read more

Hit or miss at Walmart tonight. Some shelves were well stocked and tidy. Other shelves had big holes in them where merchandise wasn't displayed. The store was bright and clean and it's a decent Walmart otherwise. Note that this is a Supercenter, meaning that it has a complete groceries department including frozen, dairy, produce and meats. read more

Compared to the Walmart stores in LA, this location is way less crowded!!! Never a line at any cash registers. Many staffs are working on the floor. It's nice to be able to ask for assistance when need it. Always find great price at Walmart!! This location is super center too. One stop shopping!!! read more

Walmart Supercenter - Department Stores Near Me - Novi, Michigan

Terrible customer service stood in line 3-4 mins while one worker was on the phone. The other stared at me and my boyfriend. I got tired of carrying my diaper bag cause im tiny and i set it down on the counter and then she decides to help i came to return an Apple Pencil bought a day ago she pulls the pencil out and looks for a secrial number on the pencil shes young so obviously she should know its on the box not the pencil she doesn't check the box or receipt just denies the return. Went to another Walmart they returned it right away. Rude disrespectful, disgusting service at this location in novi you have the best workers greetings people the worst ones ever at customer service desk do better. I'll definitely look into getting this person fired what a waste of my time. read more

This Walmart deserves zero stars out of five. But I cannot do that so they're getting a one. I have an interview here once and it was the worst interview ever. They don't know what they're doing. They have no clue. So they show close this on up. read more

Was at the Novi Walmart on 02/10/24 and stopped at the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist a question about a medication I was taking because I wasn't feeling well. Talk about unprofessional!!! She asked me what was wrong and instead of coming to the counter to help, she stood behind her little station and I had to yell out to her what the problem was for all to hear. Talk about lazy and unprofessional......will never get a script filled there again! Neither will my family and friends! They need to hire someone that shows some professionalism in their job. read more

My experience with Walmarts in general have been meh BUT this location has me super impressed! It lives up to its name of being a supercenter - Huge selection of all things one would expect to find in a store like Walmart and then some MORE. I frequently come here to get our weekly stash of fruits, avocados and vegetables. Now if you're looking for top notch organic stuff this place might not be for you but if conventional produce works then you will be quite happy with the quality and price here! Should I decide to shop for the house, groceries, personal care items, beauty products, apparel, etc. I know I'm covered which saves me having to make another trip to another store. Employees are around generally speaking and very helpful in case you are unable to find something. We almost always do a self checkout (very comfortable with that) since the cashier counters are very few. Then again I've noticed it to be the same in several other similar stores in the area, Kroger included. In a nutshell - love shopping here! read more

Terrible service!! Called to reserve my pickup spot and got nothing but attitude!! Would recommend a different location! Pathetic

This is my Walmart of choice because it's less than 2 miles from my house. With that being said, I am disappointed that it's a smaller store. They don't carry as many products or offer as much variety as larger supercenters. The lines here also get out of control. Three cashiers with 10 people in each line. I think not. Thank goodness for the self checkout lanes. This was pushed to a three star rating because Walmart usually offers the best prices on groceries. I will continue to patronize this location because of its convenience. read more

This Walmart is literally the worst I've ever been to in my entire life. They staff just doesn't care, it's never stocked the app will say they have items then you get there to find out it's not on the shelf, you ask an associate for help and back to my first point that they don't care. The product that is out on the shelf is never in the correct place, so you take it up the the register and get shocked when the price is higher, then back to my original statement that the staff doesn't care so they refuse to price match for their mistake. I hate going here, I have started going to the one in Commerce because at least they stick product and generally tend to put it in the correct place... read more

This store is run like a chicken with it's head cut off. No. One knows what the other is doing. Never place an order online and asked for it to be assembled. If you do you will be so frustrated, you will want to pull your hair out. I ordered a bike online but before I did so a called this store to ask the procedure. I followed it they did not! Ugh It took three additional days for them to get it put together because apparent their builders are done with them also because they would not respond to their calls. Bottom line after much stress I finally got my bike approximately 10:00 pm and it was thrown together. Never again read more

I had a quality issue with a camera that Ciara, the customer service manager handled painlessly for me. I typically dread Walmart, but the service given at the Novi location was top notch! i told him i wasn't gonna make a bad review and im not. i went into walmart in novi today and came in to print some pictures for work and unfortunately the guy who helped me didn't have a name tag, but helped me out so much!!!! he is working alone at the electronics counter and it's like everyone needed help all at once. the picture printer was out of ink and it was causing problems and i ended up being there for an hour waiting for the printer to be fixed because he was helping like 20 people at once and no one was helping him!!! so many times you go to walmart and see so many lazy workers just sitting around and it affects people like him who obviously work extremely hard. get him some help please!!!!!! thank you for all your help!!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We waited 20+ mins in the electronic section with no help. When a sales associate walked by we were ignored only to be told it was not their section. It is beyond me why people work on customer service when they have no sense of it read more

Terrible delivery service here! I have ordered $300 from Kroger without issues and this Walmart can't get a few cases of water right! I was missing items i was charged for and then I had ridiculously way off substitutions (which I said they could contact me about while still shopping but they didnt). The delivery person couldn't carry in the water because they had a knee replacement and the person accepting the order was 7 months pregnant so we had to get outsiders to help carry to in. Ruth the "new manager" of this department called me and offered nothing more than an "you got a refund it's all correct" "reassurance" not even an offer for future free delivery fee or anything. This is terrible customer service and Ruth needs some management courses in customer service! No worries Ruth we wouldn't use your store or service again when I can get no hassles and real customer service at KROGER! read more

3.5 stars Occasionally I come here at odd times (early morning or late evening) to pick up groceries. I try not to support Wally World for a variety of reasons but when they're across the street and open 24 hours it's hard to pass from time to time. Rated mainly for its cleanliness and chic outdoors. But it's still a Walmart. I don't recommend coming here often because it tends to be overpriced. And cilantro is almost always sold out. I was craving homemade salsa dang it! Where am I supposed to go now?! Oh, that's right. Meijer isn't to far. And it's 24 hours too. read more

Basically my least favorite store out there. On the rare occasion that I actually have to go into this store I am met with the worst customer service. Not enough employees for a store of this size either, which means long lines even at the customer service area. Also-be extra careful when ordering anything online. They sell items from other companies on their site and even though it's sold on their site, it is not an actual Walmart item. Found this out after waiting in a LONG line at customer service when I was told they couldn't help me and I had to call the actual company I purchased it from to set up a refund. And now I have another return for something I purchased online. Again this is not a Walmart item and when I tried to return it I was charged the full shipping fee plus an $8 restocking fee, for flameless candles ??? I paid $40 and am getting back $26. So ridiculous. Never, EVER again. read more

Recently moved to Troy and that Walmart is a PIT, so when I'm in the Novi area I go here instead. Super new and super nice.

The front store Team-leader named A.J. The women in sales and the cashiers at this store are very rude. They act like it's an inconvenience to help the customers with anything, and don't, if they can keep from it.
