I have been an avid Kroger shopper up until the 2020 time frame. With limiting my shopping excursions, I shopped mostly speciality stores and Busches. I still frequent Joe's meats and produce and Cantoros as well. I did start shopping at Meijer's more often. I love the selection, the prices and the organization of the store. The prices are a stand out! It is sure nice to have the grocery bill represent some very good discounts. I also like the baked good section and the deli. As with many stores, it is apparent that the supply- chain is still an issue, some departments have lower stock levels. My fear was check out. Some big stores seem to have a lot of challenges staffing the check out lanes. Meijer has staff working and it looks like management steps in when things get busy. I have been to this location about 4 times and each experience has been quite good. I think Meijer will displace Kroger permanently.

Great to have Pop machine back.

Besides the flower section that could use a serious upgrade, once you get use to the set up, it is one of the sanest Meijer I have been to and I have shopped Meijer in 3 different states. Bottle room is never crowded and the machines work. Even on a Saturday afternoon with the parking lot crowded, it doesn't seem that crowded. I can find the stuff I come to stock up on. The workers are helpful and friendly. Even the lines to check out is rarely lined up in the clothing section. With multiple ways to get off 8 mile, you can avoid the nightmare of Haggerty Rd is around there ( what planning commission would agree to put Target, Costco, Meijer, and a Chick-fil-A in less than a quarter mile section with a Kohls and bunch of eating places!!!) I guess this is my Meijer now.

I'd leave this place 0 stars if I could. The store is ALWAYS DIRTY! There is never any food stocked on shelves. NO CHICKEN, or produce, the produce looks awful and the lettuce is always about to die before you even get it home. 1 checkout open when you have a full cart. Rude workers who don't help you at all. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS STORE OR ANY MEIJERS for that matter. Highly disappointed!

Two lanes open plus self check. All lines are this long or even longer.

I have been coming to meijer for years. This location has become absolutely awful. Not only are there shelves not stocked. After you barely find the items you need, you then have to wait 2.5 hours in a line that goes to the back of the store in Order to checkout. Plenty of employees walking around. Not sure what they are doing but they certainly aren't stocking shelves or checking customers out. I will be going out of the way to go to a different location from now on. Or even a different store all together.

So Meijer is great. The lines at this specific Meijer are routinely comically large.

They were right great chicken slaw and potatoes were good too. My wife had a piece the next day at lunchtime and said it was great even cold that's a sign of a good product. I am glad I waited. Will be back for more chicken and maybe even a pizza. Thanks

I was eager to avoid the kitchen and had always wanted to try the restaurant, so I was game. We were able to get a reservation immediately and headed on over. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We started our meal with the grilled calamari - a nice change from the typical fried that is usually served in restaurants. It was light and filling, and accompanied by some delicious bread and olive oil with balsamic to dip. For my main course, I chose the orrechiette pasta. The portion was gargantuan - I can have it for at least 3 meals - and the flavors were so balanced and well-composed. Our server did a good job of making sure we had our food promptly and that plates were cleared out as we finished each course. She was friendly as well. We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to introducing friends and family to the restaurant soon!

This is the first place I saw white strawberries (several years ago) and on my most recent visit I found fresh soursop in a bottle! I am so excited to try it as I love soursop, and it's kind of a pain to eat and prepare. My favorite quality of this store is its local focus. I popped in here for a couple of bags of groceries for a weekend getaway. I wanted high quality, unique items, and Westborn delivered. On top of that, most of them were locally produced, even better. They have local staples like Sander's chocolates, but lots of lesser known ones, too. The daily prepared meals continue to shine (bourbon glazed chicken thighs, mac and cheese, roasted vegetables). They also have vegetable and fruit trays, freshly cut. Though I skipped them this time, you continue to find a lot of in-house and brought in sweets and treats, a sizable wine and beer selection (basement), and a good amount of staples (that will be pricey). They also have lovely fresh flowers and plants for gifting or to light up your own life.

Every aisle had folks stocking shelves - which is a good thing! However, the Kroger app is horrible! There were several in-store specials where the signs said to scan the code to apply the coupon. Whenever I tried, another copy of the Kroger app opened up and not to the coupon page. When I went to the coupon section, the items were not listed. A different associated offered to help and I thought maybe he'd have a better chance given he worked there and was not older than 30 years old...however, he could not figure it out either and paged the manager for assistance. Self-check out was limited to just three and only one manned by a cashier. Lines were at least 10 customers long and moved slow. I know you need folks stocking shelves but when the lines are snake down the aisles, it seems it would be good to have at least one or two people move up to the front of the store to check out customers. Sadly, we left with several items on our grocery list and went to Meijer to get them....at least their self-check out area moves quickly!
