It's a Walmart, but this one is actually pretty organized. I typically find myself at the larger department store here and there and while most recently I was finding myself at the one in Niagara Falls, I recently ran in here for a few items. It was an efficient and quick run. I was in need of a beard trimmer and quickly found the aisle. I did find the trimmer behind a security lock, so I had to buzz someone to unlock it but they came pretty quickly and I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. Did an online shopping order, as I felt Id have no patience shopping today. On line ordering was easy. Pick up I was surprised went pretty quick. They have I think 16 parking spots for pick up and ALL were full. I was in 11. Even so I waited less than 30 minutes, which I felt with the amount of people was actually good. Lot faster had I gone in and shopped myself. Only had one replacement item. And all items I requested were accounted for, and good produce selections were made. One thing that really irritated me about this Walmart is that they don't have tap to pay what type of store don't have tap to pay

They just remodeled the whole store, and it does look great and is fully stocked. I went in and only wanted 3 items, it took me maybe 5 minutes to shop. What took forever were the lines. They have 2 self checkout areas on one end of the store with separate lines, there were about 25 people total waiting in line with only 3 of the lanes open. It took me probably 20 minutes just to get near the front of the line. Then the other self checkout area had no line so the employee told me to come over there, i did, and then she said oh just wait a minute, and there actually wasn't a lane open yet, by the time the people finished checking out for me to go, about 5 people had made it through the other line that was behind me. I was beyond pissed. There is no reason they couldn't have opened another checkout when the line was that deep. The only other register open in the area was the spark shoppers that you have to pay the membership to use, which is so stupid because no one was even going to it and we still weren't allowed to check out there. The woman watching people use the self checkout also decided to only watch the one side so the line I was originally in had people with over 15 items which took forever to check out. It was ridiculous. I guess you can make the store look nicer but apparently can't change your staffing or open more registers to actually make it an efficient shopping experience. I originally thought wow this is so nice I would definitely come back more often now, nope. Not after all that. Curbside pick up has been terrible lately. Orders are being delayed 2-4 hours! Wont let you refund and they have been choosing the substitute items for you without asking. Super awful experience my last three times. Will no longer be ordering curbside pick up from here and I will probably go to a different location all together if I need anything from a Walmart. I 've never been to the Walmart before & I have to say, I loved it. It wasn't as busy as the one on Sheridan. It seemed a bit bigger,maybe ? The employees were nicer. They had a larger selection of items. This was the ONLY store,anywhere in this area to carry what I was looking for. That's why I had to come here. I like the way this one was set up & the prices were lower as well on some items that my son "the Gamer" took notice of right away. The shelves are always empty like there's gonna be no food for tomorrow.. also just a few years ago you could go in after Christmas for weeks and get things for 90% off as the weeks went by. I really like the grocery pickup option as well as the order ahead thru the app and pick up at the kiosk option. If you're in a hurry this is perfect I just think it would be nicer if they made it so you could pick up items the same way the groceries can be picked up instead of having to come inside. This Walmart is kinda shit just because of the front door guy with the limp. He was so rude to me and my family for no reason like it seemed like he enjoyed being an asshole. (mentioned the limp because there was 2 door guys) So my dad checked out separately from my mom (he purchased a microwave). My mom and I went back to buy lightbulbs. Met up at the end of the registers my mom put the lightbulbs and receipt in the cart with everything else. We go to walk out together and as we're about to walk through the doors he was like "you got a receipt" and were like yeah and my dad grabs the receipt (that was my mom's so it only had the lightbulbs). "No for the microwave! Where's the microwave!?!?" In such an accusatory and disrespectful tone. My dad gets out the second receipt, the dude takes his sweet time looking at it and says "enjoy" and as we're always walking away says "have a great day" in such a disrespectful and smug way. They like to make sure you are happy with your order. If there are substitutions. they go over it with you. If you dont want the substitute, you can decline it. They pack up your car and off you go. The lawn and garden area doesn't have nearly the same variety of products. Previous years it was stocked with lawn ornaments an shrubs. This year no ornaments and the plants they had weren't maintain. Forget it if you what to feed wild birds. Those shelves are completely empty most of the time. The added bonus now they seem to like to keep relocating the products they have. I could go on ...but I think you get the idea. Walmart is just an oversized under stocked thrift store. We went to Walmart in North Tonawanda. After I was done shopping; I proceeded to check out. At this time there were no open registers (with an employee) on the grocery end. My husband nicely asked if a register could be opened because it was an insane job to do on a tiny scanner. They sent us all the way down to the other end (where the doors weren't even unlocked. Again we asked if a register could be opened. Nope! Now I'm told that it was too late, there were no employees (which I promise you there was!) I was guessing that we had at least $500 in items. Then, two employees stood there. One was watching to see if we were scanning every item properly and not stealing. Lol... If they did their job, they wouldn't have to watch me. I should mention the fact that that an employee had to come over at least 5 times because we maxed the item limit. Lol... Then, two employees stood there. I am giving this Walmart five stars because of the Subway inside the store! I have never been treated so kindly the manager waited on us and I felt like I was in a restaurant! He went out of his way to treat me and my daughter like important customers and that would have me coming back here 100 fold! You can tell he values his customers!! This Walmart is well-maintained, easy to navigate (generally), and the staff is typically more friendly than the Sheridan location- though that really just depends on each individual employee rather than the store itself. I try to visit this Walmart as much as possible, though my errands usually take me to the Sheridan location, which is ghetto-licious (not my style). Everything here is clean and stocked well. It's easy to find what I'm looking for. Customer service is always fast and friendly, too. Make sure you eat before you go, because once you walk in and smell the amazing aroma coming from Subway, your stomach will be growling in a second. My personal experiences here have always been good, so I have no complaints so far. If you're sick of the stabbings, filth, and *sarcastic tone* Parents of the Year at your Walmart, come here to this one and you'll have a much more pleasant shopping experience. read more

I ordered my groceries to be picked up from the Walmart App a few weeks ago and it was the worst experience and food quality that I have ever experienced. The app was easy to order from and to check-in, but I was disappointed that the emails and the app did not tell me that I needed to bring bags with me. All of the other stores in the area provide grocery bags, but Walmart does not for some reason. I found out about the bag situation after I arrived at the store, which is 20 minutes from my home, and the employee told me that they do not provide bags. I have never ordered from Walmart before; I was flabbergasted that they did not provide bags or say anything about bags not being furnished before I showed up to pick up my groceries. I ordered a lot of groceries, that I now had to bag up to just unbag in five minutes. Once I got home to inspect my items, I found out that a majority of my produce was rotten and slimy. I was extremely disappointed with the bad produce, with Thanksgiving was the next day and my produce was for the dinner. Because it lies between where I live and often substitute as a teacher, it is often convenient when I take the slow route home down the Boulevard. Well, it's a Wal-Mart. But if you *have* to go to one, this is the one to go to. It's hidden away, so it doesn't get nearly as much traffic as the other ones. Plus, the clientele and associates seem to be a little more refined, for lack of a better term. Compared to other stores (I'm looking at YOU, Sheridan/Bailey and Walden) the lines are WAY shorter, again, probably b/c it's not nearly as crowded as other stores. We visited on a Saturday night before Thanksgiving and it wasn't rammed with people like the Military Rd location. We often find what we need at this location vs others. Attended this location today to purchase a laptop and case. Found a great associate who assisted us. When we went to pay, the MasterCard was declined. Contacted the issuer who advised all was in order, but because the associate rang in the order multiple times, the card issuer informed us that the store had to contact their merchant authorizer. The CSM that assisted us attempted to get the number and call, but the assistant manager came by and told us "we won't call anyone because its an issue with the card". He was informed what our card issuer told us and he wouldn't be calling anyone. I told him the merchant authorizer is the bank that issues the POS, and he said "what's a POS". This management team is a joke and not knowledgeable. I will not be returning back to this location. read more

this Walmart is very good. They have many food items.as well as many kitchen appliances and other house appliances.they also carry some interesting's toys. These toys are perfect for birthdays and Christmas especially when you live nearby the store.sometimes Walmart offers free samples of bakery items and other items that just came in or items people don't really buy. We also have an outdoor section or Christmas section during the holidays.you can also find a clearance section nearby the holiday/outdoor section.The clearance section usually has out of date toys things from holidays that already happened.but this section can save you a couple bucks on a Christmas gift.sometimes you can find some good deals there but I recommend skipping over the clearance section and less you have a birthday party to go to.many of the workers here are friendly and helpful. The checkout process is usually more busy on the weekends or towards Christmas or different holiday.you can also tend to find Walmart busy when a big football game is going on.there's also some crane games to entertain the children will somebody else checks out. The only downside is that the store is usually dirty.that's all I have to say about Walmart for now. read more
