Stopped here on the way from Indiana. Regular Walmart and I have no complaints. Very busy and clean store. Quick trip got what I needed.

From sliced meats, many cheeses, to freshly made pasta salads and fruit salads, my cart started filling up. I had a couple subs made at the counter since my hubs prefers a different cheese on his. The woman behind the counter could not have been nicer to fulfil my request. I would not have asked if there had been others in line so hubs was lucky this trip. They also had ready to eat items, stuffed cabbage (as my family calls pigs in the blanket), ribs, mac and cheese. Oh, I almost forgot, egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad. For some reason going in Chief's feels like stopping by to see a family friend or something. Since this covid uncertainty it is always assuring to smell the fresh popped popcorn when entering, then the smell of fruits, baked chicken, bakery items to name but a few. I so believe they have yummy smell scents piped throughout the store. Their meats are above average and I am picky when it comes to meat. From presentation to prices, Chief's is the place to go. They are offering mobile shopping now, however I have not used it since we enjoy going in and shopping. All of their employees are helpful, safely wearing masks and I always see them sanitizing so it is a very safe, clean and proactive store.

Like their fruit and meat way better than Walmart. Miss seeing Doug at the checkout. The older clerks are way more understanding of seniors in the community. They don't seem to train their check out young people very well. Last time I was there they put everything I bought in one bag. I know I should have said something but just attempted to get it to my car without the bag breaking.

This is a really quaint vegan restaurant and bake shop. The staff are super nice and very helpful…read more I only tried their baked goods, but they have a nice selection of vegan breakfast items, sandwiches, and wraps. Their baked goods are really good, whether you're vegan or not. And they seem to use almost all local suppliers. There are a few tables inside and a few more outside.

While passing through town, we stopped off for a bite at Season's Eatings and it is probably the best decision I've made all year. It was hard to choose what to eat, so we each got two sandwiches. I had the broccoli and quinoa burger topped with Robin's special sauce (she described it "like Thousand Island, but better" and I agree) and the Reuben. My friend had the egg salad and also got a grilled cheese. The cheese was locally made and you could tell the difference. I'm glad I got two sandwiches because there is no way I could have picked a favorite. Robin also shared that she sources eggs, honey, maple syrup, and whatever else she can locally. It definitely makes a difference. The hummus and veggies were the perfect appetizer to munch on while Robin made our sandwiches. I gotta say, the dill pickle hummus will probably reappear one night in my dreams. So good and so memorable. A couple of other quick hits: the peanut butter cookie (with PB frosting!) and a cup of Dandy Blend to wash it down. I also love that she serves filtered water and offers a variety of alternative drinks like kombucha and tumeric drinks. I might not be passing through Napoleon anytime soon, but I might make a special trip just to eat here again!
