They are more of an overstock place than a dollar store, also a lot of things there are very expensive so don't view it as a dollar/discount store either in that way. However, the prices are all reasonable. My favorite thing about this store though is that it is - sadly, though luckily it's here now - the closest thing to a book store in the entire city of Defiance as far as I'm aware. They don't have a massive selection and most of the "books" are more coffee table style stuff, but personally I like that kind of thing. They have game books (crossword, sudoku, etc), coffee table books (I got one about Chevy trucks), cookbooks, and so on. A good reminder we do need an actual book store in town when a bargain store is the closest you can get, but for now this will do.

I decided to give this a place a visit just because I saw a pop up when I was looking for a nearby…read morebin store. I was excited because it seemed like they had quite a variety of different things. After walking around the store, I realize that most of the items are very overpriced for a discount retailer. Some items are retailing for higher than the prices that you would see at your local superstore. One item if you look at my picture is a Nerf toy, which is somehow retailing for more than the MSRP, unless I'm reading the labels in reverse, but you can look for yourself. It's kind of interesting seeing what comes through the shop however with these very high prices, it's very hard to find anything. That's a good deal. As others mention, most of the food is expired, which should net a heavy discount, but I don't see it reflected in the prices. If you're looking for someplace to walk around, this is a great place to cruise, but I don't think there's a lot of of good hidden deals here to be found.
