Kings Floor & Furniture Outlet - Awful!!! Look at the gap!!!

When we first walked into Kings flooring in Defiance Ohio we were greeted by a nice gentleman named…read morePete. Super nice guy helped us find what we wanted...Congoleum grouted flooring. We got estimates for them doing the install and all the flooring and T mold/transition piece accessories. They said if we paid in full there was a 10% discount so we happily paid in full. Then Covid happened which pushed stuff back-which was out of their control. Once the flooring came in beginning of April we were set up for install. Installation was to take 2 days, no big deal. Well the install is where is all went down hill....#1 they didn't grout the floor AT ALL which we PAID for the grout and the extra install time for! #2 they didn't send the T molds to transition from our hardwood floors and to the bathroom. Which left an unsightly appearance, not to mention a place to stub your toes. #3 He didn't caulk around the sliding glass door. The lady Jennifer when we called to complain was ruder than rude!(and she was rude every time we called!) The owner dodged our phone calls then Pete came and looked and said that the TMolds were ordered...2 weeks and they came in...only for when the installer to come back and they weren't TMolds but flat pieces...that you can't use to transition from a higher floor to a lower floor! And he STILL didn't caulk around the door!! I am beside myself at the unfinished flooring! Now we wait to see what happens now as the owner Mark states he will call us by the end of the day and will try to have them overnighted and fixed by the end of the week!! Never again would I use or recommend Kings Flooring from Defiance Ohio!! The installer was awful, the owner Mark avoided our calls and made promises to call back and didn't, and Jennifer was just plain rude!

I wanted my 800th review on Yelp to be special, so i chose to save it for my favorite store in…read moretown: Elite Interiors. I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place! If you need new decor for your home... come here! If you need an awesome interior designer... call Joanne! I am so thankful that u stumbled onto this incredible business during the chocolate walk!

Good afternoon, I…read moream submitting this review because the experience at the Defiance, OH Walmart raises significant concerns about pricing accuracy and compliance with Walmart's published policies. On December 6th, my husband attempted to purchase a LEGO set that was clearly marked on sale throughout the toy department and was still listed at that same sale price on Walmart.com. However, the item rang up at full price. When assistance was requested, the associate who responded -- Robert, identifying himself as the "Up Front Coach" -- stated that although the set had been on sale, the sale "ended earlier that morning," and he refused to honor the price shown both in the store and online. When my husband pointed out that the sale signage remained posted and the Walmart.com price was still active, Robert stated that "Walmart does not honor its online pricing in-store." This directly contradicts Walmart's own corporate price-match policy, which states that stores will match the price of identical items advertised on Walmart.com. Please see the attached screenshots taken on the same day as this interaction. Beyond the inconvenience, this situation raises a more serious concern: If an item is advertised at one price online and on in-store signage, but scanned at a higher price at the register -- and leadership refuses to honor either advertised price -- this creates the appearance of non-compliant pricing practices. Whether intentional or due to lack of training, this is a significant issue that warrants immediate review. Customers should never encounter conflicting pricing information, particularly when a store leader provides inaccurate explanations of policy. The interaction itself was dismissive and unprofessional, but the larger issue is the breakdown in adherence to Walmart's own pricing and policy standards. When an "Up Front Coach" provides incorrect information and refuses to follow posted and advertised pricing, it undermines trust and may expose the store to avoidable pricing compliance concerns. Ongoing issues had led us to cancel our Walmart+ membership previously, and now it appears that we'll be doing our shopping as a whole elsewhere. I also emailed Walmart Corporate for review of the following for the Defiance, Ohio location to look into their: Training and policy knowledge for front-end leadership Compliance with posted and online pricing Removal of outdated or inaccurate signage Correct application of Walmart's price-match policy I requested follow-up communication regarding the steps taken to address this issue when it first occurred, but I wasn't even given the courtesy of an acknowledgement that my email was received. Customers should be able to rely on Walmart to ensure accurate and transparent pricing -- and to have store leadership that understands and upholds corporate policy. Yet, it seems that customer service has been thrown out the window. All I can say is Buyer Beware..... I believe their employee's actions and Walmart's lack of response says it all.

My feelings on this place have changed dramatically over the past year. While I loved getting…read moredelivery from here and all that, it's now somewhere I can't trust and where it is a huge pain in the ass when you need customer service. Every single delivery grocery order I've gotten in the past year has come with multiple expired items - not by a day or two, I'm talking milk and bread that are dated as best buy / eat by TWO FULL MONTHS PRIOR and rotten veg as well. On top of that, anything you get canned is completely bashed to hell which is HIGH RISK of botulism with how just insanely crushed and dented these things are. Otherwise they tend to just have nothing in stock and the employees seem incapable of choosing basic things to replace your items with if you order, say, "Made up chip brand 10oz" they will NOT think to replace it (even if you have substitutions ON for the item) with "Made up chip brand 9oz", instead you get nothing. The biggest problem truly is in the rotten and expired food though, especially because if you bother coming in to return/exchange it becomes even worse. Nearly EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ordered groceries from here in the past 12 months I've had to go in to the store to customer support and then spend OVER AN HOUR EACH TIME to simply get replacements with the same items. It is INSANE and the staff are completely delusional about their standing in life. I'm super polite and kind and don't even complain or groan about the issue, I smile and be nice, but they act like they are just 'above' doing anything for the customer, like you're asking the CEO to do it or something. These minimum wage high school dropouts really feel like it's okay to be a jerk when they can't even manage to replace "Milk" with "Milk" in under 90 minutes. It's disgusting. The non-grocery departments aren't any better. I've come here looking for some basic vehicle items I needed to replace (which walmart carries in all their stores, including this one) and asked one of the employees working near the service department for help finding the items only to be told they didn't care and it wasn't really their problem. Don't shop here, not in person and not online, unless there are some items that are absolutely unavailable everywhere else in town. The prices aren't even competitive anymore anyway, so there's really no reason to choose one of the most disliked chain companies when it comes to groceries in the country.
