Lots of priced VHS. I wouldn't say there were a ton of deals but def worth a trip to this mall to…read moretake a look. An odd amount of UFO related material here haha. Lots of physical media to go through. They were blasting some hair metal but occasionally were play testing other music just as loud simultaneously... Scrambled my brain a little bit but what else would you expect from a record store in an old mall? If you like to collect things this would be a good stop for you- tons of stock.

This is a store focused on older media such as CDs, cassettes, records, VHS tapes, DVDs, and so on…read morewith a huge selection of almost all of that (especially music and VHS tapes). They also have current music including some that is a little harder to come by sometimes (and some very niche stuff as well), some anime and manga, and various other things and collectibles (i.e. band shirts, figurines). The staff is nice enough, the location is now much bigger than it used to be as well as they moved to another spot in the mall across from where they had been, and the prices can vary from really good to very marked up. If you are a collector and want authentic stuff be warned they do have a lot of bootleg DVDs mostly when it comes to anime and television shows specifically. If the owners/staff disagree with this then I apologize, I do not mean to defame or damage your business - this is strictly my personal opinion as a fan collector of these things with decades of my own research that I personally believe, NOT a factual proven statement from an authority on the subject, and readers of this review can and should take this as nothing more than the view of an unofficial fan purchaser who could be completely mistaken. My other, and probably biggest issue, is that they had marijuana stuff for sale next to a rack of children's Disney movies. Perhaps it won't stay that way (and possibly has even been removed/moved by now), but they were both on solid fixtures and out for sale near the back of the store. I have a problem with this stuff being in the store at all to begin with (and am not sure it's even entirely legal to have in Ohio for sale in a store like that), but it's really irresponsible and distasteful to have it next to what kids would be interested in and makes me question the owners decisions. If you bring your children just keep an eye on them the whole time so they don't have to see this stuff or get a chance to interact with it. While I point out two negatives that may be big depending on you personally, I still actually really like this place and the staff are, again, very nice so I don't wish to discourage people from visiting. There's a lot of cool items, a lot of rare items, a lot of popular typical things you'd expect...and all of it is bundled up in a store straight out of the mid 90s - a type of store I, personally, really miss. I wish the best for them and will, even with said issues, keep coming back and absolutely recommend checking it out if you're ever at the mall.

Good afternoon, I…read moream submitting this review because the experience at the Defiance, OH Walmart raises significant concerns about pricing accuracy and compliance with Walmart's published policies. On December 6th, my husband attempted to purchase a LEGO set that was clearly marked on sale throughout the toy department and was still listed at that same sale price on Walmart.com. However, the item rang up at full price. When assistance was requested, the associate who responded -- Robert, identifying himself as the "Up Front Coach" -- stated that although the set had been on sale, the sale "ended earlier that morning," and he refused to honor the price shown both in the store and online. When my husband pointed out that the sale signage remained posted and the Walmart.com price was still active, Robert stated that "Walmart does not honor its online pricing in-store." This directly contradicts Walmart's own corporate price-match policy, which states that stores will match the price of identical items advertised on Walmart.com. Please see the attached screenshots taken on the same day as this interaction. Beyond the inconvenience, this situation raises a more serious concern: If an item is advertised at one price online and on in-store signage, but scanned at a higher price at the register -- and leadership refuses to honor either advertised price -- this creates the appearance of non-compliant pricing practices. Whether intentional or due to lack of training, this is a significant issue that warrants immediate review. Customers should never encounter conflicting pricing information, particularly when a store leader provides inaccurate explanations of policy. The interaction itself was dismissive and unprofessional, but the larger issue is the breakdown in adherence to Walmart's own pricing and policy standards. When an "Up Front Coach" provides incorrect information and refuses to follow posted and advertised pricing, it undermines trust and may expose the store to avoidable pricing compliance concerns. Ongoing issues had led us to cancel our Walmart+ membership previously, and now it appears that we'll be doing our shopping as a whole elsewhere. I also emailed Walmart Corporate for review of the following for the Defiance, Ohio location to look into their: Training and policy knowledge for front-end leadership Compliance with posted and online pricing Removal of outdated or inaccurate signage Correct application of Walmart's price-match policy I requested follow-up communication regarding the steps taken to address this issue when it first occurred, but I wasn't even given the courtesy of an acknowledgement that my email was received. Customers should be able to rely on Walmart to ensure accurate and transparent pricing -- and to have store leadership that understands and upholds corporate policy. Yet, it seems that customer service has been thrown out the window. All I can say is Buyer Beware..... I believe their employee's actions and Walmart's lack of response says it all.

My feelings on this place have changed dramatically over the past year. While I loved getting…read moredelivery from here and all that, it's now somewhere I can't trust and where it is a huge pain in the ass when you need customer service. Every single delivery grocery order I've gotten in the past year has come with multiple expired items - not by a day or two, I'm talking milk and bread that are dated as best buy / eat by TWO FULL MONTHS PRIOR and rotten veg as well. On top of that, anything you get canned is completely bashed to hell which is HIGH RISK of botulism with how just insanely crushed and dented these things are. Otherwise they tend to just have nothing in stock and the employees seem incapable of choosing basic things to replace your items with if you order, say, "Made up chip brand 10oz" they will NOT think to replace it (even if you have substitutions ON for the item) with "Made up chip brand 9oz", instead you get nothing. The biggest problem truly is in the rotten and expired food though, especially because if you bother coming in to return/exchange it becomes even worse. Nearly EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ordered groceries from here in the past 12 months I've had to go in to the store to customer support and then spend OVER AN HOUR EACH TIME to simply get replacements with the same items. It is INSANE and the staff are completely delusional about their standing in life. I'm super polite and kind and don't even complain or groan about the issue, I smile and be nice, but they act like they are just 'above' doing anything for the customer, like you're asking the CEO to do it or something. These minimum wage high school dropouts really feel like it's okay to be a jerk when they can't even manage to replace "Milk" with "Milk" in under 90 minutes. It's disgusting. The non-grocery departments aren't any better. I've come here looking for some basic vehicle items I needed to replace (which walmart carries in all their stores, including this one) and asked one of the employees working near the service department for help finding the items only to be told they didn't care and it wasn't really their problem. Don't shop here, not in person and not online, unless there are some items that are absolutely unavailable everywhere else in town. The prices aren't even competitive anymore anyway, so there's really no reason to choose one of the most disliked chain companies when it comes to groceries in the country.
