This Walmart had the longest lines. The customer at the head of my line took 30 minutes to check out. Something just ain't right there.

So I went in to the TLE in Nampa on 12th Ave one morning at 7AM. On my way to take my kids to school I noticed I had a bolt in my tire. I looked up Walmart and seen they open at 7AM. I checked in my car and was told it could be an hour wait. I had to wait as I couldn't drive to work with a bolt in my tire. Well after 2 hours they called me and said they couldn't repair the tire, he said my tread was to low. Being a little aggravated I told him,"you're telling me you've had my car for two hrs and haven't done anything". He said I could replace the tire, I asked him how long it would take as I'm now 2hrs late for work! He stated that he didn't have the tires in stock. Out off anger I told him just forget it I will take my car to someone competent. When I went back to get my keys I asked him if they at least put air in the tire as I had to drive to Boise with a bolt in my tire. He said yes so I asked him if they really put air or was he just trying to get me out? He then said you know what we're not putting air in your tire. I think this guy is a manager his name is Brayden Hill. I think he could've been a little more empathetic to the situation. I've worked with customers for the last 22yrs and would never treat my customers this way. But not even an apology for causing me to be be 2hrs late. End of story, I took it to big O and the guy told me my tread was fine, he even did the repair for free. After I told him my Walmart story!!! read more

This is a Walmart super center which means there's food, clothes, toys, personal care items, & some tools. I saw some swim suits on sale for $2. This Walmart doesn't have a lot stocked up like cucumbers were not a lot in the bin. Also not a lot of tomatoes. There is a Burger King attached to the walmart inside. If I could give this rating to a specific young male employee (might be a manager) who assisted me around 9:15 p.m., because of his assistance I am posting this review without reservation. I won't go into detail to describe the experience, however, I will briefly state that this associate or manager went above and beyond to assist me as a customer. I normally avoid Walmart on 12th avenue for many reasons I will not go into on this review. My experience last evening has impacted view on shopping at this Walmart. One of the dirtiest, poorly organized, down-right disgusting stores I have ever been in. There's a reason I have not shopped a WalMart in years, today capped it. The toy department is a complete mess and employees stocking items don't even care to straighten up the mess. They look and act like brainless drones and won't even look up or offer assistance. Saw groups of teenagers tearing up merchandise, there should have been a manager on staff that would care enough to kick them out of the store. It's very obvious why no one wants to work at this location. I will continue buying my needs at Fred Meyer or Target as they actually CARE!! Add 12th to the list of shuttering stores, truly NO ONE would miss it. This location is a disgrace to every department store in the country!! I'll give Walmart 1 star because they really do have just about anything you could possibly need and the fact that the people here are generally friendly. However it's only a 1 star because this store is disgusting. Everything is always a mess, everything always looks so dirty. I feel like I need a shower whenever I leave this place. Also, the lines are always insanely long. You'd think that since this is ALWAYS the case that they would schedule more people so that more registers can be opened. Seems pretty simple to me. My wallet went missing from my cart. I reported it. The wallet was eventually retrieved from the employee break room without the $80 in cash. I will never feel safe shopping here again. They lied to me, first by saying that they could not view the observation tapes without the police there and then by saying that they had already looked at the tapes and not found anything. Walmart is becoming a huge joke. I work a full time job and have desire to check out myself. Only problem is Walmart is trying to go to ALL self checkout. Every time we go into this location there are maybe two checkers, with no less the 15 full carts in in line. So you either wait for forty minutes, or you do self checkout. As the stars suggest, this is an A-OK Wally World. It always seems to be my first stop as soon as I roll into town from the airport because they have the perishable items I need for a successful week in Nampa. I'm glad I know the store well and where to find most things although they recently remodeled the place. I can always count on friendly-enough clerks to help me along the way in case I get stuck. It also helps it's very near the homebase I use for a week or so. This last time in Nampa I think I checked in here a total of 5 times the whole trip, seems like that's more than usual but I am not ashamed! read more

Ok, so I have this thing about scooters. Just thinking about them gives me the uncontrollable urge to do unholy things. This is where the problem arises. I was shopping for the usual items, and I remembered that my 2nd youngest son was having his birthday this weekend. So, being the good father that I am, I headed over to the toy isle. Everything was going fine. I had a toy for my son, and I was on semi good terms with the wife. Thats when it all happened. My eyes met with the large selection of scooters all over the wall. I couldnt contain myself. By the time security could stop me, I had one of the scooters on display so far up my ass, it had to be surgically removed. Unbelievable, apparently they have changed all their systems to where they no longer accept credit cards unless you want to go wait for 30 min in one of the "2", that's right "2" lanes for the entire store that still have a person working at the check out. Not one of the two different clerks that came over to help me even knew how their new system worked they both just told me Walmart no longer accepted credit in the self checkout??? It's bad enough at this store when you can't drive down some of the isles in the parking lot because there are 80 blocking them. Or when you ask a associate where something is, they never have a clue. Or the isles in the store you cant push a cart down because they have nine kids merchandising the same isle, and when you say excuse me they can't hear you as they all have earbuds in, same as when you ask for assistance. This place needs a competent manager sooo bad, as this store has reached extraordinary levels of incompetence. read more

Ever time I came here to print off pictures they loose the pictures. This is the second time in two days we have printed pitchers and the last time we came here they handed our pictures to the wrong customers. I don't like my personal pictures going to someone that I don't know that is invasion of my privacy the pictures are not inappropriate but that's not the point. After waiting an hour for them to look for my pictures I finally had to go to the kiosk and reprint them. Walmart get you stuff together or find new management. And I don't think they know how to pick up grocery carts there between every single car. And I'm not a fan of geting my car paint scratches. Please Walmart try harder. read more

this store needs new management and new people, they've been stocking people across the store who are doing nothing wrong and accusing them of stealing or not paying for items that were clearly paid for even by receipt, they stopped me in my six month pregnant fiancé because my poor fiancé forgot to pay for the drinks that we had. They stopped us and put us in an interrogation room and treated us with disrespect which by no means by any law is it right to put anyone in an interrogation room, I'm talking they stopped us and forced us to get into the room that was extremely small, This place is not a family friendly place. I and several of my family members will not be returning to this Walmart ever because of how we were treated, and let their little theft prevention girl know we're gonna expose you, you got a problem with that you'll be hearing from my lawyer. I brought an old 2005 maxima in for a, what we thought was a simple battery replacement. The car was a pain to deal with but Erik And Gino in the automotive department not only maintained composure, but they listened to me with great empathy and we came to a solid solution. I know its just a battery replacement but I remember these guys worked on my mustang as well with the same exceptional customer service. These two guys, Erik and Gino consistently deliver and deserve some recognition. Kudos to Walmart for hiring two exceptional employees. read more

People working in the deli always seem to hide or make sure they're in the back room away from customers who actually want to buy deli meat. I'm not sure why management finds this acceptable and doesn't want the added revenues. When I was able to get someone's help, the cheese slicer was broken. It was 9 am and I guess they weren't planning on selling cheese all day either. Ugh! I shop at Winco where their deli staff is always happy to help people and available at the deli counter, where they should be. read more

Worst service possible. Doesn't even deserve a star. Went into wal mart to purchase a few things for dinner, hit the self check out as i always do seeing as how i can check them myself faster then waiting in line. After i was done scanning my purchase i put my card into the reader and an employee came over and "finished" my screen questions for me then proceeded to tell me about how i needed to do the credit card machine. Ya think?? Really i thought it did that by itself. After complete if my purchase and taking my receipt to head towards the door another employee by the name of Shelly came over and asked for my receipt i had no problem giving it to her, but then i asked as she was going through literally all 5 of my bags what the purpose of this was, and her response was "we do randoms" i then asked for her name to clarify that it was Shelly, she agreed, so i went to take my receipt and she wouldn't give it to me, so it ripped in half, she then put her foot under my back wheel so i couldn't leave i went to lift the cart over her foot, managed to do so and then turned to pick up my toddler, and when i turned back around this Shelly person had taken two bags out of my cart and refused to let me leave until she had seen that i "purchased" my milk. Upon getting my bags back being that i had already paid for everything therefore making them my property. She told me not to come back. Yea Walmart you have some grade A employees, NOT! Not to worry i called and talked to Brett the store manager who assured me this was not her job and that randoms are not performed and under no circumstance should a teller employee be disabling to a leaving customer, and that he would be looking in it. As her job is to Help guide customers where to go Help with technical errors on the computers Get over ride codes Assist those who need help with ringing things up. This store is terrible. It's ALWAY'S out of the things I buy. I was in the store tonight and had to stop my shopping and head to Albertsons across the street because they were out of 6 things I wanted in just the frozen food area alone. I've noticed a huge decline in being in stock and customer service. I paid a little more tonight at Albertsons BUT it always has the stuff I buy, and the help is way better.
