I had my entire prescription load transferred to another family owned pharmacy in town and it took my new pharmacy 3 days to accomplish the task. Why did it take so long you ask? Walgreens treated my new pharmacy horribly, they told me. It's the Walgreens way, I told them. For the remainder of my life, I'll never ever step foot into another Walgreens. It's a crappy corporation and they must treat their employees like shit because they treat their customers like shit. New employees come in and those same employees quit pretty damn fast. Just as soon as you get a rapport with one of their staffers there, they quit! That says it all to me. Their drive-thru is consistently broken, their employees consistently call out sick and they are constantly out of my medication. I hope this Walgreens looses every customer they have one day. Every pharmacy employee there deserves to be fired!!! 2.2 star rating? That's completely and utterly embarrassing for a large corporate pharmacy.

They could've taken an extra two minutes to answer a question for my son's medication. And still been on time for their lunch break.

A web search directed me to CVS and I then proceeded to make an appointment using their on-line scheduling website which had me fill out all of my personal and insurance information (it took a bit of time; but I figured they were being cautious to cover their bases). I even got a text confirming my appointment. So far, so good. Then we drove 20 minutes to the Nampa location (closest one that the website offered). Then we waited to check in for about 15 minutes because 1 person was handling a long line picking up prescriptions and another person was on his phone. Finally someone came over to check us in for vaccines. After requesting my Medicare card AND insurance card (which I had previously entered on-line), she tells me that there is a problem with coverage. Needed pre-approval. Was not very helpful. Also said I could pay cash price if I wanted to get it now. Later said she was very busy and couldn't help us anyway. Why would the website even give me an appointment after collecting all my data and then the store didn't honor it?! If they are short-staffed, the website should be adjusted accordingly.
