The lines often…read morespan half the store, they rarely answer the phone, and the drive through is randomly but rather consistently closed. This has persisted for more than a year and a half. Understaffing, mismanagement, crisis, alternate reality? It's unclear what could create such a longterm and catastrophic dysfunction. Orders are never available when promised, resulting in multiple in-person trips. You can't call ahead to check if an order is ready because they don't answer the phone. They don't update the online system timely either. Perhaps due to the location, many of the clientele appear to be experiencing challenges. Lots of severely ill individuals coughing, pacing, and hovering inches from nearby patrons, waiting anxiously for medications. There are spacing stickers on the floor. But they're not enforced or observed. Someone in line requested substance addiction-related medications and was told it will take two weeks to fill the prescription at this pharmacy, resulting in a scene with lots of foul language. TWO WEEKS for what is apparently a critical time sensitive medication. As for me, when I left, the line was 20+. Waited for over 25 minutes and walked out without my order because they claim they didn't receive the order, despite confirming with my doctor's office on the way to the pharmacy. Time to switch pharmacies! Trust me, no matter how convenient this pharmacy is as far as location, you will still come out behind due to multiple trips and long waits and people coughing on the back of your neck. I have some sympathy for the employees who staff this pharmacy and have to deal with a constant flow of disgruntled desperate clients.

I'm a sucker for old buildings, basically anything that has some kind of nostalgia to it, I absolutely LOVE. I wish I would have gone in here tho before they remodeled it. I would have preferred it stay the original way because it's always fun to step into a time capsule. You still kind of do regardless because this building has been there for a min lol. You walk in and for me, was immediately surprised to see a store that had the "open concept" that everyone is so UNBELIEVABLY obsessed with when it comes to their homes. Honestly, the open concept is not creative, unoriginal, has HGTV written all over it and I wish people would just come up with their own ideas for their homes/businesses vs seeing some tacky trend they see on HGTV. That being said, I don't really tie all that in with this store. I mean, I'm sure the open concept trend definitely influenced their decision to do this store like that. This store is still great tho, don't get me wrong. I love it. It's one place that gets a pass for open concept lol. THANK GOD tho they didn't do everything in gray and white hahaha! If they did, I'd probably skip writing a review for this place. I haaaaaaate the gray and white trend. Stop it already!!! Hahahaha! This store is very spread out, very airy, you don't feel boxed in at all when walking the aisle's. They are wide enough to where a few people can be in them and you wouldn't get all claustrophobic. I have serious issues with claustrophobia. I pass out at concerts if there are too many people boxing me in lol. First time was 1995 at a Green Day concert. First time I felt claustrophobic and BAM! I was out! They thought I was on drugs and was about to kick me out lol. Anyway! Way off topic! I tend to do that tho. Nothing new. The layout is interesting. You walk in and all the makeup, basic necessities type stuff is right up front and the grocery stuff is in the back. I assume the makeup and stuff is up front because this store is located downtown area and theft is probably an issue. Prices are high here. Then again, they are pretty much everywhere. However, $2.29!!! TWO DOLLARS AND TWENTY. NINE. CENTS! for a thing of Tic Tacs!! HELL. NOOOOO! That is unbelievably INSANE! Some embarrassing truth here lol. Neutrogena had these exfoliating pad things. They're impossible to find. I checked their website, sold out, but the locator said this store had them. So I thought I'd surprise my roommate and get them. I was downtown for a fitness class and decided to FINALLY go in here. If I'm being honest too, these exfoliating pad things I wanted for myself, too because they're amazing lol. Locator said this store had them. I probably should have gone that day but waited until the day of the class, like a day or two. Of course, they weren't there. Tbh too, I didn't even see a tag for them. Made me sad. Now I'm just stuck mobbing around looking like an old alcoholic bag lady because I can't buff out my old ass face (Siiiiiigggghhh) hahahahaha! I don't look THAT bad tho haha! If anything, this store and it's history is what does it for me. I love it. I hope we always have it here in Boise. I think back in the day it was a Safeway? Anyone know for sure? Because we ain't got sh__t for Safeways in Boise now lol. Didn't really interact with employees. There were a few there but they have quite a few self-checkouts. Love or hate those things, they're convenient as hell. This stores are newer and super easy to use especially if people are buying food. That seems to be a complaint for most with self-checkouts. Mountain Care Pharmacy website doesn't show any way to set up an account, even to find out the…read moreamount owed, what my prescriptions are, or status of prescription ordered by Dr. We have specifically asked not to have auto-fill, and yet I receive a delivery of all prescriptions, even those I no longer am taking. I have had an outstanding prescription/order for blood glucose testing, my prescription insurance is wanting to know if the supplies have been sent and it had been THREE MONTHS. To top it all off I have been waiting for over ONE MONTH to have my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy - but what I get is another set of prescriptions. To say I am not pleased with any facet of this business is an understatement. Even phone calls do not get results.

The formulation is making most 3x more nauseated at the same dose. Most are struggling with big constipation issues that were never there before. Finally the new pen dosage is calculated differently and when asked what our dosage is with the pen we are told to ask our Dr - very few of our drs are keeping up on what dose we are on but we do tell Mountain Care at each refill if we want to stay the same or go up or down... so why is that information not on the label when we get the shot? Honestly, no one is happy and everyone is starting to bail on this place. I loved it until the new year but this new formulation and roll out was HORRIBLE.

Each time I visit the pharmacy, Danielle is extremely rude and provides very poor customer service. She often talks and ignores customers waiting at the pickup window. There have been several occasions when she has walked past the line of waiting patients, seen us standing there, and turned away to continue talking instead of helping. When she does assist me, her behavior is disrespectful. She has waved her wrist around while saying "hello" in a mocking tone, and when I provide my date of birth, she sarcastically says, "What is this, some kind of cheer?" Additionally, she frequently yells at other staff members and displays a consistently negative attitude. This type of conduct creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment for both customers and employees. As the lead technician, Danielle should be setting a professional example, not discouraging patients from returning. Albertsons can and should do better in selecting and training its pharmacy leaders. Both customers and staff deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. All the staff that I have interacted with have been pleasant and professional. I'm slowly trying to learn all of their names, but I can highly recommend working with Keyra, Colleen, Brittney, Malia, Ryan, and Sara. All of them have always offered me a bright smile, a friendly hello, and quick service.

I had exceptional care here during my heart loop monitor procedure. (Also known as an ILR). I had the newer (bigger & longer) Abbott version inserted... so not only did I have my heart Dr & dedicated nurse the whole time, there was also 2 Abbott Lab medical reps & even an additional medical staff member during most of the procedure. They handled my ridiculous level of allergies & autoimmune challenges fabulously & because of the perfection of all involved- I healed quickly & fully... flying out on a family trip just a week later. Now my insur is fighting on paying the bill, but that's the jerk insur co, not this fab hospital. I'd absolutely go here again if needed!
