I'll make this quick. At around 3:30p this afternoon, I was in the self-checkout making 2 purchases (for my mother & I) with a total of 3 items each. Items were very visible because the cart was not even full. I initially asked a salesperson in the area, if they had a large bag; they did not. So I squeezed a small bag on top of the box for the 1st purchase. I then retrieved the receipt. I began the 2nd purchase (2 windshield wipers) and as I reached for the 3rd item, an older woman around late 50's - 60ish years old approached me. She said, "Oh, I see you're buying Michelin windshield wipers." even though the brand wasn't clearly visible because I had already bagged it. I responded, "Yes..." & also mentioned I looked for one for a Rogue for my mother. I noticed she had an item in her hand, like a phone, with a list of items. Anyhoo, this is getting too long; this woman had the audacity to ask me if I had purchased the already bagged items in my cart and looked over my other purchases. I said, "Yes...", showed her the receipt and asked if I would have to show it again before I left. She told me I would. TWICE I asked if there was a problem. She said there wasn't, yet she stood and watched me purchase the other set. She had been watching me the entire time, so she saw me pay for and receive the receipt. I almost said to her, "You should have waited until I left the store to accuse me of shoplifting, that way we both would have gotten something. Your false accusation and embarrassment; and my lawsuit." The store manager will hear from me and I don't think I'll ever return. I was the only customer she questioned. The 1 star is because I was able to get what I needed. read more

Multiple times my partner and I get yelled by the "door greeters" accusing us of stealing a pack of coke or a box of kleenex. They openly embarrass and harass paying customers. This location has a serious problem with harassing customers like my partner and I as thieves when we refuse to show our receipt. As a corporation they have plenty of cameras at the self-serve checkout to see for themselves if I steal. I AM NOT A THEIF to steal kleenex for my partner's severe allergies. I only shop here to get the lotion plus kleenex for my partner, nothing more. We mostly shop at Aldi now because they are kind people and have way better prices than this location. I do not have to show my receipt and stop what I'm doing because some $15 an hour "door greeter" accusing us and harassing us as thieves. I used to be a personal shopper at a different location nearby, so I am well aware they CANNOT yell, chase, or stop me for my receipt. Walmart better look into their positions and review their code of ethics for their door greeters because they are completely disrespectful and out of line. They really make door greeters look like a stain of the company as shameful and a disgraceful position. read more

Avoid this location. Team Leads and Managers are Horrible. Spent 34 minutes on hold ove three calls, each time they say, they will get someone and they never did. Purchased tires and warranty at this location, but they did not enter the information into the system. So I am at another Walmart location paying for warranty service sine they could not be bothered to answer the calls and address the issue. The team lead did say the Warranty was only valid at their location. They have no idea, go to Kirk Road Location, they are professional and ensure everything is in the system. read more

The Auto Center did not know how to do a simple oil change on my 2018 Ford F-150. It's the standard XLT model with no modifications. It's like, every 3rd truck you see driving down the road. They said they just didn't know how to do it. However, I waited for an hour before they told me. They handed me my keys back with no apology and just said it's simply beyond their capabilities. To reiterate, this was for an oil change. The customer before me left because the techs didn't know how to open the hood of her car. I'm just stating facts. Nothing I said above is my opinion - it's what happened. read more

Went to get my fishing license. As we were losing daylight, I waited for 10 minutes at the counter with no one in sight. I called the store TWICE to page someone to fishing. I couldn't even find someone from another department! They finally paged Kevin, but when I didn't see him, I finally saw another person, Eric, who told me he didn't know who Kevin was...then Kevin walked up and they talked like old friends...so friends and first sight? Kevin said he didnt answer because he wasnt signed into the register -- so instead he just let customers wait for 20 minutes?! He continued to complain the whole time about how much he hates his job and management. Really weird, and odd way to interact with a customer. he accidentally charged me 15x the cost, then complained about having to correct it. If Kevin can't cope with walmart, I'm not sure how he'll ever get a real job. read more

First time ever to buy groceries online and do a pick up. Awesome efficient process. I missed my original selected pick up time yesterday due to a busy schedule and they said it was not uncommon. I was able to check in later today and as I pulled up, the app was able to notify my arrival. I simply selected my parking spot and entered my car color. BOOM. The groceries were delivered after verification. And then I drove off . It was that simple. I will definitely use Walmart grocery online service again. read more

I visited this store unplanned, which was really interesting because I ended up having a good experience and I was also able to buy a lot of good things, including groceries and other items. This store is located literally near the spot where I parked my car after I did something near that area and I saw this store. I then decided to check it out. The whole place was a bit busy, but it was not really too busy, and the line at the counter was also not that long. I first grabbed the grocery items that I needed. The selection of them is so nice. Everything is well organized. The stocks seem to be fine, although there are products that are almost out of stock and there are also products that are literally out of stock. I just like their selection of a variety of options. The products are fresh, as is their produce. I also checked the clearance in their department section and I am glad that I thought of it because there is so much good stuff in there and it was really a great deal because almost all of the things I bought were the lines I found in their clearance section. The prices here are generally fair and reasonable, especially on their groceries. The employees are also very nice and helpful. The bathroom was also clean, and the whole place was really clean and bright too. read more

Called the Montgomery Walmart to ask if I could exchange something that I got from a baby shower. The phone rang for at least 15-20 minutes until someone picked up. The gentleman I talked to sounded like he hated his job, he was so monotoned and felt like he was annoyed. After the conversation I said thank you and before I could say "you" he hung up...no "ok have a good day" or anything like that, just rudely hung up. Needless to say the service at this Walmart is a hit or miss. I recommend going to the Walmart in Plano. read more

I was at your location around 6:30p on 6/1/18 when shopping in your store I witnessed a family with a crying infant in their cart of course I turned and looked as I did so I watched the man pushing the cart hit the baby in the face twice. I went for help right after I seen it. When I went to your service desk team for help I was told that it was not Walmart's place to do anything to help this baby. If I would have known that you would do nothing to step in and call the police for help and stop the man and women with the baby, until police showed up. I would have taped it and call the police myself making sure the baby would have been safe. Your lack of compassion to step in or to call the police is incomprehensible! So child endangerment is acceptable at Walmart and for your associates. There are many things that annoy me about your service but, this puts the icing on the cake. Sad! read more

I enjoy my neighborhood Walmart! It's so close and the perfect place to find anything I need. Whether it be clothes, snacks, toys, video games you name it! I have been coming to this place for years since they opened it. Unfortunately today I had a bad experience for the first time with the person who greets at the entrance (An ancient with racist profile), he looked at us and stopped us to check our car, we just bought a few things for Christmas decoration. What bothered me is that he only checked us, and then a white-skinned lady with the car full and he just said "have a good day". I think it's very unfair that he's just checking people of color! and those of your race just tell them "have a good day". I do not know if I want to come back to this place again! read more

Not gonna lie, but Walmart is always going to be the #1 grocery store for any product. If you're in a hurry, then use the speedy self checkout aisles. This establishment is always kept pretty clean, there are really nice and kind employees that are always looking to help, and they have everyday low prices on consumer goods. The managers need to learn some customer service skills. Andre, in the deli, WOW !!! I waited for 30 plus minutes for plain wings to be made. (There wasn't any food placed in the warmer the whole time I stood there). Once, the wings were made. ONLY 3 pounds, the person in front of me took 2 pounds which left a pound for me. Uh, NO !!! I had been told multiple times that they would be ready in a few minutes. I asked for the manager, who wasn't in the department and took about 5 minutes to appear. I explained to him why I was upset. He then told me that " it was Sunday and people eat wings when they watch football". And my response was, "why weren't there more made". He rolled his eyes at me. I then asked to speak to his manager. He radioed for someone then walked away from me He returned a couple minutes later with his manager, Alycia. I explained the situation to her. Her response was to roll her eyes and look past me, which made me more angry. (By, the way, they only have 2 deep fryers). Her solution was to make me some fresh wings. I asked if she was kidding, her response, another eye roll. So 45 minutes later, I get to the check out with melted frozen foods and the gentleman in front of me complaining about the deli also. He was ignored and he only wanted cheese sticks. The cashier, Linda, was wonderful. She let me vent and made this shopping trip better. She double bagged all my melting items. I told her about last weeks trip where the stockers were filling shelves, blocking aisles and having personal conversations with their co-workers making hard to get around. Another bad trip. I do expect common courtesy and to be treated better. If it wasn't for returning (un)happy customers, these people wouldn't have jobs. read more

My review is for the tire and lube department. Worst service I've ever experienced. The actual oil change took a reasonable amount of time. When my car was finished, I waited at the counter for nearly 30 while the associate and technician searched for a manager. Apparently the manager needed to "audit" the service. I could've purchased the supplies, drove home and changed the oil myself in the time it took at the store. And the kicker, the assistant manager didn't address me, did not apologize for the inconvenience or even make eye contact with me. I will NEVER go to Walmart again for any auto service... Today I went to get a battery installed (I know super easy) the guy said it wouldn't take more than 25 minutes and I ended up staying an hour & a half. Right when I got there there was no one in sight- I kept pressing the button for assistance and I even called the department and no one answered. I only come here for essentials and simple grocery shopping. The service is not great in any area (except maybe the electronics area). For one, the customer service desk has rude employees. I understand that they have many difficult customers, but I don't appreciate having hat aggression taken out on me. They did not confirm where my money was going to for my refund, and when I asked she ignored me. I also had issues with the auto center. I called to ask if they take walk ins, and was told yes but he needs to know what kind of tires I have. At the time I had no idea so I suggested I'd just come in and they can check before switching the tires. Apparently this was a huge issue because he told me then that he would not be able to help me. I went to Firestone across the street instead and they were amazing and very pleasant. The cashiers have it hard thanks to rude customers so I understand they can be frustrated at times. However, if other stores can maintain good customer service this should not be an excuse for them. It's also very hard to find help since no one can direct me to the right place when telling me where to find something. read more

Poor customer service. I had a check/coupon from a manufacturer and have used them several times no problem at other stores; but walmart always seems to have issues understanding how to use them. Today, the cashier didn't know how to run it; which i understood because he said he was a newer employeee. He called his css over, who seemed equally confused, and instead of her admitting she didn't know how to run it and trying to get someone who could; she told me she was too busy to help and voided my transaction. How could someone whose job is retail, rather void a transaction than ask one of the other two css's on shift how to run a manufacturer check? After voiding my transaction and walking away, i asked who to store manager was and was informed that they had none; which was a lie. On the receipt it had name, and i went ahead and called Walmart HQ on the incident. I could understand not knowing how to run a company check, but the way the css handled the entire thing after i had already stood line and waited over half an hour was ridiculous. I think i'll just go else where from now on. read more
