Worst experience ever! There's always a crap ton of people there and then the stockers ALWAYS have crap in the aisles. Today same thing of course... Then I was trying to find something so I ask a girl with glasses to help me. I asked her for something. She didn't know what it was so she searched it up in her little hand thing. Then I said no that's not what I was talking about.so I show her a picture and she says oh... We probably don't have that anymore.... Umm well maybe you should CHECK! Then I couldn't find anything I wanted because the store is so UNORGINIZED! Then when I was about to leave I notice the cashiers are just as slow as ever so I just said forget it and left my car full of stuff. NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! Worst customer service ever and LAZY workers! Also the other day I went to return something NO ONE wanted to help in customer service. The lady was all by herself WITH A HUGE LINE! She called for help about 5 or 6 times while I was in line and of course there's a million workers just walking around but NO ONE seems to want to help her! So over this store! read more

Im able to find everything i need and want the prices are fair i guess, but every time i come in there is line after line after line. It takes forever to get anywhere in this store it seems like. The lady's there are all very nice that i have come across been there about 5 times used to cash checks here the lady's there are very nice and talkative with a smile and one of the lady's who stocked shelfs by the shampoo and conditioners helped me out one time after she was done putting something away, but she was so nice. Customer service is a joke. I called today at about 5:00 PM to get connected to the jewelry department. Some lady answered the phone and I told her I wanted to speak to someone in jewelry. She says "okay" and connects me. I spend almost 20 minutes waiting to talk to someone. All of a sudden, the lady who first answered my call said "nobody in the jewelry department is picking up" so I said "okay, why would that be?" and she just brushed me off and hung up. I figured that maybe they were just really busy or had nobody there at the moment. I called again at about 8:15 PM today and before I could even say a word, I was put on hold again. I was waiting for 15 minutes and I got annoyed because I knew for a fact that nobody was trying to connect me so I hung up and called again. This time, some careless sounding girl picked up the phone and I asked to speak to jewelry and she said "okay one moment" and I was stuck waiting again for forever and then all of a sudden, I hear background noise and someone checking out items at the cash register. I'm like "hellooooo??... hellllooooooooo!!!" on the phone but nobody was answering so I hung up and called one more time. At this point, I'm pretty annoyed and when I called again, it went straight to someone from jewelry supposedly. She goes on to tell me that she doesn't know how to work the register, she's the only one there, she doesn't know how to adjust a watch, and that it's against Walmart policy to adjust or fix a watch that wasn't bought from there. What a bunch of lies. How do you work in jewelry and you don't even know how to fix a watch or work the cash register? Big thumbs down. read more

My wife and I are seniors, we contracted the A flue virus. Our doctor called in a prescription for my wife and I. We tested positive for the A flue. I was next in line and there were three people behind me, a Asian man cut to the front of the line, I told him the line was back there and he ignored me and walked right up to the counter, the clerks did nothing and the Asian pharmacist seen what happened. I told the clerk that my wife and I were running fevers and were very contagious. She said it would be about thirty minutes. They left us sitting there for two hours, I finally said enough, and asked them to send my prescription to the Sonora, CA store. She said I would need to contact the Sonora store myself. The pharmacist endangered the health of every person that walked by us. I'm going to forward this experience to ever one I possibly can. I recommend that white people don't use that pharmacy because I'm convinced the pharmacist is a racist. We live over an hour away from Modesto. Reality is I wouldn't trust that pharmacist to fill my orders. Now my wife and I need to go to a store closer to our home and start over. We were in the store from about 4:30 to just a little after 6:30 on Feb, 3, 2017 waiting for our medication. If anyone that was around the pharmacy around that time, and come down with the A flue virus, I would recommend contacting a lawyer. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of treatment, and endangering other people. If we had someone else that could have picked our medication we would have, but we didn't. read more

Terrible service. No one cleans. The men's room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. And there stock is low, I couldn't find most of the items on my shopping list. So, I shop at night. It's the only time I have, plus it beats the crowds. This place has anywhere from 50-100 employees working to restock the store. Its not the giant pallets that are frustrating (although it would be nice if they had put some thought into there placement) Its not the theft prevention people following me around the store wile I shop that chaps my hide, its the wait in line. I am not on the clock. Not being paid to be there. I know it takes time to do a transaction, but seriously. There is 20 open unused registers that can be manned by a plethora of qualified employees. Why then am I to wait 30 min. to an hour in line at 2 or 3am. A time when no one is shopping ( With the exception of the lost prevention people who jump in front of me right before check-out) and all the registers but one are open. Since I shop almost every night, we have spoken about the wait-to which Im told none of the 100+ employees are qualified to open another register, usually by someone who is. Train some people and open more registers. I give you plenty of money and should not have to sacrifice my time to which there is no compensation. Never ever do run in and out. I always get stuck in the longest line or a short one with a problem that needs a CSM and that holds it up for ever. This is a horrible choice for a supper Walmart I heard it was the smallest super Wally's in the area. There is no garden they do not have the same selection or inventory as other Walmart's. Expect Customer service to be below par. Every Wally's I go to customer service is shameful. The CEO should be ashamed of the way his/she trains there employees. All Walmart's I have been to have some of the poorest customer service for a BILLION dollar a year company they can put some effort and act like they care a little about the consumer and employees. If it weren't for these two people Walmart wouldn't be BILLION DOLLAR ANYTHING. From Central Valley to the Bay Area. As long as people keep shopping and spending money and don't say any thing about Wally's World there are still going to treat people like cramp especially the employee who treat the consumer like crap. I know people who worked there and they get paid minimum wage and get worked like dogs. I hate going there because it's the closet store to me or I'm in a rush and Walmart might have what I need I'm stressed out when I go there because long waits or because someone ran past me stealing something or loss prevention is dragging someone back in the store who tried to steal something. Very poor customer service. A few associates are good, but are the minority. They don't care about the customer

It's 11:23 as I begin to write this review, let's see what time it takes to get helped. I am wanting to purchase a multi tool. It is in a locked compartment in the sporting goods section. After mindlessly searching this department I don't find any one working, so I venture into nearby auto care. Of course the person I do find doesn't not work in this department. He does offer to page someone, to no avail. Another employee Dave, walking by sees me waiting and does a little more effort to get me assistance, even involves a manager. They say "someone with the keys is coming"; I wait another 10 minutes and began to write this review. The same employee Dave has walked by again and notices I am still waiting, I can tell in his body language that he is concerned that I am still waiting patiently. Well.. it is approaching 25 minutes. I should have surrendered long ago. Yay Dave does find the keys at 1130. Apparently the the person working this department is on break. Dave just saved a sale and a star. read more

So I ordered 1 picture and had it ordered to pick up. I get there and suprise there is nobody in the photo center. I asked a associate walking by if there was anyone who can help me. She yells for the associate and the associat says well they are going to have to wait because I'm the only one. I know it's not the employees fault it's obviously who makes the schedule. I'm sitting in the photo center patently and then a associate walks up with a customer and starts helping him. Not asking if I needed help. I don't say anything. Then shortly after a associate comes up.and asks "yeah what did you need". Really? I know it's walmart but where the hell is the customer service. This is why I avoid walmart in general at all cost. I just wanted to pick up ONE picture and took over 20 minutes!!!! This just took me over the edge. I would advise to go somewhere else. I will probably go to cvs or even go to the extreme of getting a photo printer. I was getting a flyer made for a work event and was planning on ordering more but now I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

I like this Walmart because it has what I want, things are easy to find , the staff is pleasant and the prices fit my budget.

i rarely go to walmart & the one time i do i'm reminded why i won't be coming again. or at least this location. my sister and i both get off late from work and happened to be in the area so we decided to stop by and pick up some things. it's convenient because it's 24/7, but there are weirdos everywhere who stalk you all the way to your car so be careful. anyway, once we walk in, the first place we head off to is the cosmetic/skin care aisle, noticing that it's all taped off. one of the employees sees we're walking around the area and just when i was about to ask her something she tells us "u can't come in here." i say, "ok. well i already know what i need it's right there, could you grab it? sorry" and you know what? she turns around, purposely scoffs loud enough for both of us to hear, and WALKS AWAY!! my sister and I look @ each other like did that just happen? lol if you don't want to help anyone i don't understand why you're working in customer service??? another employee in the distance saw what happened, proceeded to walk over and asked if i needed any help. she had a heavy accent & could barely speak english but u could tell she was genuine and wanted to apologize on her coworkers behalf. all i needed were makeup sponges which were literally right on the end-cap that i could've easily grabbed myself to avoid this whole situation but didn't want to intrude on anything. but the nicer lady ended up getting it for me and explained she has to put it in the front while we continued to shop. i'm assuming because of theft @ night. at that point i didn't want to stay much longer so we got what we needed and self checked out. but yeah. keep a look out for creeps if you're going late at night, they'll follow you to your car and knock on your window to scare you i would've gave 1 star but the other employee made up for it. too bad i didn't get her name. read more

I went there in the early morning. I found what I wanted easily and did self checkout because I know everything I bought will be there when I leave. Let me start out with if there was zero stars I'd select no star but unfortunately I had to select a star to post on her so let me just say Walmart super center on mchenry was By far the worst costumer service that's I have ever experienced....when your shopping at a store Costumer service is there to provide you service and is not there to hassle you or give you the run around .so long story short it was my 2 year old daughters birthday I had my father go purchase 2 helium tanks so I can decorate for her birthday party on the day of her party I go to unpackaged the tanks and the balloons that are included on the package of the helium tanks I discovered that they were missing so I immediately had to drive to party city to to rent out a helium tank and buy balloons and ribbons from party city , so the fallowing week on my only day off I drive to Modesto from Stockton to Walmart where my father purchased them because Stockton's Walmart said due to the fact they were missing balloons and ribbons I had to take them to the store they were purchased at so I get to Walmart 75 miles later go to costumer service explain the situation they said they had to get a manger witch took about 15-20 minutes he finally showed up and helped the man with the bike before me so when he came to me Jennifer the costumer service associate told the manager what was going on , he asked for recites and because my father bought them I personally didn't have it , the manager I don't re call his name but he looked like a middle aged gang banger sleeves rolled up to his elbows tattoos showing,he accused my father of stealing the tanks because I didn't have the recites so I then subjected if that was case he would of walked out the entrance door with the tanks the manager suggested to look at the cameras to see if my father walked out with the items because I didn't have the recite so he was going to review the camera footage and determine if the helium tanks we're stolen or purchased then asked me what my father looked like so he can determine if my father just walked out or stood in line and payed for them he said it would take a few days for him to review the footage and he'd give me a call so I wrote my name and number on a paper and he had wrote how my father looked and the date I thought he'd purchased them then he said he'd contact me in a few days when he got all his information that he needed.....I will never shop at Walmart again I will suggest to all my family and friends to not shop at Walmart to go to target and shop because targets costumer service is great........ read more

Customer service is a joke! Tried to exchange diapers at 6:15am and was told I would have to wait until 7am when the customer service counter opened. Mind you this is a 24hr Walmart that had zero customers at any of the registers. The manager wearing the light purple sweater was unwilling to help a me. I find it hard to believe that she was promoted to a management position without ever having gained the knowledge of how to process a return/exchange. It seemed her conversation with the other employee was more important than helping a customer. Pure laziness and unwillingness to put the customer above themselves. Really Walmart, is this how you treat your customers? Unfortunately, I have no choice now but to return at a later time to process my return, but that will be the last time I step foot inside a store that cares so little for its customers. their staff is rude, they over price ALL their items by $2-$3 more compared to all the other walmarts in modesto. their price tags tell you the wrong prices and you find that out while you're already at the cash register, and you'll see most of the staff hanging out instead of working. seriously, 2 out of like 17 cash registers open while you see a bunch of staff just walking around pretending to be busy or just chit chatting read more
