What is going on at this store that the shelves are CONSTANTLY being stocked during the day? The middle of the aisles are always blocked with pallets of unopened boxes. Many times you have to walk to the end of the store and turn around to get to the next section over. This is a fire hazard and a violation of Georgia code. I avoid going here unless I have no choice. Stock your shelves after hours. read more

I called them to see if they had red shoes for my daughter. She needed them for a Dorothy costume. Walmart was a last resort btw. The customer service representative said hold on I'll go check. After being on hold for so long I already made it to the store. I left my headset just in case she came back with a yes or no. I could proceed to the shoe section or look around. Well guess what, went to the shoe section and NO ONE was there. I wasn't really surprised because Walmart isn't known for good customer service. I was a little irritated because of wasn't time. Had the girl actually checked for me, I would have continued driving home instead of stopping. The only good thing that came out of this visit were some crates I found for $1. read more

Walked through this store to see what was left of the Black Friday sales. Checked out the Pioneer Woman's collection of kitchen items; plates, mugs, salt & pepper shakers, cookware, serving dishes, cookbooks, and Crockpots. She has become very much of a franchise promoting herself with new products at Walmart. The floral design was not quite for me and items were not tagged with sale prices. There was a basket of scented wax cubes to rummage through. I found some Balsam scented to bring my home closer to Christmas. The sign said $2 each, but they rung up as $1.25. Fantastic! Not much to buy unless they were true Black Friday items. I'd have to go online to be sure. Happy shopping! read more

This Walmart should be worried that they are making people sick. While shopping I noticed pepperoni on the shelf that had been molded that had to be there for a while. I pulled them from the shelf and took them to a member of management who acted like it was okay. He showed no concern for the health , well being and safety if ingested. Obviously Walmart doesn't train their grocery associates very well otherwise you wouldn't see this on the shelf. There were multiple bags on the shelf as well as other food like this on the shelf!!! This Walmart used to be the best but now it looks like it's located in a 3rd world country. Nothing is where it used to be. The new arrangement makes no sense anymore. And let's not talk about the bare, unorganized shelves, the personal shoppers blocking the aisles, stock sitting on the floor in boxes, I would not shop there for groceries except for the convenience of the location. Lidl is nearby but they don't have some of the brands I like, and the nearest Kroger is 5 mikes away. I wish Ingles would come back and build on their old location at the corner of Hurt Rd and Powder Springs Rd. read more

Update*************** Okay - so please don't panic or send me private messages thinking my account has been hacked. Yes - it's really me - and yes it's really my head (H8ful 8 fans will get) - Lol. And now that I've made that reference - please don't message me with QT hate either - lol. SO - I used to hate Walmart. The meat tastes funny. Most of the cashiers are angry, over-the-top stereotypes. Sixty percent of the customers would sooner fight you than move out of your way or act like sane, civil human beings. And - if I'm being 100% honest - all of that stuff is STILL true. So why the five stars? Two words: Curbside pick-up. I can now place my orders online and schedule my pickup time - then drive to side of the building and call the number for grocery pick-up and be on my way and back home IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES. No joke - I timed it. So far the attendants have been cool. Not super polished, very young and didn't tell me about substitutions that had been made at the appropriate time - but I'm still okay. Add to that - the last two times I ventured inside for the pharmacy - it was quick and easy. No other customers were in line and the staff made eye contact and let me know they'd be right with me. When it was my turn - there was no 'hood' attitude and I was thrilled at the positive, pleasant personalities of both ladies. I've gone out of my way to fill out surveys in all these instances because I believe in giving props when props are due! *************** I just wanted to share the fact that I recently started using Walmart Pickup at the Barrett Pkwy location (aka Powder Springs Rd location) and I really like it. I especially liked it when I purchased 3 cases of water, 20pack of tissue, 12pack of paper towels, detergent, bleach and other bulky items - which is primarily what I get when I shop at Walmart. But I even ordered groceries a few times - including produce - and they picked some excellent Roma tomatoes for me. Lol. Currently, there's no service fee - though I tipped the attendant and I'm sure most do. The website says they also offer delivery. I was checking out the fact that Kroger offers a similar service. It's called Kroger Pickup (Formerly ClickList®). The store closest to Horseshoe Bend doesn't offer it - but the Whitlock, Dallas Hwy and S Cobb Drive stores offer it. There's a $4.95 charge but it's waived for the first three orders. Publix's version is powered by Instacart and I'm not sure - but it appears that they mark-up individual items instead of charging a flat surcharge - so I doubt I'll use their service as it seems like this would get pricey pretty quickly. The have delivery, curbside pickup and in-store pickup. The stores near us that currently offer this option are Dallas Hwy, Cumberland Pkwy (Vinings) and S Cobb Drive. Most people rave about what a time-saver this is - and I agree. Parking and running around the store grabbing items, then waiting in checkout lines - for even basic groceries - easily takes at minimum an hour. With the pickup service - I was in and out of the parking lot with my trunk full of purchases in less than 6 minutes. And for elderly people or anyone with mobility issues, or just when you're feeling under the weather - this is a great service! read more

The management there were not helpful or considerate when I had an issue. I purchased 3 carts worth of merchandise for setting up a new house and they did not bag one of the three $8.00 trash cans I purchased. They basically told me if I couldn't prove it happened, then it didn't. They have gotten too big and unresponsive. read more

Basic walmart really. Out of all the walmart a in the area I view this as the more ghetto one but it's really not that bad. Kind of hard to find some help when you're looking for it and if you ask someone and they say the specific aisle they are probably wrong (but at least they knew the area if what I was looking for.) Very convent, a little hard to get into because of the location but ehh beggars can't be choosers. I will say one thing I really did like, the self check out lines work and work well. None of that "please place your item on the tray," crap, cause we all know that gets really annoying. I thought for the longest they I.D. for Benadryl but evidently they stopped so that was a plus, because I get really irritated having to show it for something as simple as Benadryl. This store is SO disgusting and doesn't care at all about customer service. I left a bag at the store called and no one answered (not surprised) and went back with my receipt and they still wouldn't help me. Everybody there needs to be fired and rehire some decent people who actually want to work and really greet you with a smile instead of them sticking their nose up at you because you interrupted their little side convo or while they were texting. Customer service isn't what I think of when it comes to Wal-Mart but this one fails even for Wal Mart. My husband ordered something online around Christmas. He went to pick it up here and the inept customer service rep insisted it was at the Wal Mart a few miles down the street. My husband drove to the Wal Mart the lady directed him to and surprise surprise, it wasn't there. It was at this location (first place he came to). I don't understand how this is acceptable to have customers running around like this when all she had to so was simply check and do her job. I've been avoiding Wal Marts in general lately and this gives me even more reason to stay far far away. read more

Make sure you call ahead-if you can get somebody to answer- when you're trying to buy a phone at this Walmart. I have been there three times to buy a phone and there's never any phone people there. I have never made a complaint in my life, but the people are so rude for some strange reason. I went once at 10 AM they said they wouldn't be there till noon, and then I went once at 3pm... to buy a phone. They told me they would not be there till evening. Ahh...hello? Walmart closes at eight something now because of Covid. I'm trying to hand Walmart money and there's no one willing to accept it. I can't even get information to try & go again tomorrow because nobody will answer in electronics. I don't think Verizon or iPhone would be too happy about this. read more

Totally disappointed with the delivery service! Was suppose to have my groceries delivered between 7-8 pm last night and they never came. Call customer service and they couldn't get hold of anyone at the store and I couldn't get ahold of anyone at the store. Went there yesterday to grab wrapping supplies for Christmas gifts. This parking lot is always a mess, people can clearly not understand the meaning of a one way lane. They've recently within a year have swapped out register for multi self check out stations. They are located at every exit/entrance, I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing? We all know that Walmart is notorious for having 20ish registers with only two on each end "open." I'm not a fan of the self checkout movement! BUT Walmart prices are so enticing.. what to do? read more

No complaints about this Walmart. Convenient location for me, and they have everything I need. I love the self checkouts. The best time to go is early mornings. It is not as crowded, and easier to maneuver. read more

Since the store is mostly self checkout now they have the employees just standing around watching you like you're stealing things while at the self checkouts. If they can watch over you like a hawk then they sure can open up other registers where the employees can scan your items. Every time I go they always harass me about what's in my bag(s) even though they're standing there looking at what I'm scanning, also every time I get TP I get stopped by the "greeters" or who I like to call the Toilet Paper Police all because my TP isn't in a bag... oh course it's not going to be in a bag it's too big to fit in those tiny bags... if you really think I'm stealing TP then call the local law enforcement and check the cameras because I don't have time to deal with the TP Police. I like to move quick fast and in a hurry, I move with a purpose. I don't have time for the TP Police to check my every item if I wanted all my items to be checked I'd go to Costco read more

Self checkout register broke and didn't dispense all my cash back. It started dispensing in $5's and $1's. Cashier pushed the button and hit the machine saying "please work!" I asked if I could get higher bills than $5's and she said flatly, "no. Guest services won't do it for you either." She called a manager who was slightly more apologetic but similarly powerless to provide a quick solution to my problem. I had to wait for nearly 10 minutes before I was able to get my cash and leave. This after waiting in line 10 minutes already. Avoid the self checkouts. read more

The employees and greeters here are hit and miss. Some are really friendly, others not so much. Their produce is never fully stocked no matter what day or time I've come in. And if you're lucky enough to find the fruit and/or vegetable you need, good luck finding some you actually want to buy. Half of it is nearly rotting, bruised badly or just ugly. Meanwhile you can't beat the prices and I like that there is a Subway there. BUT- for the love of God the parking lot and the customers driving in it are atrocious. I can't even count on one hand how many times I've almost gotten run over or almost backed into by somebody. Like really now? read more

This is a pretty good Walmart. It's well stocked (for the most part) and the staff has been nice. The floors are pretty clean and the bathrooms are ok as well. They have a Subway inside which is pretty convenient. Over all, a slightly better experience than other Walmarts in my opinion. 4 out of 5 read more

The proximity makes it convenient and items are generally easy to find. My only complaint is the lack of friendly customer associates. I suppose that's to be expected in almost every Walmart...it's simply amazing how uncaring, unfriendly and unsmiling some of the associates are. I just recently needed something for a relative, and the staff member who answered my call really went out of her way to help me. She made several trips to locate the item and to give me information about it, and she did it with such a gracious and cheerful attitude! When I arrived at the store that same day, I had the good fortune to be able to meet her, and she spent even more time with me, answering my questions and in making my experience there are easy as possible!
