**"Excellent Experience at Madison Reed"** Marietta GA location…read more I had a wonderful experience at Madison Reed! The stylist was not only highly professional and talented but also incredibly kind and attentive. I appreciated how transparent they were about the process, including how long my service would take from start to finish--and they stayed right on schedule. Unlike some salons, there was no pressure to buy products, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The focus was entirely on providing great service and ensuring I was happy with the result. I left feeling refreshed and confident. I will definitely be returning!

If I need a wig or something to add volume or color to my hair, that's where I will go first. They sell other beauty items, but I was just so impressed with the hair stuff that I didn't pay attention to the other items.

I also wish I could give 0 stars because from the moment we walked in, the lady was staring at us oddly.

Exterior First - this location is no longer on Austell Rd…read more That plaza has been demolished and they are now located at 1757 East-West Connector #430, Austell, GA 30106. I actually like Grace Nails in the same plaza, but hate this parking lot. It's hard to exit because of Target and Five Guys customers. And the it's tight. I have a sedan, not a truck and I swear I feel like I'm gonna back into the cars parked opposite of me every time I go to this plaza. Interior Large. Cluttered. If you're in a rush, you'll need to ask for assistance. Prices / Value Unsure. Didn't really look around, was only looking for one item and found it quickly. Customer Service I think this spot must be under new management because the owner is condescending and rude. I was at the counter paying for my purchase and this clown had the nerve to lecture me about opening the box. AFTER he had already swiped my card and I'd signed off on the purchase. It was a white head scarf aka braid bonnet. I've purchased these before and opened the package to discover the wrong color was inside, and I'd been to multiple stores looking for a plain white version, so I wanted to open it in front of a store associate to make sure someone hadn't pulled the old switcheroo (or that it wasn't just a manufacturer mistake). I didn't appreciate his volume (loud) or his condescending tone. Once I've approved the credit card transaction, I own the product. What's wrong with opening it in the store? If I'd opened it in the car or at home - and had a problem, then walked back in, bet you dollars-to-donuts that the owner would have accused me of switching it after I left the store. Will never go back.

I won't be returning and I suggest no one of color to come unless you want to be harassed, followed and possibly physically assaulted trying to simply get supplies and patronize the business. I wouldn't be surprised if they responded gas lighting or blaming me for being assaulted... it was the most disgraceful behavior. If I could give negative stars I would !

I've been putting off a much-needed beauty supply store trip and finally made it. US Beauty Mart…read morewas the closest to where I was at the time so I figured it was worth a visit. First impression was how big this place is. There were aisles and aisles of beauty items, wigs, shampoos and anything else you can think of to keep you jazzy. I was on the hunt for a new shower cap, bonnet and scarf for myself and a baby durag/scarf for my son to use in coming months. With all the hair that I have, I need really big bonnets and things like that to keep my locs in order and some places just don't keep them in stock. Lucky me, I found them here! The prices were also really reasonable as I have seen these items in the past at some places that were charging over $10 for them! There were only 2 baby scarves and they were a little too girly for him (albeit, perfect for me lol) so I skipped in and figured I'd find something more neutral at another spot. I took a lap around the store and they really had it all. There were a few sections that were missing some items but it looked to be kids stuff which makes sense as school is just getting back into session and the kiddos want to look fresh! Checking out was easy and the woman at the front was so kind and patient as I browsed the items on display. A good experience during a random visit!

A lot of the girls they hire have bad attitudes, and it seems like they're chosen just because they can "relate" to the customers, not because of professionalism. My biggest issue is the tape and sensors they put on products. I understand they're trying to prevent people from opening items, and stealing but if the staff isn't prepared to properly remove the tape and sensor at checkout, they shouldn't apply them. It's a headache trying to peel that off at home it damages the packaging and makes the product look ugly. I gave two stars because there is one young lady who's always so pleasant and helpful every time I come in. I wish I knew her name she's a really beautiful, short Black girl who wears long braids and she always goes out of her way to help me find what I need.
