Thanks to Jenn J. for helping me find a match to a lipstick that was out of stock online and in store. My favorite lipstick is by Sephora rouge shine no. 3 (tenderness). For some reason I always have a hard time finding it. Everytime I see it I always buy 3-4 of them. Right now I have 2 in my freezer (sticking them in there keeps them fresh and bacteria free) I came by on a whim to see if they had any in stock but they didn't and they were out online as well. So Jenn J. suggested that maybe we could buy a dupe. Well she must of went through at least 15 shades of peachy pink before we found the perfect one. Smashbox's Be Legendary lipstick in Pretty Social. It's a close match to my beloved Sephora and after wearing it for a couple of days-I think I might like it even better...thanks Jenn J. When I went to check out...the cashier Gwen saw that I had tons of Sephora points and offered to find me something as a free gift. She went through the trouble of digging behind a bunch of boxes to find me a Clinique make up kit that had a whole bunch of stuff in that I was looking forward to try....thanks guys for another great experience....be back to buy more...because 3 drawers full of lipstick isn't enough...I need more... read more

Sephora used to treat customer well, but not anymore, Don't come here to waste your time, they refused to return Sephora salesable product if you don't shop here, what a terrible customer service!! The store manager ask you to go back to the original store for return, I can't believe it this is happening in Sephora, that's why people shopping around Nordstrom and Macy's, instead of Sephora anymore. read more

I've always had a hard time finding my right foundation shade in general, but since switching to Haus Labs it turns out it's even a little more difficult. Love Haus Labs foundation but the color names are a little misleading. When I asked the greeter if someone could color match me, the person who initially helped me wasn't helpful at all. I was about to just purchase one of the two shades she swatched on me, even though I wasn't 100% convinced it was my right shade. But I decided to try a few more shades just to see and a different employee, Tracey, came up to me and started talking with me about Haus Labs and how the color names are a little different from how they look on. This was super helpful! If she hadn't told me that I might've been there for a while She went above and beyond to try and find my perfect shade and offered her personal opinion/feedback about how the colors we were swatching looked, not just asking me what I think like the other employee did. Tracey made me feel comfortable and secure in asking for help when I normally feel like I don't want to bother anyone. She even sent me an email with the shade color I ended up getting with a warm welcome to the city/state since I just moved here. So sweet! She's absolutely amazing read more

Although I think it's over priced, I had a great experience with an associate by the name of Toylin. I hope I spelled her name correctly. She informed me of make up classes as well as assisting me with my purchase. I bought Naked Urban Decay weightless foundation. She assisted me with the shade and applied a bit on my skin. She was very pleasant and professional. I love my new foundation. I looked for something that wouldn't irritate my skin, like Bare Minerals. read more

This store is very busy but the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Every time I would approach a different section of the store the staff in that area would ask if I needed help. It wasn't overbearing and I really appreciated that level of service. The store was also well stocked, and I left happy with my purchases. As a general observation, something I've noticed about Sephoras in the Atlanta metro is that the staff is really nice- at other stores in other cities I've lived this isn't always the case. Sometimes the reps are great and sometimes they ignore you and other times they pass along bad info. I was told my favorite product was being discontinued when I didn't find it on the shelf. A second rep passing by, when asked by the rep helping me said m hmmm it's discontinued or we would have it. It wasn't until I happened to see the product page on social media and reached out to the company who let me know I was given bad information as the product is not going anywhere. Honestly I come here all the time and they have great customer service. I've been trying to find a color that matches me and they took their time because I know I can be very picky. Since finding my right color, I am so pleased. I've been to other Sephora locations and it's as if they don't want to help or you are a nuisance. The manager Ashley I think that's her name she has like platinum blonde hair is amazing. So quick so fast. One day I called for a product and she remembered me and helped me right away! I went to this Sephora tonight and my friends and I were basically accused of stealing. We felt harassed the whole time and felt like we could not continue shopping. We were followed around the whole store and talked about the entire time. When we asked the workers about it they were extremely rude and unprofessional. I usually love this location inside Town Center. However the past two times I have visited it has been disappointing. The employees kept approaching me even when I told them I was just browsing. I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Another thing that bothered me was when I came on a very slow day. I asked an employee if they have a particular product in the store and they automatically said no. I then asked if the Sephora inside JC Penny would possibly have the product and she said "I don't know, go check". I have never dealt with such rudeness at any Sephora. read more

I am in love with makeup and let's be honest... Sephora has the best selection ever, but review is more about the staff. Never have I been so welcomed and helped then I've ever been in any other store. I walked in and was greeted by 5 of the employees. They always go the extra mile for my needs and wants and I love it. I honestly wouldn't want to buy makeup any other place!! If you are in need of help and are looking for something please stop by this location. I love Sephora's products! I went in yesterday to get the Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation only to find out that this location does not have it which is a little upsetting but it's fine because i was able to just drove over to Perimeter to get it. Anyways, the reason that i gave this review 5 stars is because of a very helpful employee named Kimberly. She gave me other foundation suggestions, along with talked to me about other wonderful products. She was very informative and knowledgable. First of all, if you live in the Kennesaw, GA area and you buy cosmetics anywhere else, you're missing out. Sephora has a crazy good selection. The products speak for themselves. But this review is all about my girl, Kristen. If you want someone with some beauty know-how to show you the ropes, go see Kristen. If you want product recommendations, Kristen is your girl. If you want a complete overhaul of your beauty routine, Kristen knows her stuff. I seriously cannot say enough kind words about this woman. She gets me, my sense of style, my personality, everything! All of the staff here are crazy helpful and pleasant, but when I need something, I see Kristen because she is that good. If I could give this location more than 5 stars, I would, simply because they have Kristen working there. read more

Horrible people!! Well when I walked into Sephora I was greeted, I continued and looked at a few things, some ladies helped me out and picked things out and suggested things for me, which they were very helpful. I had a basket with about 4-5 things and i didnt want to be rude and put those 5 items back, i did like and want them, but when i checked how much money i had, i didn't have enough, which is not there fault/problem at all. I went to the back of the store where the skin cleansers and scrubs and lotion were and i just set my basket on the counter, i walked away and then this lady yelled "hey" at least two times until i knew she was talking to me, absolutely the rudest person I HAVE EVER spoken to, she indicated that i was "stealing" when all i did was just leave the bag there. Another lady that kinda helped me pick out my lipstick was also saying i was stealing, asking "where are the 3 lipsticks you had in your hand?" I then said that i put them back, i then turned around to the another lady and laid out my purse, infront of her stating "im leaving, i didnt steal anything" she continued you bash me and say remarks as in if i was stealing and so i just walked out. Used Dr. Dennis Gross steamer which was sooo relaxing, with some skin care products afterwards. Bought this item, so obsessed! Will definitely come back to splurge and see her again. read more

This store doesn't have the biggest selection as ones within the perimeter, but it is always well organized and the staff are helpful. I've gotten many recommendations from the different staff members for my now favorite products. They're also nice enough to let me know if a certain brand isn't available to go ahead and order online. Always a treat when I go in here. read more

I love makeup and Sephora but today changed my mind. I was minding my own business looking for a gift for my sisters birthday and swatched a little too much on my hand. I decided to remove it using some makeup remover and a sponge. I walk over and this rude worker walks up to me and my friend and says, "are y'all playin?" We are both only twelve, but we are pretty good at makeup. We decided to leave without buying anything because we thought we should consult my mom first. After consulting my mom, we come back and look at the too faced liquid lipsticks and throughout the entire time she gives my friend and I several dirty looks. After that, we decided on a lipstick, and left to get money from my mom. The mall was closing pretty soon so we decided to go back to Sephora pretty quickly and walked in before being stopped by a police officer standing near the doors and the worker once again. The man tells us they're almost closed so we thought we could just buy the lipstick quickly and leave. But then the man teams up with the worker and tells us to leave and that they were closed but there were many customers still shopping in the store. We were confused, but not in the mood to argue, so we said ok and left. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed by Sephora, this police officer, this worker, and this mall for creating these drastically low closing times. It was a Sunday and they were closed at 6pm.
