I picked up my prescription on July 3 and call today as I have not been feeling well and I've been on the same prescriptions for well over several years. Something told me to look at the bottle today and I realize that I have somebody else's prescription. Which means they have mine and mine are narcotics. Very dangerous situation. read more

This Walgreens is located on Cobb Parkway about a mile west of downtown Kennesaw. Nearby businesses includes Publix, Chase, Burger King, CVS, Pep Boys Auto Service, El Rodeo Mexican and Papa John's Pizza. This store like its cousin CVS now are beginning to carry lot more grocery items such as ice cream, frozen food and small selection of fresh fruit. They also carry lots of chips, snacks, cookies, milk, bottle water, soda and candy. They're great for those that are traveling and forget to pack little stuff like dental floss or flip flops for walking around the hotel room. (Word of advice: no matter how nice of a hotel you're staying in; never walk around barefeet on hotel carpets-cause you just don't know what kind of funk you might pick up...) I was very taken back on how the pharmacy department assisted me on 3/31/2022. The line at the drive through was long, so I came in. I stood in line so long, that I was able to carry on a full conversation with man behind me, even getting to know him better. Once it was my turn to be waited on, the man waiting on me could not find my husband's prescription. My husband only has two prescriptions that he gets at this location, and we have been coming here since 2015. Mind you, I had a fax sent in regards to the prescription refill, since the medication always requires a blood exam be performed before the medication can be dispensed. He was very unaware of how to look up the information for the fax, and for my husband's prescription, even saying at one point that he didn't see his name in the system. However, he was the same person who has handed this same prescription to me through the drive through on multiple previous occasions. Not only that, he clearly showed his frustration with helping me, and others during the same eventful evening. I was there long enough to probably watch a documentary on any subject of my choice. To add to the confusion, the pharmacist on duty informed me that he has never dispensed the medication that my husband gets, and didn't know how to do it. He stated that I would need to 'come back tomorrow', and speak with the pharmacy manager to get the meds. So what if my husband was having a medical episode, because of not being able to get his meds. Or what if we were leaving town going on vacation, and really needed to get the prescription before we left? Regardless of the situation, a person needs to be able to walk into this place, and get what they need in a timely fashion. In the meantime, while they were 'not helping me', the line continued to grow inside the store, causing others to be frustrated. This scenario has happened more than once, and to others under various circumstances. It needs to stop. Somebody in their corporate office needs to be made aware of this kind of situation, and get it corrected immediately. In the meantime, please all of you who are reading this, be aware of this location. I plan to find another store to have our prescriptions sent to. read more

I too love this location. This Walgreens has just about anything you could truly need for a 24 hr location. Things for baby? Hair color? Check. Pharmacy. Check, check. This pharmacy has not 1, but 2 drive through lanes outside. Very convenient for sick people who just plain don't feel like getting out of their car. Staff is always sugar sweet, which I can attribute to good old southern charm. Plenty of convenient parking makes you feel like every space is the prime space. It's on a busy road so be aware of your entrance & exit strategy to avoid having to turn left. read more

I have been a Walgreens customer at the one on Dallas highway in Marietta for 15 years and always had wonderful experiences. I have been shopping at the one on Cobb Parkway North in Kennesaw for about the last 6 months. I have never received such terrible treatment as I did tonight from a girl named Coutney who works the front register. From the moment I walked up, she was rude. She did not smile, she rolled her eyes and moved extremely slow. When I was having issues with getting a refund she literally was so rude to me that she told me she was leaving and going home and walked out. She charged my card twice and 56.00 was deducted from my account. I have yet to have it back in my account. When I asked her coworker Elijah that was standing behind the counter with her, he stated that he would not give me her name. I am appalled at how I was treated and the level of customer service at this Walgreens. This girl should be fired. I called and asked to speak to the manager. Elijah answered the phone, and kept me on hold for several minutes. I hung up and went back up there to talk to the manager directly. He said he would address it with them. I do hope that this issue will be addressed with her and that my money is refunded on to my card. I won't be back until that girl is gone. She charged my card 4 times and I ended up not purchasing one thing. read more

The is the worst pharmacy i've ever dealt with. I originally picked this pharmacy because there's a medication that I take which is particularly expensive, and GoodRX showed the cheapest price being at Walgreens. Went to get my prescription, and the price they gave me was 4x the price listed on GoodRX, and they refused to accept the coupon. They said they needed to order a particular manufacturer in order to honor the coupon. So they claimed they ordered it. I called 4 times over the course of the 2 weeks prior to needing the medication refilled to confirm that the order was placed and that it would be ready by the date I needed it. I was reassured each time that it would be. I also want to mention that if you plan on calling this location you will be on hold for an average of 45 mins-1hr before a very rude lady picks up the phone who seems to be annoyed with each caller. Anyway, when the time came to pick it up, I am informed that it was never ordered and it will not be ordered. Where's the communication? I had to go a few days without my medication and have my prescription transferred somewhere else due to this. Then, when attempting to refill a different prescription through them because it was prescribed at the same time as the other so it went through them, the app notified me it would take them 2 days to fill it?? What pharmacy needs 2 days to fill a medication that I know is kept on hand? 2 days passed. I check the status of my prescription, and they had cancelled it. I attempted to call them to determine the cause of this, but was on hold for an hour and a half before giving up. I called another pharmacy (who answered promptly, I might add) who will now be filling my prescription. Never go to this pharmacy, if you must use Walgreens use a different location. The people here are rude, and the miscommunication is atrocious. read more

Since merging/buying Rite Aide this Walgreens sucks! It is nearly impossible to get your prescription filled. Especially if you are transferring it! They don't care when or if you get it. I have been waiting for 3 days for a prescription to be transferred and I am completely out of the medicine. i waited for one hour after my scheduled appointment time to get the shot. Not to mention I was also early. The old nurse was waiting until she had a good number of people to give the shot. It was not fair for those getting the shots to sit for lengthy periods and watch all others come and go with their prescriptions. I don't remember the young lady's name who helped me, but she didn't miss a step in her helpfulness and efficiency. Pharamacy and Labcorp just rude! Walk in havent even spoken a word and immdenatly told "no home covid test" 1- that is not what i'm here for. Ok so i check in for labcorp lady comes out rude for one saying i need a mask, i understand i didn't have one available on me so ofc i ask for one and get told "no we don't you can ask pharmacy or buy one then come back and knock" wow ok a medical practice doesn't have mask for their customers? so i finally find one come back and knock then get told "you didn't have to knock so hard" like lady?? then asking for my drivers licenses which i should've been told before hand that would be needed but no and told we can not do the testing without one or can't do one with a photo copy i simply left. I have to call them twice to make sure that they're working on refilling my medication, and when I go there I always have to wait AT LEAST 30 mins just to pick up my medication even when it's not busy at all. One time the pharm tech told me that they didn't receive my order for a refill...and I had called them a day before to put in my refill. I love this Walgreens and not just because I can drive with my eyes closed and get to it within 2 minutes. The staff are friendly, they always have a changing variety of stuff and I love their deals. I even came to the little clinic and the Nurse Practioner was really great taking me in even though he had already clocked out for lunch. They sell drinks at this Walgreens. Cheap wine/beer, snacks and a red box dvd. Sounds like a relaxing evening to me. read more

I have used Walgreens pharmacy for years. I called this Walgreens to verify whether they had a medicine in stock before having to drive 10+ miles to pick it up. My husband had surgery and none of the local pharmacies carried the medicine that the doctor had prescribed. The clerk at this Walgreens refused to help indicating for safety she couldn't verify whether they had any medication. Because of her lack of willingness to assist, and the CVS directly across the street from this location did, I will be a CVS customer for years to come. So I never imagined reviewing a Walgreens. I mean, I love this location and always get great service but today went far beyond my expectations. I had a bit of confusion about a purchase and they called the manager for a price check and clarification. JoAnna came running, I mean a brisk jog to the area and when she sensed my disappointment about the advertised special came up with an alternate solution that made my very happy. Just moved from out of state and needed to fill a prescription. Pharmacist refused to fill the prescription even though another local Walgreens did 30 days ago and doesn't have a current medicine at the pharmacy. Pretty aggravated that even though all of the information is available to the pharmacist in their system they refused to fill needed medication.
