Bring Cash or they will steal money off your Apple Pay!…read more I went to this store today and bought $43.93 in items. I used Apple Pay for the purchase and was given a receipt that showed $43.93. However, before leaving I checked my Apple Wallet app to verify the transaction and found that they had added $30 extra dollars to the transaction for a total of $73.93!!! I went to the cashier and showed him the transaction and he got all nervous and said that he must have hit a wrong button! How can a wrong button have been hit if you gave me a final receipt showing $43.93??? He said he needed to call someone to credit back the $30 but I could go ahead and leave. Mind you, he had taken my original receipt back. I told him and would wait and that he could go ahead and refund the entire order. I waited and held onto the purchased items until he handed me a receipt showing the $73.93 refund & I verified my Apple Wallet app showed the refund. I'll never set foot in this place again and I would suggest others do the same. However, if you feel like you must go here, "BRING CASH!"

Upon walking in Amy was the sole person working in the shop and I requested to see if someone was available to flat iron and style my hair. I had already dried and washed it. She told me she would be able to do it in just a few minutes after she got another customer ready to go. At first glance this seemed different than the type of Dominican salon I am used to where multiple people rotate you or assist you for the stylist of your choice. However Amy nicely explained to me there are typically two to three people here and they work by Walk Ins and will rotate the work in and move quickly nOne person was out of town (the salon owner) and the other one had a situation. As Amy stated, it would be just a few minutes and it was. She proceeded to assist me and do the work to get my roots and hair really straight! She did an awesome job I am very pleased and she adjusted the price accordingly as it was already washed and dried. Her customer service with a smile plus great outcomes will take me back to see her again! I came back on another visit and saw Milky the owner to touch up my relaxer. I use a very expensive brand and it pays off because I never have breakage well I did! On one hand I fault myself because I feel like when it was burning I should have insisted she rinse it out instead of spraying oil on it. On a positive note she is very good at smoothing out the hair and very thorough Unfortunately I have suffered some breakage in the front and back Luckily I have enough hair that I can cover it up or I would be throwing more of a fit. I came back on and they are treating it but since it's a different lady she said I had to pay for the wash....but then didn't charge me.... I have mixed emotions I like the people care and styling. I 'followed' a stylist name Lori to this location and I must say I was pleasantly surprised…read more I say surprised because I've visited 'salon suites' before and I was never a fan. They were always very small, uncomfortable and I always managed to get stuck in a room with one or more women who are intent on having very loud, what-should-have-been-private conversations on their cell phones during my entire visit. Argh. As always, my stylist, Lori Bailey Cooper - did a fantastic job on my hair! She's one of those stylists that can do it all - cut, color & style. She knows her chemicals, doesn't over-process and doesn't take a one approach method on all patrons like some stylists will do. If your hair doesn't need a lot of heat to make it "do what it do," you'll see her applying less heat not simply leaving the setting on whatever she used on the last chick. Over the years - I've gone to her so many times to fix a bad haircut or simply get my hair back in shape when I've strayed. Lol. So enough about Lori - about the new space . . . . . . from the outside - it looks a little - sparse. It's located off Spring Rd, just past the intersection of Village Pkwy, you have to veer off to the right - but if you miss it - you can turn down Jonquil (next to that Dairy Queen) and backtrack to it. As I said, the exterior is a little industrial looking, but the interior is very upscale & trendy looking, hardwood (laminate) flooring, nice colors and private suites. There is a large common area in the back filled with comfy sofas and a small wet bar / kitchenette area where you can eat, relax or use wifi while you wait. And this con is more for the ladies. To get to your stylists suites - you have to walk through the barber shop. Fortunately for me - I go out looking like a train wreck all the time - so that's not a dealbreaker. And the guys will shower you with compliments when you leave - so it balances out. ;-)

I had a film shoot the next day and needed my locs retwisted. I called in and the owner answered, asked if the loctitian could squeeze me in. She was finishing her last client and decided to take me. I judge stylists based on their shampoo first (everyone needs to know how to do a thorough, quick, mess-free shampoo) and it was wonderful. She retwisted my hair quickly, and styled my hair in a way that complimented my head shape. In addition to that, my retwist lasted for a WHOLE. MONTH. it was amazing! Anytime in Atlanta, girl I'm coming back.
