I actually like Grace Nails in the same plaza, but hate this parking lot. It's hard to exit because of Target and Five Guys customers. And the it's tight. I have a sedan, not a truck and I swear I feel like I'm gonna back into the cars parked opposite of me every time I go to this plaza. Interior Large. Cluttered. If you're in a rush, you'll need to ask for assistance. Prices / Value Unsure. Didn't really look around, was only looking for one item and found it quickly. Customer Service I think this spot must be under new management because the owner is condescending and rude. I was at the counter paying for my purchase and this clown had the nerve to lecture me about opening the box. AFTER he had already swiped my card and I'd signed off on the purchase. It was a white head scarf aka braid bonnet. I've purchased these before and opened the package to discover the wrong color was inside, and I'd been to multiple stores looking for a plain white version, so I wanted to open it in front of a store associate to make sure someone hadn't pulled the old switcheroo (or that it wasn't just a manufacturer mistake). I didn't appreciate his volume (loud) or his condescending tone. Once I've approved the credit card transaction, I own the product. What's wrong with opening it in the store? If I'd opened it in the car or at home - and had a problem, then walked back in, bet you dollars-to-donuts that the owner would have accused me of switching it after I left the store. Will never go back.

The inventory was literally being stocked on the shelves as I shopped and all looked new/fresh. I loved that I got help from one of the owners s while I was looking for a particular braiding hair. He wasn't following me or profiling at all, but noticed I looked like I was searching for something and offered help while he stocked shelves. That's a small but uncommon thing in many supply stores. The ladies watch you like a hawk. They aren't as smooth about doing it inconspicuously. It bothers me a little because I've been in there every month for years and years and still get watched like I'm a thief or something. There was a cashier who recognized me every time I went in but I haven't seen her lately. Even though their prices went up during the bad economy, I can tell now that they have gone back down. I went to the front and asked for help and the cashier told me exactly where to go to find it and her recommended aisle was accurate. I think it was 8 or 9. After finding exactly what I needed, I got in line and was able to find a bamboo brush for laying edges. The cashier checked me out and told me about the free rewards program, so I signed up. The service was great and it was a lot of things to choose from, such as costume jewelry, hair products, braiding hair and cute accessories. I hadn't been in the store in over 7 years, and this experience made me want to come back the next time I need something.

I know so many people go on this day and get the total limit of candles that you can buy, but I only got five and I was excited about it. This store is located in a plaza alongside Marshalls, Popshelf, Target and other stores. Due to the amount of retail in the area, there's tons of parking available if you decide to visit. The store itself is setup just like any other, including a friendly greeter at the door. There were a number of sales happening on this visit so I was having a blast. I was bummed that two seasonal scents that stood out to me weren't displayed beyond the testers, but a sweet associate still took time to try and hunt them down in the back. I ended up walking out with about 8 soaps, some hand sanitizer and a lotion for under $25 with my deals!

Once I finished in Kmart, I walked to VP Beauty Supply. It was a very nice, and clean store. There was nice music that played softly through the store. I looked through the store, and couldn't find the items I was looking for. Do you know what else I couldn't find? The staff! I walked in, and throughout the store, and never saw a single soul! They have an alarm bell that chimes when someone enters and exits the store, so if someone was there, they should have heard me enter. If I were a dishonest, uncaring person, I probably could have made off with a lot of their merchandise. I left empty handed.
