The younger black gentleman and younger petite black woman are both phenomenal. They both are not only competent but also understand that they work in customer-facing roles. Accordingly, they are professional -- which includes being kind and respectful to the customer. However, there's another young black woman (on the heavier side) with the nastiest attitude. Some advice for her: when you tell the customer that you're not going to give them their Rx for whatever reason, they're going to be frustrated. Compounding their frustration? Your attitude. When your colleagues communicate a delay or issue, it never bourgeons into conflict -- can you guess why? Because they are professionals, and they act like it. This means being kind and respectful even in -- especially in -- the face of a frustrated customer. One more tip: When a customer shows up, greet them? I assume a smile is asking way too much, but certainly don't sit there scowling (in silence, no less!). Like the customer is a nuisance and a bother, showing up and expecting you to do your job. The audacity. Acknowledge the customer and let them know you're ready to assist them. If this is too much for you, get another job. Sincerely. You are unfit for a customer-facing role. read more

The person i had assisting me was slow and so so chill. The product i needed was locked (which is understandable). I asked the man working on the floor to help me open the lock (as the sign near the product i needed said). The dude was extra relaxed, walking away to get the product with his hand in his pocket. Came walking back towards me and remembered he forgot the key (like seriously?) and walked away once again to get the key (with his hand in his pocket ofc. I might have been a bit more tolerant if I wasn't so cranky and tired after a long day at work (so keep that in mind). Btw, you can get away with not wearing your mask even though the sign on the door says "Face Coverings Required" and all that while the message "everyone is required to wear a mask inside the store" is heard every few minutes through the speakers. I don't know why I don't shop at Walgreens more often. I always leave a happy customer when I do....the people that work at this place are super friendly and greet you when you walk in. I like the NYC and the No. 7 brand that are available here now. This location is at the end of East Piedmont and Roswell Road. You basically stay on East Piedmont until it literally dead ends into this Walgreens. There is a Starbucks next to it. A Dunkin Donuts and a Publix is right across the street. If you need stuff in the middle of the night...they're 24 hours. I don't think their pharmacy is though.... read more

This is the worst store in history of Walgreens. All employees are rude and act like you bother them, but THE WORST is the Pharmacy hands down. The pharmacy employees act like you're bothering them, like you've messed up by needing a prescription...and that's only days after you have a prescription sent there to fill. This Walgreens is a good example of a store that probably does well on account of its fairly convenient location, but in terms of the quality of the pharmacy, the main reason why most people go to Walgreens in the first place, they definitely fall short - consistently. So let's get the introductory stuff out of the way: this Walgreens is located at the corner of Roswell Rd (Marietta part) GA-120 and East Piedmont Rd. They're one of the only Walgreens in the 30062 zip code, and snooty East Cobbers tend to not like "crossing the tracks" AKA dare cross into 30066 despite the fact that there are several other, probably better Walgreens within 5-6 miles away. Their parking lot is a war zone where choosing to park right in front of the Walgreens puts your car and your life at danger, because of the Karens and Beckys hauling (rear) out of the neighboring Starbucks drive thru in their Lexus SUVs to leave, and incoming traffic tends to ignore the marks on the asphalt and tend to drive over the handicapped spaces and wheelchair access because it's easier for them. Inside, if you've been in one Walgreens, you've been to all of them, and this one is no exception in that it's kept very clean, and in all fairness, the people that work outside of the pharmacy are polite and friendly enough, but it's not often that I'm going to a Walgreens for anything other than a prescription, unless there's some free photos I redeemed from slickdeals to pick up. But let's talk about the pharmacy: I don't think there's ever been an instance where I've gone to this specific pharmacy, and actually gotten in and out the door without some sort of screw up or aggravation. Have three prescriptions? You'll only get two. Have one prescription? You'll get a partial and be told to come back for the other half on Monday. Doctor prescribe you an antibiotic? The pharmacy will say they weren't contacted by your clinic, and you'll leave empty handed. Without fail, this Walgreens' pharmacy will always leave you feeling pissed off and/or disappointed. Typically, I tend to not bother reviewing big businesses, but this has gone on past long enough to where I feel like people should be warned before deciding to make this their primary pharmacy. I certainly know that I have numerous other options nearby that I can switch to, and will switch to after the latest disappointment. If you want 2/$3 Cokes or discounted generic over-the-counter drugs with your Walgreens card, this Walgreens is perfectly adequate for your needs. But if you need anything from a pharmacy, I highly recommend you seek to take your pharmaceutical needs elsewhere. read more

Possibly the worst pharmacy on Earth. You may think I am exaggerating, I dare you to call my bluff. Hope you didn't need to speak to anyone on the phone, they mute the ringer. Hope you didn't need to actually take your medication, because there's a good chance they won't bother filling it for weeks. The best part is they basically act like its your fault for bothering to use them. And you know what, at this point, they're right! Not sure what's going on at this location. We've used them exclusively since they opened.They sendemail saying a prescription is ready then you go by and they're clueless. Will have to change to CVS, Publix or somewhere besides here. Probably give it a year or so and try again... maybe. Update 9-28-2018: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over the same way and expecting different results. Just spent 20-25 minutes in the Rx pickup lane. Wondered why it was taking so long, that is until my turn at the window to pickup a prescription. Let's just say this Walgreens is completely over run with incompetence, and that's a conservative assessment. I can't say anything nice about these folks, BUT it would probably be be a nice place for a restaurant or park. Walgreens management, heads up! Your operation here is horrible! Are you listening? Kanleeda is the bomb! I was looking for a very hard to find gift set on christmas eve. I called and got Kanleeda. She took my number and within 6 minutes called me back to let me know that this online sold out item was found. I begged her to hold 3 for me. I was in in a half hour. I smiled when I entered because it was really busy and one of the cashiers had my 3 gift sets next to her. I felt bad not realizing how busy they were and the amount of time she spent helping me. I found the last one on the shelf. I approached the counter she smiled realizing immediately who I was. I bought the 4 and turned around and gifted her one of them as a huge thank you for going out of her way. The other cashier was very nice also. All in all, a huge thumbs up to the customer service. This is the worst Walgreens in Cobb County. Don't care about clients and they closing pharmacy whenever they are feel to go home. Its happened again today when my wife tried to realize prescription before 7.00 pm on 11/24. She was already in the store waiting for someone to come to Pharmacy, when lady came and told her we are ALREADY CLOSED. YOU DON;T KNOW THAT TOMORROW IS THANKSGIVING? DRIVE TO SANDY SPRING THEY ARE OPEN. She was rude and not very pleasant the way how she addressed my wife. I have news for Walgreens, this was definitively last time we were shopping at your chain. We are moving our business to CVS and Publix. We are 73 and spending large amount of money in pharmacy and general store, but we will only shop in friendly stores, not hostiles to customers. Went for an ear wax removal which I have had done at this location years ago. The nurse practitioner with short blonde hair told me it wasn't a service they do but I could tell her I'm having pain to be seen. I first said i do not have pain and she continued on until I said sure it's irritated. She then proceeds to take my blood pressure, temperature, and looked at my throat and asked multiple times if I felt ok. I am 36 weeks pregnant and go to see a doctor ever other week and have never had anything come back perfect! She then looks in my ear claims nothing is wrong maybe a little bit of fluid after I told her I tried to do a rinse at home myself. Proceeds to say there is nothing she can do, asked ME if she can prescribe something at this stage of my pregnancy as if I am a medical professional! Then prescribes ear drops that she said could sometimes cost $200... again having no pain and have had this happen a few times in the past and just needed a wash out! Then as she is finishing whatever she was doing in the computer she small talks and asks my vaccination status and then practically harasses me for not getting vaccinated while pregnant! All sorts of judgement about my decision and that my ob and pediatrician haven't pushed for it! I left paying $111 in tears, still not being able to hear out of one ear! This lady is an absolute joke and only made up something to have me be seen and pay! read more

If I could give NO stars I would. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again with the "new" pharmacist rules. These are not Federal or State laws. JUST her arbitrary rules. I cannot drop off a controlled substance Rx UNLESS they can fill it then though I've been doing this for years. I'm not going to wait 30-60 min while they fill it. BUT one of the medicines usually has to be ordered and can take 7-10 days. So, if I can't leave the Rx, how do I know when to bring it in to be filled? How does the pharmacy know to wait for me? Another customer could come in with an Rx for the same medicine the day the order arrives. The pharmacy NOT having my Rx would fill this customer's Rx instead. What happens to my Rx then? I've been using this Walgreens pharmacy for over 20 yrs. WON'T use until they get a NEW pharmicist or the rules change. NEED To change the posted hours on YELP. I switched pharmacies after moving here from the west coast and thought I would like to try Walgreens. But I have consistently annoyed by this location and hope that other locations are better. For one, they often tell me my medication is out of stock and that they will get it in soon. Usually it still gets refilled by the next day so it hasn't bothered me that much. This week I had to call to get them to refill it after a week went by with no word, and they seemed to have no problem being able to fill it now, which means they did have it in stock but forgot about me... Then I went to pick it up around 5:50 on New Years Eve and the pharmacy was closed. I could not find anywhere on the website that said they would close early, but I'm thinking they were supposed to close at 6, which means they closed even earlier than they were supposed to. It would have been nice for them to tell me their hours over the phone when I talked to them earlier in the day, but I guess that's asking too much. And then I went through them for my COVID booster on Black Friday, thinking the pharmacy wouldn't be that busy. Boy, was I wrong! Even though I had already filled out the paperwork online and made an appointment, they still made me fill out the same paperwork again, and I had to wait over an hour, along with other people. I was not impressed. I know the team members are just doing their best right now with everything going on in the world, but if you have a choice to use another pharmacy in the area, I recommend it. read more

Advertised as a 24 hour pharmacy but I'm standing in their parking lot because I was just inside and their pharmacy is closed.

This pharmacy is very disappointing. Some of the staff are friendly and customer focused, which is probably why I've stayed as long as I have. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good in this store, and there is a reason why this Walgreens has the lowest ranking in the Marietta area. They have a pharmacist there that is simply awful. She is consistently curt and seems to have power or control issues on top of her not-so-stellar bedside manner. She has made what should be a simple process of getting monthly medication a complete nightmare. If you want to be notified that your medicine is ready three times only to be told by this very special person that she's decided she's not going to fill it because you are 1 day early (even though your insurance approved it), then this is the store for you! I can't even imagine what she would do if your medicine was a pain killer of some type, when she does this with an inhaler and diabetes medication. There has been an issue of some sort every month for 4 months. Please do yourself and your family a favor and get your prescriptions at a different Walgreens location. read more

The pharmacy has little concern about your personal time. After a 30 minute wait, was told there was a problem with my insurance card. I called and got it straightened out. Then they put my order at the back of the others for an additional wait. When I asked about it they said they had to wait for the pharmacist. He was busy shooting the breeze with one of the residents of the assisted living center next door, who had stopped in just to say hello! Professionalism is not there! This review is in regard to the Take Care clinic at this store. Before going to this clinic for flu vaccine, I verified that they participated with my insurance. At the clinic, the nurse required that I provide a credit card number. She said they would bill my insurance and that my Visa would only be charged if my insurance did not pay. Since I knew my insurance pays for flu vaccine, I was not concerned. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for the full cost of the flu vaccine (3 x $39.99 = 119.97!!) When I checked my insurance, it had not been billed. After numerous calls to the clinic's billing department I learned that, although Take Care accepts my insurance, they are not contracted for the type of vaccine we received. Apparently, in addition to verifying that the clinic participates in my insurance, I am also supposed to obtain the insurance code for the exact, specific services that are performed and verify that these specific charges are also covered. Seriously?!? This despite the fact that the bill states "If you provided your insurance card and it is a plan we accept, we will bill your insurance plan." It should actually say, "We will bill your insurance if we feel like, it. Maybe. Do you feel lucky?" In addition to this big unexpected bill, I am having to file the claims myself and then file an appeal to try and recover the amount that Take Care grossly overcharged me. Please, please 'Take Care' that you avoid this unethical business unless you enjoy lots of expense, hassle, and being lied to. read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for about 6 years and the staff, nurse, and pharmacy personnel always seem professional, attentive, friendly, and courteous. I usually get my annual flu shot here and occasional visit to the clinic for other ailments. The store is well-stocked and easy to navigate. Most recently, I've had to get malarone for a trip to South Africa and now the family doctor has put me on 2 meds so I get my prescriptions filled here. read more

The past 3 times I have been to this pharmacy, it has been a minimum hour wait. The last time I went I was told it would be 30 minutes, when I was checking on the wait time after sitting patiently for 45 minutes, I was told the pharmacist had to look at the prescription and it would be 30 minutes. When I called to complain I was cut off 3 times. When I finally got the manager she acted like she didn't care. I will be transferring my prescriptions somewhere else.
