Above all, Mr James (who I guess is the manager at this location) adds a feeling of warmth that can change a moody day into a sunny one by greeting the customers with a large smile and his friendly personality. So far, this is the best Race Trac location I've encountered and I deliberately chose it, even when I have to go a little out of my convenience to get there, just for the overall experience.

There is a Publix, a Kroger, A Wal-mart and Ace Hardware all within walking distance of each other. It's located on the corner of Johnson Ferry and Shallowford Road which is very convenient. I hate gas stations that are filled with solicitors or inconsiderate ppl who just stall at the pump. this gas station isn't one of them and I love it for that. there's nothing special about this bp, besides the fact that they have an emissions, tire, quick lube station that's in the same vicinity (to the left) and a car wash to the right. they're "bp" labeled and convenient.

A convenience store is a convenience store...the only way to distinguish is by customer service…read more The regular employees are the rudest business owners I've ever met. They will never thank their customers, never. They have a sign at the register for a $5 min debit card, which is typical of the cheap attitude of the workers/owners. The las,t and final time I went I had a $4 purchase and they told me I had to buy a candy bar in order to reach their minimum charge. I told them I'd go across the street to Shell Station, and they reluctantly allowed my charge. My incident is obviously not a huge deal, but basically gives you the idea of what to expect. Go to one of the other 50 gas stations nearby.

After many years this station is closed…read more For many years I purchased fuel and had used the station for annual emissions test for my personal and company vehicles. Always busy station and had good service until the last test. The tech was expecting issues with the printer and lost his cool. Tossed a tool or two and almost struck another associate. Also observed a person working on front brakes and was not using the correct tools. Stopped by for fuel. No fuel, no lights were on. Perhaps the contract expired.

Instead of giving me the food, the clerk tells me I'm supposed to call ahead (not true) and that they don't have anything for me, basically blaming me for their inability to hold their end of the deal. When I insisted that they did in fact owe me $20 worth of perishable food items, he said to come back tomorrow and take it up with his manager.
