Friendly employees and only issue is fountain drinks be running out all the time. They need to stock better, but good gas station.

Frankly - I'm struggling to figure out how I haven't heard of this place and why no one has posted…read morepics. The oldest review is from 2012! For more than 8 years, I used to frequently visit a plant less than a mile from this place and had no idea it was here. The only thing I can think of regarding lack of photos is maybe the other diners are wolfing their food down before they can snap pics. Lol. I love a good, hot cheap lunch and this place fits the bill. I guess it's what some would call a 'hole in the wall,' but as long as you keep that in mind, for this type of eatery, they knocked it outta the park! Exterior / Interior It's a gas station / convenience store, located right on the corner of Allgood and Damar Rd. (It's less than 5 minutes north of The Big Chicken). Limited parking and be careful exiting the lot. It's on a curve, no traffic light and most motorists seemed intent on disobeying the speed limit. Interior seemed clean and orderly, most customers seemed to be buying food or scratchers. They have this virtual gambling machines and each one was occupied. Crowd was a mix of friendly working class folks and surly sour faced people cursing and trying to steal other people's joy. Food I ordered a turkey club for myself and a chicken philly with fries for the SO. I took the liberty of opening his sandwich and fries to take a pic. My turkey club was quite tasty. I would have his again but I'd ask for it to be placed in a Styrofoam container and I would probably omit the third slice of toast. Thanks to the tight, foil packaging, may sandwich got pretty steamed up by the time I got to my destination. My sweetie said his cheesesteak was excellent and he enjoyed his fries as well. The fries and tator tots have their own dedicated cooking station - and they looked and smelled delicious. Also want to give some Kudos for variety. The cooking area is TINY but somehow, in addition to cheesesteaks and burgers, they also have cold cut sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, shrimp PoBoys, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, beef / lamb gyros and hot dogs. They even have a veggie patty sandwich! Customer Service The 3 men behind the cash register were friendly and the person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and kind too. (I called to ask about hours and whether they had a menu online). The young lady doing all the cooking was friendly and efficient. She smiled as she asked if mushrooms and onions were ok on the Philly. She kept smiling as she asked if I wanted it dressed with mayo, tomato and lettuce and she thanked me for stopping by. She was manning the grill, the fry station and taking orders and still she managed to stay upbeat and pleasant. Price / Value I think the food prices are pretty reasonable. Another reviewer said the cheesesteak was $5 - either regular inflation or COVID ... it's $6.49. My turkey club was $5.79 and I think the fries were $1.89. They don't have any paper take-away menus (you know I asked) and no online presence so I snapped a few pics of the menu they have written on the an actual, old-school chalk board. Unfortunately, the chalk is very faint and the menu is very hard to read. COVID precautions None at all that I could see. No masks were worn by anyone. There is a plexiglass divider between the customers and the cashiers and the cooking area is on an elevated platform, but otherwise - nada! Overall Overall, once COVID is over, I would stop back by if I was in the area. They are open for breakfast and they stop cooking at 4pm, so I would suggest arriving no later than 3:30pm. If the owner reads this - I would LOVE to see a chicken gyro added in the future. Lol. You already have the flatbread, onions, Tzatziki sauce ... just use that tasty chicken you use on the chicken philly.

I give this QT a slight edge over the one nearby on Franklin Road (store #719) because it's bigger, cleaner, and feels safer. This QT has total of 20 pumps with a spacious filling and parking area. Like other QT locations, there is free air to fill your tires and the store is open around the clock, 24/7. This particular store has been around for several years, so it's got the older, more "boring," QT architecture and design as opposed to one of the metro's newer stores such as Buford Highway near I-285, Chamblee Tucker Road near I-85, and Clairmont Road near I-85. Despite its age, the station's gas pumps have held up well and are still in very good condition. The pumps' old school monochrome LCD displays remain sharp and easily readable in both daytime and nighttime. The keypad is a bit small and has been improved upon at newer QTs. However, it's still fully functional. Best of all, QT's gas prices are consistently among the lowest in the Atlanta area. You can only enter/exit this QT from Lower Roswell Road. I prefer the east driveway (away from South Marietta Parkway) for safer and easier in and out.

The shop is on the ground level of the 1800 building. Once I learned of the shop's dry cleaning service, I've been taking my dry-clean-only clothes here ever since. It's convenient and my garments are typically ready the next business day after 12pm. The dry cleaning is outsourced to a dry cleaner in Woodstock. The store does pick-ups and drop-offs daily. Prices can vary. The latest prices I've paid are $7.00 for a men's two-piece suit and $3.50 for dress pants, and $1.25 for a dress shirt. Credit cards are accepted with a minimum purchase price of $3.00. To date, I've never had a problem with any of the dry cleaning services. The newsstand also sells Georgia Lottery tickets, greeting cards, snacks (e.g. chips) and candies, ice cream treats, drinks (bottled water and soda), and miscellaneous small items such as office supplies, medicine, personal hygiene products, random gifts, wrapping paper and gift wrapping supplies. The selection and brand of products can be quite odd. I used to get hot dogs here, but that was many years ago. The rolling hot dog machine is still there, but I haven't seen it in operation recently. Like Parkway Newsstand, Parkway Cafe, in the 1850 building next door, also sells snacks such as chips and chilled beverages. It seems redundant and unfortunately, has taken some business away from the newsstand. Kay, the sweet lady who works here, has been at the shop since 2005.
