In a time when customer service in pharmacies is virtually nonexistent, this CVS location has been…read morea major exception. One employee in particular is responsible for this. After visiting a CVS location and being told that my medication couldn't be ordered for a 90 day supply at any CVS, I decided to put that to the test. I went to this location to check. The first order wasn't easy for them to fill right away, but one employee took ownership of my issue and went through a lot of trouble to get my medication delivered to me correctly in 90 day increments as they had been previously at another pharmacy. She has done this for me two other times since and has ensured seamless delivery of my very important medications. Demorea Harper is the Pharmacy Manager at this location. She took ownership of my issue and went the extra mile to make sure I could receive my medications on time in the proper quantity going forward. She is quite literally a life saver. Words cannot express how much I appreciate her hard work and dedication. I highly recommend seeing Demorea especially if your current pharmacy is not providing the customer service you need.

After a 2nd very polite request she proceeded to walk off without saying anything to me to go to the back of the store to get another person to help. While I appreciated her getting help, I felt kind of weird standing in the store by myself not knowing where she was going or if she was coming back. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but this has started to become the norm at RaceTrac locations in our area unfortunately.

I think I bought a soda and chips and $50 worth of gas. Got back into my car where I proceeded to breakdown. Embarrassed, I decided to drive home. As I get about 5 more miles down the road I heard a dinging coming from the dash warning me the car would be out of gas in another mile or so. This is when I panicked. What was I going to do? I was approaching another station but new I didn't have enough. I decided to call the race track I had just visited and explain the situation not only did she refund the entire transaction, but she did so immediately so that I would have the funds available . She told me it would be filled in a month. It was a monthly med and I was 29 days past the last script filled. My Dr sends in 2 at a time and she couldn't figure it out so I walked her through it. She was actually the most incompetent out of many incompetent employees. What made it better was she was sweet. Sweet, kind, helpful are not words customers use for this pharmacy. When I 1st started using them about 10 years ago the male at the window was not just rude, he was scary, threatening. A simple way to 4xplain their total lack if competence us this. Im 77, and I can't open child proof caps. It's on my record they pull off. I ask every time to make sure its not the childproof type. If I didn't ask or a family member picks it up I get childproof. If they are unable to read that, and give me the proper cap how can we be surprised when they make other " mistakes" The worst thing for me instead of ever apologizing, or being nice they lie to try and cover their mistakes up. CVS Corporate doesn't care. I think its time we turn to whoever governs Pharmacists. People including me continue using this pharmacy because its open 24 hours. In our busy lives that helps.
