All of the employees were so nice and very patient, but the shoppers at this location are the absolute worst -- like it's almost funny. So if you're going to tackle this location on a Sunday, please be patient and not in a hurry because everyone will test that patience in creative ways. The only rule was there are no rules. It was packed and loud, but the music was playing some jams! Happy to snag a couple bottles of affordable French reds, some amazing chocolates (Toffee Bits are worth every penny), and some new frozen treats to try. It was a fun adventure not for the feint of heart. So grateful it's not my regular grocery store because I feel like that was a lot of chaos for two small reusable bags worth of items.

Let's start with the cons so we can end on a high note, shall we? 1) The bathroom was horrendous. I don't do public restrooms unless I absolutely have to and this one was not good at all. 2) I get that the holiday season has arrived so people are out and about, but it was so congested it was uncomfortable. As in, the aisles were so tight, tons of stuff placed in the walkways, things like that. I even heard another customer say "this is giving me anxiety," and goodness I felt that in my core. I'm sure you have a lot of crap to put on the floors, but give us some space to walk, please. Thank you. Now for the positives... 1) While the checkout line was a mile long, they got through it quickly! 2) The dressing rooms were clean and they had plenty available. 3) While prices have gone up everywhere on the planet, it's still really affordable. 4) The people working there were really nice.

Service was so slow in my lane that they had to open a third. We all got caught behind an elderly lady who grabbed a household item without a tag. It was a mission. I would have said forget it. My wife and I frequent multiple Aldi locations almost weekly for groceries…read more The last time we went to this store, we first got produce. She selected a bag of russet potatoes. It looked like some of the potatoes were wet but we assumed it was just the packaging and placed it in the cart. We continued shopping and as we did, we noticed an offensive odor that permeated throughout the store. It smelled like dead mice or a very unpleasant bodily discharge. We exchanged several looks and continued shopping for approximately 30 minutes as we continued to be plagued by the smell. Upon checking out in the self-service area, we realized the smell was not in fact deceased rodents or another stench. It was in fact the rotting and now dripping bag of potatoes that we had carted around. This location offers the same carts for a quarter as they all do. There are multiple self-checkouts available with a few cashiers.

I picked up a bottle of juice labeled $1.99. I came to the register, and we made small talk, and I picked up two pieces of candy that she said were either 50 cents together or each. I handed her a $20, and she gave me $16 change. I asked about this difference, and she claimed the juice was now $2.99. I said that there was nothing that indicated this price whatsoever, but she didn't budge. I wanted to return it, and she said no refunds, and that she didn't care enough about this job to care about being fired. I said I wanted to speak to the manager, and she claimed to be the manager and that we were alone. Ultimately she told me to leave or she would call the police for trespassing, so I let her call the police. While the police were on the way, she set about changing the labels, which I made sure to record. When the police arrived, they agreed that this was an unfair turn of events while she spouted excuses about the Arabic owner not allowing refunds. Mysteriously, the Arabic owner then came out from the back and allowed the refund. She gave me my money back with a "get out of my store." Gladly. (She is a larger woman with dark hair and a large tattoo on both upper arms. If she is gone, all may be well.)
