We are in London weekly and take advantage of being there to shop at this Walmart. While the meats and produce we consume are purchased elsewhere there are real savings to be had by shopping here to supplement canned goods and such here. I love coming to this Walmart when I visit my brother in London Ohio. They usually have great clearance sales. And of course it's fun to see the Items that are local to London Ohio that I just don't see in San Diego County locations. For me it adds a dememtion to the road trip. I was driving from Cleveland Ohio back home to Kansas City Missouri. While I was trucking down the highway the sudden "flap flap" of a blown tire rang in my ears. I pulled over and discovered my rear driver side tire was completely popped. I called my insurance company and they dispatched a tow truck to my location. It was a Sunday and the only location open was Walmart's tire center. The truck arrived and loaded my car up and took me to Walmart. I had called earlier and they said if I made it in time they might be able to help me. I showed up 27 minutes before closing and was greeted by a completely empty shop. They "had to make sure it was okay with a manager first" but when they went to get the approval they pulled my car into the shop. They had the tire I was looking for in stock and were able to get me fixed up and back on the road in 20 minutes!! They discovered that a piece of metal had gone through my tire leaving two puncture marks and destroying the rubber. They then helped me get the best price available. I don't usually shop at Walmart but this experience was amazing. Special shout out to Nick, Ron, Doug, and Chris for helping me get back on the road for the remaining 9 and a half hours of my drive. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Walmart ton longer has layaway, and due to this when I seen they only had on electric scooter left I grabbed it and hid it behind some bed clothes until I got paid the following morning. Before I even left cops came told me I was not aloud in the store ever again or I would go to jail, so I'm kicked out because I'm struggling and wanted to make sure I got my son that scooter. I've never been more embarrassed 1 because I have cops all around me and 2 explaining I was hiding it because I didn't get paid untill in the morning. read more

CURBSIDE NIGHTMARE: I really needed a few items and after getting my "your order is ready for pickup" I arrive wait and wait after identifying my parking spot and then finally calling (mind you Im the only curbside customer waiting) only to be asked what's your name? Why is nothing ever stocked at the London Ohio Walmart. Was in the store today and throughout the entire store nothing was stocked. Deli area had hardly no items. Meat counter, lunch meat and cheese nothing. I inquired and was told they had nothing to stock. Is anyone in charge or this store? read more

Service was terrible. One cashier working. There were Long lines even for self checkout and lots of employees just standing around.

This rating has more to do with this Walmart's customers than Walmart in general. Too many of their customers are walking around without a mask on. I no longer do my grocery shopping there because of these inconsiderate people. Would like to see them confront these folks but I doubt this will happen. read more

I discovered I had a flat tire and was so close to our Walmart that I could limp the car there. Unfortunately, the tire center was closed because of Covid-19 but an associate was monitoring customer access and such. He saw me, asked what I needed and explained the whole center was closed. I told him I had a flat tire and couldn't drive anywhere. He graciously changed my flat out to my spare from my trunk so I would be able to get to a tire center. I offered to buy him lunch and even pay him cash but he refused saying it was a service Walmart offered anyone and even if I had been on the side of the road, he would have helped. Thank you, Justin! Have to knock a few stars off the Tire & Lube section of the store, the old guy was a grumpy bum. Think i will go to the Tire Shop (right by the Tractor Supply) next time i need an oil change in London.. better to support local independent business' instead of big Walmart establishments anyways. read more

I love this Walmart Supercenter. Not only are their shelves well-stocked and well-organized, employees like Cindy Ja are focused on helping customers. I should know.
