This week at Evelyns I got some of the biggest and hardy sweet potatoes for just .79 a pound and equally delicious tomatoes for 1.99 a pound. I also had my eye on the abundant and fresh supply of sweet onions, zuchinni, cabbage, and squash. Again the quality is superior to local grocers and prices are competitive. If you are not familiar with this part of town it can be tricky to find, south on parsons avenue just beyond the old schottensteins. The address is Marion rd but it is not marked, You will see E. Barthman on the west side, and Evelyn's is on the opposite side. Hours are Mon-Saturday 9:00-5:30 from Dec-March and 9:00-5:30 Mon-Sun April-November.
