I didn't even step foot in this Walmart, but they still deserve 5 stars! I called around noon to order a gender reveal cake for my sister, expecting the usual "24-hour notice" rule, but nope! The lady who answered was super friendly and said the cake could be ready by 3 PM--same day! That's faster than my DoorDash orders! When my sister picked it up, she couldn't stop raving about how cute it was, and the best part? It tasted just as good as it looked. Quick service, friendly staff, and a delicious, adorable cake? This Walmart bakery definitely understood the assignment! Would 100% call them again! read more

He couldn't answer me It logically doesn't make any sense because that didn't happen! So she got away with it she still working there but she got away with it $100 stealing from a lady in a wheelchair she got away with it that's bull shit In a few months ago the manager Jeff says he gave me $22.89 but I know he didn't give me a receipt so I know it was a lie so he ripped me off and keep in mind that's in customer service Kaylee another manager a few months ago gave me $3.86 on a gift card and never loaded the card and these are managers I went to Walmart corporate and they won't do anything about it last month they had an issue with their freezer where hamburger meat and stuff was running I had $27 and hamburger meat that was their fault Takia yet I got a customer service refuse to give me my money back that's my money! It's discrimination playing it simple everybody in their hates me Haley which when I was working for Walmart spark two of them come out and fired me how do you get fired from a job that's not even got nothing to do with them!? Andrea she treats me like s*** too she works in the meat compartment And a couple hours ago customer service she's checking the CD that hadn't been opened I bet you she works 5 minutes turning it over and over nose shot about six feet in the air saying it looks like it's been open yeah you're trying to open it now just give me my $8 back what she wouldn't do because I had to pay on three different things trying to pay for it and I ended up getting a gift card so she ended up getting the money back anyway And I get I have returns but that's my ride is a customer that's my money at the end of the day at the beginning of the day everything that's my f****** money These women employees their nose is shoots about 20 ft in the air when they see me . And all these women and when you're working at public you're not supposed to treat customers like their trash but unfortunately that's where I'm at that's what they do I've reached out to Walmart corporate they even ghost me but they're going to they're going to see me one day when I sue the s*** out of them We've been faithful customers for 30 plus years we've gave them most we've made them millionaires basically and then for them to turn around and treat their customers they're paying customers like trash it's unacceptable! Dee and Sara Nancy and Lisa Tammy are the only Walmart employees that actually treat me with the dignity and respect I deserve the other ones are straight trash Just left review that should have been shared year's ago read more

I actually really like this Walmart! It's very clean and spacious! The bathrooms are always tidy and they are nicely updated. There are lots of products always on hand, and staff is helpful and friendly. I like coming here to grab what I need. Lots of self-checkout stations to go to when in a rush. Definitely recommend! Went here again tonight and I had another pleasant experience and visit. read more

this based on the Walmart in Locust, North Carolina. I come to but today than irritated. It is literally a Thursday morning and there were only one register with a live person working and self check out. The both were ridiculous. Just curious why Walmart can't put more cashiers on board. An annoyed. read more

Seems well run and stocked for a Walmart. They really need to get Apple Pay. I had to leave my cart at checkout to go get my wallet out of the car to pay. Let's go Walmart, get with the times! read more

Walmart Supercenter - a car parked in a parking lot - Grocery Near Me - Locust, North Carolina

They allow dogs and they sell food. I don't want dogs near my food that I'm buying hoping it's uncontaminated. Bad decision by management get the animals out of the people stores or you will have less people including me! read more

The woman that checked me out was really rude!! They could improve on their attitude and there was a lot of trash on there Shelfs!!

Seriously, the best Walmart anywhere. Every Walmart managers should come here and see how they operate. Clean excellent customer service.

A Wal-Mart like most others, with a decent pharmacy and grocery section though as JL points out, there is no Tire and Lube. It does have all the usual dry goods, clothing, jewelry, toys and electronics like others. Slightly different layout - I was looking for the shoes department which is against the back wall in "my" Wal-Mart but in this one is in the middle of the store near the dressing rooms. The associate (that's what Wal-Mart calls "employees") who brought me over to the shoe area (instead of pointing and letting me figure it out like some other stores) was friendly, as was the pharmacy associate and the checkout girl. Yep, the parking lot and getting back on to the road heading east is a disaster. Maybe some signs would be helpful? At night, it must be very confusing if you don't know where you're going. read more

Constantly out of everything. Price increases have made it easier to shop at other merchants who are more convenient. Walmart is no longer the best game in town. read more

Walmart supplies it's customers smaller, easier to use shopping baskets and they will not let their customers use them. They hide then off on a side of the store so that if you don't go looking for them you are stuck using the big ones. They even put a dollar amount on how much each shopping cart will hold so if you use the smaller ones then, to them, they are losing money. But the elderly, or ones the have had hip, knee or back surgery, these smaller carts are easier to maneuver but when I asked why they are not oit for the customers to use the answer I got was they our machine isn't made for them. Never mind the customer. This company no longer thinks of the customer they only think of themselves read more

I visited this location today to pick up some lunch from the deli section. I had to wait for a few minutes due to the associate needing to replace some of the food that was on the bar. She apologized for the wait and was VERY pleasant. I was able to place my order, as well as add another item and she still remained pleasant. Some people don't realize that a little kindness goes a long way. I very much appreciate great service, no matter where i go. When it came time to check out, I went to a self check out (Not because I was being anti-social). I was able to scan my items and pay without any issues. This doesn't happen often, so I was glad! Your experience may differ from mine, but today Walmart of Locust deserves a 5. read more

Both my mom and I know so many people that work here and they are very nice people. This is a local store for me, as I am only about 1 mile from this store. As a retired law enforcement officer, I can say that I feel better about my family and friends shopping here than in some areas. Of course, always be careful, but the security cameras are installed where they should be, the local PD comes through a lot, and the lots are well lit. As far as shopping goes, I particularly love their clearance isles, where you can find great local deals. Overall, I think this is one of the best Walmart stores that I have been to. God bless! read more

My all time favorite Walmart! I go out of my way to go to this one. It's the cleanest, friendliest and the most well stocked.

Saturday, 3:10 pm 4 cashiers, what in the world odd management thinking. At least 8 people in each line. Would have given 0 stars but you can't. read more

Love to go here people are nice. That know me. The pay is good. I get a walmart card it help and food stomp to. Thank walmart locust nc.

Friendly, helpful workers and very clean store. Not usually a Walmart fan but I will definitely be using this as my go to

This IS NOT a Super Walmart! There is no auto center and the supermarket side isn't as large. In fact, the Locust Walmart is one of the WORST in the Metrolina area, based on 3 counts: 1. no self checkout coupled with few lines actually open, and 1 open after 10 PM. It's nearly impossible to get in and out without a major time waste 2. low selection of items compared to any other Walmart, and pales in comparision to the Super Walmart in Kannapolis (also 'country') 3. the parking lot design is rediculous. It routes you all over the place compared to the standard run of the mill WM parking lot. I suppose this could be due to the idiotic traffic pattern (Thanks NC DOT!) that has you turning right from the only two exits. Although this store is CLOSE to my house, it pains me to shop here. It's much more convenient for me to go to the Super WM near my work, or to travel to Kannapolis and shop Sam's and Walmart together. The only thing that saves this store is the fact that it's the only game in town for a supermarket except Food Lion. read more

We quit going here for groceries. You could never count on them having what we needed week in/week out. Poorly managed, poorly run, horrible inventory/ordering management, somewhat uncaring when asked where certain product was or why it was out of stock. I've seen basic items run out for no apparent reason...even when asked they don't really have an answer. This tells me whomever is doing the ordering has no clue what they are doing. It's across the board too - veggies/meats/can goods/breads/etc.... We quit going here because we still ended up at Publix or Food Lion to fulfill our grocery list....might as well go to Publix & get it all w/o the additional time/gas spent because the local Walmart runs out of basic things or in most cases they'll carry an item for a few weeks then they won't, then they will again, then they won't - keep repeating. It's impossible to plan a grocery trip to this store because of that & combined with poor inventory control as a whole. Worthless grocery department. read more

Where is the manager that is in charge of seeing that the shelves are stocked? More times than not when I shop here they are completely out of items I need. Ricotta cheese? How can the whole shelf for any brand of ricotta cheese be out. Was there a recall I do not know about?? Many empty spaces on many shelves today. read more

This is a really nice Walmart. I live in Brandon, FL and compared to there Walmarts this is the tops. This has nice aesthetics outside, clean inside, and not crazy busy like the Walmarts in Florida. The lines move quick and they actually have enough open lanes to get you out faster. Be luckily you visit this walmart, I feel safe here. read more

Probably the cutest Walmart I've ever seen. The architecture of the building is very craftsman like and the employees keep the store clean and stocked inside. It's right next to Red Bridge golf course and seen from the fairways. If I lived closer I would come here more often. There is ample parking and I do not think it was as busy as most walmarts are on the weekends. read more

I hate going to Walmart, you always end up waiting forever to check out...are those 500 registers for show? Cashiers are ridiculously slow yet you'll always see supervisors standing around chatting. The customer service here is worse than any other walmarts I've been to! read more

Wal-Mart in locust is the best one to go to and the young Lady at the service desk Ruby is very help full when you ask her about a problem

By far my favorite Walmart Store! Clean, Spacious, Fast Checkout, Bakery is excellent, Great Selection, Friendly Customer Service, Store Layout is Convenient, Just all around great store. I am in the middle between the Locust and Albemarle store and prefer this store by far. The only thing I don't like about the setup is of course the routing to get out of the parking lot and back on 24/27, but that was probably NCDOT's fault. read more

Sadly we come all the way to shop at walmart here due to the nice workers and great location. As many times as we come here I've never met such rude worker like this lady before. Sunday night june 14,2015 around 10:40pm, African American short hair mid age woman working as stacker at paper and cleaning dept. As me and my baby was coming out of the detergent/soap aile, she came by with a hand truck and a empty pallet and saw me coming out and look straight at me and my baby made a gesture with her head And roll her eyes and in a rudely tone told us "COME ON" like we took up the whole aile!! I understand jobs can be stressful but why take your anger out on customers!! read more

I recently bought a product called Pet Care for fleas. I can't tell you how disappointed in this product that I am. it did not work at all. I didn't keep my receipt , & plan on calling the manager for some kind of satisfaction. I will let everyone know that I can via Facebook, yahoo, word of mouth if I can't get results. I had to dose 3 dog's & the ad's made this product sound that it was just as good as Frontline. I plan on getting some kind of refund, as I have been a very loyal customer, if I don't, you will lose a lot of business. anyone thinking this product works........do not waste your money, it's very pricey. rose karban read more

My overall walmart experience was very good here. The employees were very nice and easy to find if you need help, unlike other walmarts. I also found a person selling directv in the entertainment section and she helped me get an amazing deal on my service...keep it up guys! read more

Best Wal Mart I've ever been in. The customer service from the associates is top of the line. It is always clean and neat open spaces. Employees are great, very clean store. But the deli fried chicken isn't very good. Annoying trying to go left out of the parking lot.
