It was pouring raining outside so I knew I could take my time while I was there! Because, I'm here from Atlanta I'm not that familiar with this location! When I walked in I asked an associate where were the socks. She sent me in the wrong direction, so I asked another and she told me where they were. I found the socks and was looking for the ones that was in their ads. They wasn't their nor was there a sign showing that they might have been there! I must have spent pretty close to 20 minutes looking for these socks. They were not there! At this point i'm thinking "bait n switch!" This was not the 1st time I've shopped this location based on something that was listed in their ads and ran into the same results! I made my way to what is left of their toy section! That's when I notice this tall black guy following me! I knew he was following me because, I made my wat to the book section and he was there too three isles over just standing there! I purposely took my time looking for books for a 2 yrs old. And sure enough he was still there watching me. Finally, the rain eased up and I took my items to the checkout and he was there too! He made a purchase and I remember thinking, maybe he was a customer, until instead of going out the door, he walked to the back of the store. I get it, shoplifting is a issues especially in today economy, but everybody is not a shoplifting! And being followed around a store that practice "bait n switch" really made me feel some kind of way! I'm angry, but I get it! I have been the store in Gastonia and although they had one in stock, it is currently being used as decoration. I didn't want to purchase the item that way. So I took to the website and explored online. I spoke to the employee who showed me where the item was in the store. I asked about any coupons that were available but she directed me to make an online purchase and use its coupon. I was able to get 20% off online. I walked around the mall as the order was being transferred to this location. When I came back, around 45 minutes later, the item was ready for me to pick up. The only issue I had was the employee, who was not my original SA, did not check my order number or ID to make sure it was me. She just asked that I sign for it and it was all mine. I thought there may have been some additional precautions to pick up the item, but there wasn't any. Anyone could have come up and said that item was theirs and walk out with it.

On top of that, there was a live band playing somewhere on the property, and the sound carried throughout the entire building. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!
