I had a Walmart egiftcard sent to my email. I looked at the email and there is a barcode the cashier is supposed to scan from your phone. They refused to scan it. The email even gives instructions on how to scan the Walmart egiftcard. But they just refused to scan the barcode on my phone. So I just left everything there and walked out. They did say I should print it out. IMO that defeats the purpose of an egiftcard and is unsafe because the email has the pin number also. It feels like they don't want you to spend that egiftcard funds at all. J read more

Absolutely horrible service . The employees have no clue where anything is and the people who work in the electronics department need to be trained in that fuel and also in customer service . They have no clue about half of the stuff they sell . read more

Supercenter is a pretty good description of this Walmart. Days of available parking outside, the staff has a presence to help with any questions and the selections are always great. I find most Walmart the same. There are few store employees, checkout lines all the time and store shelves always look like a rototiller got loose and tore them up. They are large stores with few offering and usually not typical or useful to the area they serve. The fresh offerings like produce are hit or miss mostly misses. Their staff is poorly trained in food rotation and there is no management follow up. The value is there but again watch for those "made for Walmart" items because the weight, quality and design may vary from what you are used to in a regular store. I only shop here in a pinch or when the local Acme tries to require amputating my right arm for payment for some russet potatoes or something. read more

Id like to recognize two cashiers who I feel are amazing Bill and Jeff who are fromt end cashiers. We drive from egg harbor city to this walmart because the store is so clean helpful and organized. Not to mention the two best cashiers we ever encountered. I feel like I know them personally just by talking to them jeff with his painting which is amazing and bill with his happy go lucky personality and still so kind and sweet both of them deserve recogniton for there services. I have shopped this Walmart since from first day it opened, only complaint is every time I go to check out I have to get my purchases corrected. Price marked on shelving is not what items are ringing as, may only be .10 to .42 cents per item but it adds up. I have told employees and the store manager and they always blame the vendors. Before I have to go to DCA to have this corrected I only hope it will be. The thousands of people that lose money every year is a disgrace. Prices are high enough.... Mike L. read more

Quality is lacking. I'm half blind and can't read the skews. Things are not in correct spot and every associate blames it on the supply guys taking space. If that's the case - no one is saying anything, my job is to hide? Prices are always changing. Meaning what nothing in warehouse? Walmart buys in large bulk. Coffee creamer 1.68 5 months ago now 3.48. Why? It stays long in the warehouse. Delivery sent me 4 peach cans dented. Fruits spoil in a week. Someone told me that there's only 9 states ban plastic bags. Democrat states. They took away plastic bags and will sell you a bag for 1.00 or more.the clothing dept is the only dept with knowledgeable associates and polite.. if only Sam was still alive. A man with a heart. Aldi's is looking better and better. And they have boxes read more

This is one of the nicer Walmarts in the area. I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and they keep the store very clean. I would give it five stars however I use Walmart plus on a regular basis. On more than one occasion the order has been delayed and at one moment did not show up. If you are utilizing Walmart plus I would use one of the earlier appointments. read more

This Walmart is huge, clean, and organized. Probably the most organized Walmart I have ever been in. The food section is also amazing. My only complaint would be that the make up section could be a little bit more expensive, but the Walmart in Manahawkin covers my make up needs. Will definitely be coming back here read more

This store was a long time coming to our little town. Overall, the store is very clean and well kept. They stock a ton of items in the grocery side as well as the regular household, etc. products you would expect at a Walmart. A previous reviewer who claimed to go to the store 3 times the first week said that the store is "a headache to go to." That's just silly! It was a little shaky the first week or two with new employees trying to find item locations or get help from managers if they couldn't answer questions. But these issues have been handled. I've been to the store at least twice a week since it opened. The deli counter has a new number system that took a few days to get set up eliminating a lot of the wait times previously mentioned by another reviewer. And as to the negative review posted about the employees not being enthusiastic, well, it's Little Egg Harbor, NJ...and it's Walmart, NOT Disneyland! Where can you go today and find people jumping up and down over their jobs? Don't let someone griping and giving a 1 star review let you think that this store isn't a great place to shop and save money. They have lots of items in every department, the staff if knowledgeable and the manager has his phone number posted at the entrance in case you have a problem or want them to carry a specific product. Their pickup service was absolutely dreadful. I waited 20 minutes in front of a locked door. Apparently there's one key and they couldn't find the guy who had it. Other people kept walking up to the desk, seeing the locked door, and leaving. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

If I could give them less than a star I would they advertise items they don't have then the next day put them on clearance knowing they don't have them then when you ask to speak to a manager they give you a load of crap and say I'll take care of you let me go get the manager above me then the manager about them treat you like you just crawled out from under the boardwalk and don't have a penny to spend I would never recommend buying anything from this Walmart especially not from the electronics department they don't care about customers or customer service read more

I was very excited that this store was opening! I must say though after going 3 times the first week, I have not been back. Certain department employees were not trained properly and the wait at the cold cut line is ridiculous! I went to Acme today for cold cuts. Employees do not know where items are, or if they even carry them! I realize it is a new store, but the lack of enthusiasm by the employees is depressing! These people were not trained properly and it's a honestly a headache going in here! The manager needs to step it up, and get this store organized! It's a shame! read more
