Bought a couch. Delivery contractor in a rent a truck DO NOT care about customer requests for delivery. I requested a morning delivery as I had to drive back to Philadelphia after. They drove right past my delivery location to start at the farthest location away and deliver mine last. At 4:20 in the afternoon they delivered, left me sitting all day waiting as I had a delivery window of 11-3pm. 2 1/2 hours in rush hour traffic to get home. They are NOT Boscov employees so do NOT care about Boscov customers. Do not buy furniture there!!!!! read more

I visited Boscov's for the first time in a long time specifically for the post-Christmas sale, and many items were discounted by 75%. In addition to other great deals, there were also sweets available. It was helpful to see price check machines throughout the store and there were shopping carts available. Any department can check out your items, but the store does not accept Apple Pay. The mall is no longer connected to Boscov's and there is no longer a mall on the premises. The store has implemented shields at the checkout to protect customers and employees. There is free parking available. To improve the shopping experience, it might be helpful to provide a map of the different departments in the store. Additionally, a cafe would be a welcome addition, as would disposable napkin holders to purchase in the store. read more

A store not food review. Well all I can say is this store is GREAT ! The sales the quantity and quality is above average. I almost always leave with a pair of shoes or sandals, not to mention a new top or two. Actually it is hard to pick out a single blouse or shirt , there are so many. Wish it was closer to my home. Last evening, Thursday September 15, my wife and I went to the Egg Harbor Township, NJ location to purchase a suit for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, like many businesses these days, staffing left something to be desired. Fortunately for us though, John was working in the men's clothing department. When he finally got a free minute after attending to many other customers, he came over greeting us kindly and asked if we needed help. He quickly found a jacket, pants, shirt, ties, and socks that not only fit perfectly but looked terrific together. Not an easy task because being tall and somewhat muscular, we always have difficulty finding clothes to fit me. He was very personable, and humorous which helped to build a rapid rapport with us. He also smelled great, and I told him so. He couldn't recall what cologne he had put on yesterday. I just wanted to share our encounter with John and make known what an awesome job he did. Having worked in several positions in the last 35 years, all with varying degrees of customer service, I wanted to recognize John for being a great attribute to Boscov's organization. read more

Great store. They have anything you need. I whent there for formal clothes and they had a large selection and i was amazed. The kids seccion is great as well. Though i think if the moved to the Hamilton Mall in the vacant spaces it would do more buissness and it would help the Hamilton mall thrive. But apart from that it is a great store. Wouldn't allow me to cancel my order. I am at a university with no access to a car. I can't send them the product back for a refund. University may or may not ship out the package when it eventually arrives. Order was placed a few hours before I tried to cancel it. Ridiculous. Hello All, I hope that this makes it's way through the proper channels in order to properly recognize an individual on your team and commend them on being the epitome of incredible customer service. Back in June I visited the local Boscov's nearby where I live. Side note, I never enjoy shopping for myself. It is just one of those tasks, like folding laundry, that I just never enjoy doing. However, this visit was easily the most enjoyable shopping experience I have had hands down ever in my entire life. I came into the store seeking clothing for work, suits and shirts to be specific. As I cringed my way into the Men's fashion area I was greeted by a very well mannered young man named Michael. He was extremely professional, polite and most of all knowledgeable! Any and every concern or question that I brought to his attention he blew away with an option or recommendation. I was SO impressed that I went from just coming into the store for 1 suit and 1 shirt to buying 2 suits, 2 pairs of slacks and 4 shirts. Michael gained my trust, appreciation and respect. He provided a very welcoming experience for me. I hope that if he is still in that store that he can be recognized in some way for doing an amazing job. i never write reviews but i had such help from John, semi older gentleman with glasses who works in the dress clothes area, he was very busy and being pulled each way by customers. He managed to answer/help everyone in a very professional, quick, manner. he helped me find what i needed without hesitation took my measurements, found my fit, offered suggestions and continued to help everyone else along with ringing people up. He is an all star player on your team! Deserves a raise For sure! read more

Next to Burlington Coat Factory, this is one of only two stores to survive the death of Shore Mall. And I swear I feel like it hasn't missed a beat. They've got so much clothing for sale that taking inventory looks impossible and it's actually a challenge to avoid getting lost while walking around. It's a whole other world in here. The age of the place really shows but that's to be expected. I once found a Michael Kors brand winter coat worth something like $300 and it was being sold here for only $75. What's annoying about this place is you often will go to look at an item on the rack and you'll find the MSRP tag instead of the actual price - that drives me insane. But overall it's a decent store. The selection's especially geared toward old people (you'd see what I been if you walked around) but again, a decent store. read more

Most of time I do enjoy my shopping at Boscov's.But this time I got disappointed to checkout at the outdoor furniture over the counter.I got a couple from Boscov's for 15% off clothes and shoes and 10% off furniture or something else.So I used the coupon for 15% off on my clothes on June 2 nd.So they marked the date,.When I checked out yesterday for my garden stuff purchases,they refused to offer me the 10% off discount due to that I had used the coupon on June 2.I explained that I didn't use 10% off.But the cashier was saying that I didn't understand what the coupon thing, since they signed the date.It's one time use for that day.I said no way.I never used that 10 % off ,why you guys never let the customer to use instead of saying that has been used.As a customer,I would like let the company know that the policy should be more flexible.And the cashier could offer the best help and care for a customer instead of arguing for over 10% off discount.Sometimes the cashier could use an expired coupon without questions.It really depends on the cashier.The company need to improve more customer service skills.Such as the way that how to talk to a customer.......show some respect n care about the customer.So that they will have more returned business.It will take me a long time to walk back in the building again! read more

The store is very cluttered but with that being said you can score some great deals. They always have sales going on and you never pay msrp.

I bought a mattress and it irritated my fiance's neck. They refuse to return it they said its nonrefundable but I was told I could return it after 30 days. I am stuck without a mattress to sleep on until the mattress from amazon comes in that I ordered. Customer service is rude and all they care about is getting their money they have no respect for their customers well being. Amazon and any other mattress place would allow returns easy. I will never buy a mattress from boscovs ever again. It's also Christmas time so its even worse that I cant return it and that I'm stuck with it until this issue gets resolved. read more

I have no problem shopping here. However during the friends helping friends event I had entered their cosmetics counter mens and womens fragrance basket giveaway. (Just so you know, they only make the gift baskets with tester bottles so you cannot give as a gift or anything because the bottles are stamped tester) the bottles didnt even have the tabs to prove they havent been used. The basket is was just a random box with 2 pieces of tissue paper and some tulle wrap on the outside held by a rubber band. I reached out to the company regarding this and I got a call back from the assistant manager about said basket. I was assured that the fragrances were the hottest and newest. However I did some research and they are last years or olders hotter scents. But no one helped me, i even offered to give the basket back. The assistant manager brushed it off and I urge anyone to not enter those giveaways as the product was definitely sprayed before. It's not new product . read more
