I just love this store! I think it's one of the best on Asbury Avenue!…read more By the look of it, you'd think it would be expensive, but it's really not. Great and unique selection of varied items. I have been loving and collecting happy face paraphernalia since I was a kid, and got a great and adorable happy face tote for only $12. Very sweet young lady at the counter, and Prince was playing! Take a look when you're in town!

What drew me in was the beautiful displays and soft colors. The clothing and accessories were all unique and the store is arranged by color. The staff was friendly and all gorgeous. They were a good representation of the store by their styling. It appears they shop were they work. Prices were in line with a trendy mall store. I was in both locations, which are almost across the street from each other. One is junior sized (although it wasn't advertised as such). As a larger woman I wish they would have carried size xl, but managed to fit in some large sizes. The other store is ladies wear but doesn't carry as much and although it had that same soft color aesthetic the style was more mature resort wear. They have several locations, including one focusing solely on accessories and just recently opened an online store. I loved the style of the junior store. Just wished they carried larger sizes. SIDENOTE: Both stores I visited were blocks from the beach in a very walkable area. Metered street parking was hard to find.

I've visited this shop a few times over the years and was thinking of going there recently, but…read moreremembered that the times I've been, even though there was a nice selection of clothes, the owner rushes her patrons and shames them for not purchasing all they try on. Knowing I was going to spend a lot, I prefer to go to places that appreciates my business.

UNPARALLELED shopping experience! I typically never find clothes that I like, I get overwhelmed in…read morebig department stores, and I always walk out of other stores frustrated & empty-handed. Until I discovered CHIC BOUTIQUE--life changing! The inventory of beautiful clothes is so vast that I always walk out of there with a minimum of 2 shopping bags, (which is unheard of for me if I shop elsewhere-- I don't even like to shop!!) The owners have a great eye and buy beautiful garments to stock in their lovely boutique. But even beyond that, it's the high-touch customer service that keeps me coming back to this spot. The 2 ladies who run the store are exceptional. They give just the right amount of service: not too much where you feel like they're pushing you to buy something, but enough that they're always ON IT. They help you find things that would look great on you and they always take your armful of clothes to the dressing room so you don't have to schlep them around while you're browsing. It is the perfect amount of assistance. They also give honest feedback in the dressing room ranging from: "That looks amazing on you!", to "Nope. I don't love it. Here, give it to me, I'll put it back for you."; so there is no hard-sell with this shopping experience. I honestly feel like I have my own personal assistant whenever I shop there. They are truly a delight to work with and they have helped me SO much. The experience is so wonderfully atypical that I don't even bother to shop anywhere else anymore. This is my one and only go-to place because it's that successful, every time. Ask for Meredith or Andrea when you go and I'm sure they'll make your experience exceptional like they do for everyone. CHIC BOUTIQUE is a rare find. And I never take the time to write a review, but these 2 ladies really do deserve the props.

I've only ordered from Little Black Bag twice, but I am already a LBB addict. The concept is…read moresimilar to that of a subscription box, but it's a sub box on steroids. First off, you can sign up to be a "VIP" member. It's $9.99 per month and you get $10 in merchandise credit. (It rolls over if unused, so don't worry about feeling like you have to buy every month.) The prices that you see on the website assume that you're a VIP member. If you aren't, then your prices will be slightly higher than what appears on the page. LBB offers a variety of accessories like shoes, hats, scarves, shoes, jewelry and BAGS of course. They also offer a few home items, but nothing exceptional as far as I'm considered. What's cool about LBB is that the price you see on the screen is a bundle price. You'll get the item you pick--say a purse--plus 2 other items that you're allowed to trade with other members for 7 days. It's a little bit of a gamble since you could get something completely dreadful, but I feel that I'm a pro since I've done two bags already. Pros: -Your first box will be discounted. Just look for promo codes all over the interwebz and you'll get a good deal. Mine ended up being around $30 with shipping. -It's very easy to trade up and end up increasing the value of your bag. -Products so far have been good quality and I've not had any complaints. -I ended up with all items that I love. If you don't, however, they have a return policy that allows you to send back anything you're unhappy with. Cons: -Addicting as sh*t. I found myself never wanting to step away from the computer while my bag was open. If someone offers a trade, it sends it to everyone that has that item. If there are 10 people that are emailed with the trade, the first person that accepts gets the trade. Basically, you snooze you lose. I lost out on a few items that I liked because someone else beat me to the punch. -People have no common courtesy with trading. I had $50 earrings in my bag and was offered $10 nail wraps as a trade. There should be a way to auto-decline particular items, but there's not. You'll continue getting these unfair trades that you'll have to manually decline. -The items are zoomed in when you're looking at the picture. A lot of my jewelry has been way bigger in the picture than when I received it. Looks are deceiving. I also learned the hard way about how to trade and what not to trade. I had a purse in my first box that I loved but traded for two pairs of earrings. At the time, it seemed like a good decision since the value was the same, but I was kicking myself later. (The earrings are gorg though and I'm so glad I got them.) My second box I told my husband to not allow me to trade away my purse. All in all, LBB is one of my new favorite sub services that I highly recommend. When my husband saw that I spent $60 on my last LBB, he wasn't happy and so there's a moratorium on LBB's for now or else I probably would have got another one today.

I've done a few boxes with LBB for about a year off and on , honestly things have gone down hill…read moresince they changed their pricing . You use to be able just to buy a $30 or $50 dollar bag . main item for higher priced one had a handbag of your choice and then there add ons . Trading is horrible now because who really would want to trade a purse they paid $80 for Vs the person who paid $45 ? I after a long absence I was in need of a new purse so hopped back onto their website. picked a purse I thought I wanted and opened up the bag . Got a few jewelry items that I would never wear so tried to trade away , in the past you would have tons of offers thrown your way , not anymore , took two full days just to get a trade . They did have "Cupid " on there which was basically an employee trading with people one day and I was lucky enough to get a trade . Gave my jewelry up to him for another handbag . Flash forward , got my package yesterday , although the handbag I picked out was pretext and "nice " the one I traded to Cupid for looked nothing like the picture . It is hideous and very cheap looking ( of course online it looked all beautiful ) , going to have to find that handbag a home if not it's going to the back of my closet . so I do have one more package coming my way from them . Hoping these handbags are better . Probably won't do LBB for a while again , if ever ,.
