The machine wasn't working properly so we thought we could exchange it. We called in and they said we were able to exchange it for a different one. Once we got there, the manager wouldn't give us a refund or exchange since it was 5 hours after renting. Since it's in the contract, the manager wouldn't budge. Since we were renting it for a week, we thought it would be no probably and easy peasy to exchange. Nope! We will never be using them again. We are going to rent from Lowe's in egg harbor township.

Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

I watched coworkers lift lawn mowers without a forklift or a pallet jack, that is not safe, correct or right In any way shape or form. Don't even get me started on the parking lot.And how dirty it is, what is going on that people are just throwing their trash on the ground and not picking up after themselves.
