Store is clean but not very well stocked. They have a lot of small mediums and very few large and X L sizes. This store isn't as big as the one in Beach Haven and that store doesn't carry a lot of larger or XL either. A few years ago they changed some of the brands they sell and I'm not totally thrilled with the newer stuff but they do have some nice closing. read more

A big shout out of appreciation to Brendan in the Ship Bottom Store! If you want the epitomy of a customer service experience, Brendan is the best! Was trying to locate a decorative piece not available in the store. Brendan took the time, patience and know-how to reasearch the item, find it and have it shipped to my local B & B store. Business' need more employees like Brendan who genuinely make customers feel like they matter which, in turn, motivates customers to return to the store and seek out Brendan! B & B seems to be a regular destination for us each year as they usually have an outstanding selection of bathing suits, clothing, and jewelry at decent (not TOO marked up) prices. Stopped in this year primarily because the kids wanted necklaces...and they both found great ones that were both under $10. I could have bought myself a few items, but I swore I wasn't going to get suckered in this year. It was tough, but I did it. I definitely recommend B & B for anyone looking for some better made bathing suits and clothing...a lot of the stuff sold on the island tends to be crappy, touristy stuff, but you'll find better quality here. read more

I routinely come here as they have an array of quality board shorts. Their store is clean and always has a decent amount of merchandise. I've been coming here for a few years always walking away feeling I got a solid deal. read more

Great store. Isles crowded!?! Yeah, because they have a ton of great stuff. Near clothes, beach items and everyday wear. Staff is great as well. Was there today and witnessed a horrible women try and shame the manager into taking back crocks that the woman obviously wore, broke and tried to repair. She tried to shame the manager by video taping her insane tirade and claim she would post on Yelp if store didn't give $ back. I stepped in and defended the clerk/manager who was polite, pointed out store police (which is clearly posted in store and on receipt) and courteous. I told woman her beef is with Crocks not B&B. I let manager know I would post positive review on their behalf. BTW, on way out wacko woman yelled "get a life" at me and my young son. Just shows how off her rocker she was. Anyway, shop at all the B&B's, I do and never had an issue. Just as at any store you need to be a good consumer, know the store where you purchase, know their return policy and save your receipt. read more

This store is a pos. Cheap owner refuses to turn on air conditioning or open windows, everything is a mess. Literally the only good thing about this place is the workers. The girl that helped me was very nice and patient and listened to everything I had to say. Fix your management/owner issues or don't put children to work in your hot ass store. read more

Similar to the B&B in Beach Haven (see other review), this B&B tends to carry more women's and juniors items. Plenty of tees, tanks, active wear, and swim wear. This B&B also has more of the household decorations than the one in Beach Haven. But it is the same good quality and discounted prices. In August there is a sidewalk sale. Note that the sale is cash only and you have to pay for the items before you can bring them inside to try them on. Best bet for ladies is to wear your swimsuit and just try the clothing on over it. read more

Some interesting clothes if you weigh 120 lbs. For us "mature" folks, everything is a little too snug. But they have some great prices on stuff towards the end of the season. read more

B & B is great for bathing suits and really anything you need for your beach stay. The clothes are very unique and lovely. My only reason for not giving a five is that there is a lot in the store and it is difficult to move around in esp. if it is crowded. Real quality stuff here and the staff here is friendly as well. Mid to late August they have great sales on their summer stuff. read more

I think the actual address is Ship Bottom and not Surf City but oh well. I'm not the biggest fan of this store. It's almost tough to maneuver around as the actual inside of the store is crammed and packed with various merchandise. I prefer going across the street to grab any beach gear. They do have a solid selection of beach chairs. That part of the store is one of the better selections on the island. Prices are OK - definitely some island markup going on here. Decent enough to stop in and grab something quick. read more

My friends and I were amazed at the variety and selection that this store has. They had a lot of great brands that I have heard of, and some that I have never seen before. My girlfriends and I spent over an hour there shopping for bathing suits, and stuff to wear out at night. We are definitely going to return next summer. read more
