He gave my dad a good deal on the Santa clause that was there!! and me and my son really liked these miniature boats that were there and bought both of them!! I probably would come back to this store again sometime again!! If you guys want to check it out for yourself, it is right across from Tuckers Tavern! Unfortunately, the only thing I don't like about this antique shop is the hours. I just am annoyed that they are only open on Sunday.. I wish they were open Saturday and Sunday. Like how John could be at the jewelry store on the weeks, and he could stay at the antique shop for Saturday and Sunday. Just giving a suggestion. Anyway, good place! I do love the stuff inside. As we started to walk out she questioned that my daughter took the ring and the man said I paid. We then walked out and were almost down the block when she (owner I'm assuming) started screaming down the block, "Excuse me, you didn't pay for that ring!" I replied I did the man did it for me. I politely went back to the store and she was so accusatory that I "stole" her merchandise. As I said to her that's what he rung it up for, she said well it's $10, not what he charged. She was extremely unprofessional in her tone and how she handled it all. Yes, I had no problem letting her know that I will not return due to her poor service and way she spoke to me throughout it all. Good business practice would have said it's our error and not asked for the extra. Of course, I paid the difference but she continued to be rude and had the audacity to say, "I'm sorry you think I'm being unprofessional but I'm a New Yorker." Poor excuse when you run a business that I actually would have returned to.
