The clothes are geared towards younger people with a big Junior's girl section. There were cute cover-ups, sun dresses, shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, and other women's clothes. They had some adorable infant clothes too. The men's section was pretty large, with a lot of t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. The t-shirts had some unique designs in them and seemed to be better quality than most of the small touristy shops have in LBI. They were $28. I got a cute and unique embroidered, framed, glass sign that says, "You are my sunshine." So cute! They have a small selection of candy up front near the registers too. The prices can be a little expensive for what you get sometimes, but the name brand labels that are pricier, also seem to be better quality. They also have beginning of the season sales and I got my sign on sale, so was happy about that. The employees were pretty friendly and nice. I'll definitely go back to B&B to shop. There are two stores on the island, this one, and one in Ship Bottom. Other stores are in Lavallette, Ocean City, and Seaside Park. If you're near a B&B check it out the next time you need some clothes or just feel like browsing. The stores are pleasant to shop in and have cute items!

I stepped in and defended the clerk/manager who was polite, pointed out store police (which is clearly posted in store and on receipt) and courteous. I told woman her beef is with Crocks not B&B. I let manager know I would post positive review on their behalf. BTW, on way out wacko woman yelled "get a life" at me and my young son. Just shows how off her rocker she was. Anyway, shop at all the B&B's, I do and never had an issue. Just as at any store you need to be a good consumer, know the store where you purchase, know their return policy and save your receipt.

The older associate then commented loudly that my daughter had no meat on her bones. It is totally unacceptable to comment on another person's body, or what they are wearing. Nobody asked for her opinion. It was not at all appreciated, it was offensive. Extremely unprofessional. We were all so uncomfortable that we left immediately. Body shaming is never acceptable! Especially on international women's day. After more than 30 years shopping here I will never return.

The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. You can also get keys made here. There is clothing. Nowadays it's mainly swimwear and LBI attire but there is some resort wear and flip flops mixed in. There is a back room of beach supplies - chairs, umbrellas, coolers. Right when you walk in are souvenirs and other beachy gift items. There is a health and beauty aisle in case you forgot to pack an over-the-counter medicine, need suntan lotion or bug spray. And don't forget the toy aisle, it also is pretty extensive. Prices are not too outrageous for a local store only open in the summer.

The email even gives instructions on how to scan the Walmart egiftcard. But they just refused to scan the barcode on my phone. So I just left everything there and walked out. They did say I should print it out. IMO that defeats the purpose of an egiftcard and is unsafe because the email has the pin number also. It feels like they don't want you to spend that egiftcard funds at all. J
