The woman helping me quickly figured out what I liked, and brought over a few things she thought would work. What really surprised me was they knew what would fit me perfectly before I even told them what size I am. Ended up leaving with a couple shirts, pants, and a jacket that all fit great. They showed me how versatile all the pieces were and taught me how to put outfits together that I felt good in. I especially appreciated that she was honest when something wasn't the right fit instead of just trying to make a sale.Really nice selection of men's clothing that feels different from what you find at most stores, and the quality is excellent. Great service. I'll definitely stop in again next time I'm on the island.

The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. The clothes are mostly basic sweatshirts and sweatpants with their logo on them. They are pricey! I purchased a basic hoodie for my kid that costs ~$108 along with other overpriced clothing! But for some reason the kids are mesmerized, believing these are some kind of magical clothes that they must have! Some of these clothing items didn't even have price tags and so i guess the message here is kids will buy this no matter the price? With these prices, I would have expected a store that offered a more upscale ambience. Instead,, i see clothes stacked on the floor, under the clothing tables and on the bench where I thought I might be able to sit while my kids shopped! At one point, I picked up a sweatshirt that looked like it was stepped on, with dirty shoe marks on the sleeves which I doubt will come off. There is no air conditioning and it felt stuffy and hot with all the teens packed in that small space. I'm even ok with all this, having made the purchases with eyes wide open. However, what bothers me is that the prices on my receipt were different from what they quoted me! When I inquired, they told me it was a credit card fee. I didn't see any signs notifying of this fee. It's one thing if I was informed about it but another thing if they automatically charged it.
