The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. After it was delivered, we opened it and realized it was a regular mattress. We called the store and the manager, Steve, was unwilling to exchange the mattress. When my husband called back a few days later the manager told him that we can exchange the mattress. We tried calling the store back to tell them we wanted to do this and they either did not answer their phones or put my husband on hold for over 20 minutes. We still have more furniture to buy and while we love their furniture we will not be returning.
