The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. I recommend it. Check it out for all your t-shirt and sweatshirt needs!

There's a nice balance of kitsch and class, as every item seems uniquely fit for the store. From goofy pins for your little sister to etched martini glasses for your aunt, from affordable to slightly more expensive, the store truly has something for everyone. Except maybe men. Regardless, I love the store, I always find a great gift for whoever I'm looking for and, more often than not, end up walking out with something for myself as well. Anyhow, great selection of candies but the staff can be a little harsh, not personable and more so with people of color. The vibe is off most times and store doesn't seem inviting.
