The lady said there's a wawa across the street. I asked if it was walking distance and she said yes. It was SO hard to walk to! You have to cross twice at very busy intersections and wait a very long time to do so. I finally get there and they have no public restroom!!! I went into a diner next door who were SO nice and let me use theirs. I go back, tell the lady to please not send anyone else there, and go to pay for my stuff and am told they only take cash. Don't get me wrong, I love to pay cash and mostly do, but happened to not have any this day. So, back to wawa I went, this time in my car, to use the atm, with about 10 minutes to do so, because they close at 3!!! Phew! What an adventure just to thrift! I did get a few really good finds tho. There is a back room where they have things with pink tags for half off I believe. Also, many of their prices have a markdown by date tag on them. Meaning, if this item doesn't sell by October 9th, it's 25% off. If it doesn't sell by November 9th, it's 50% off. I've never seen this tactic before and I think it's a pretty efficient one. Something that's above my budget would cause me to keep coming back to see if the item sold. In my top 3 thrift shops to go to for sure. You find genuine vintage items here you wouldn't anywhere else.
