It's a nifty spot with all kinds of cool trinkets, glassware, and chotskies. Some cool stuff here. A mix of estate merchandise and items of all kinds, including musical motion clocks, flickering light canvas pictures, antique looking colored glassware, statues, jewelry boxes shaped like animals, religious items, small furniture pieces, ornate picture frames, stuffed animals, and many other fanciful artifacts. Definitely worth checking out if looking to buy a present for mom or grandma. Pleasant service and reasonable prices too.

Historic Smithville & Village Greene

I spent 4 days in the Village -midweek-during June 2026. Lots of fun shopping. Plenty of gifty…read moretype shops, but also some specialty shops like a cooking gadget shop, a store selling lovely things from Ireland, a shop selling things from Italy and a Christmas shop open all year long. Prices are what you'd expect from a tourist location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to get food and beverages. Definitely worth the trip, but I understand it's absolutely packed on weekends. I have some mobility issues, but there are plenty of places to sit. I think most of the grounds are accessible for a wheelchair or baby carriage, but the ground is a bit uneven in places so you need to be careful. One thing to note is that most shops are not really wheelchair accessible, nor can they accommodate a stroller, although some have ramps. The shops are quite full of merchandise, so it would be hard to move around with a wheelchair or stroller.

This location also has a bed-and-breakfast which I thought was neat. There was also plenty of parking. I made two purchases, one was from LEH Soap and I got a room spray. Then I went into this candy shop called Sweet things and got some delicious chocolate covered pretzels as well as chocolate covered rice crispy treats. If you like to spend some of your day in a cute little shopping area I definitely suggest checking out Smithville.

She came up to us after about 5 minutes of looking and told us to "Have a nice day" and gestured us towards the door despite us not being done browsing, it was news to us we were leaving. Walking out, to our backs she passive aggressively mumbled we weren't allowed to take photos under her breath. We turned around and apologized but also asked where the signs were as we didn't see a single one nor was there one on the door. She said they're there and waved us off. Rude, overpriced, and clearly ageist. Will not be returning because of such an inhospitable, rude owner.

The food alone is worth the trip! The giant BBQ turkey leg with mashed potatoes and gravy is a must-try. The ribs are also outstanding. Wash it all down with a refreshing homemade lemonade, and don't leave without grabbing some homemade donuts. One tip: eat first, then spend the rest of the day walking the market to help burn off all those delicious calories! We'll definitely be back.

I was derelict in my Yelping of this institution for far too long. I was here seeking out Amish cottage cheese which I haven't been able to get at the Trenton farmers market for many years. I knew it would be located in the Amish wing but I needed to walk the rest of the building too. I entered that section to find crowds of people everywhere. To view the prepared hot foods would have required standing in a long line just to eventually get close enough to peek at the cases. I found the cottage cheese prepackaged and decided to walk around the rest of the place before returning to make a few purchases. There were so many temptations in the Amish part, pretzels, prepared salad items, donuts, baked goods in general and of course the meats. The rest of Columbus has treasures to be found as well, depending on your outlook. Discount over the counter drugs, health and beauty,craft soda and pickles, clothes of all kinds, shoes, housewares. I could probably go on. Really something for everyone. My stroll took me past a chicken shop that once I caught the smell of its fried goods, I knew I'd be trying on my way back. At the far end where other food stalls are I saw a taqueria that I plan on trying next trip. With a bag full of fried goodness I was no longer concerned about the Amish foods. I grabbed the cottage cheese and walked out with just a bit of regret that I didn't snag a donut or a dozen. I popped into the produce building just to see what was there. Nice looking veggies but most were sold in bulk. Towards the end of this building is a seafood market that I've heard good things about. Now I have more reasons to return. 4.5 stars !

Imagine a completely underwhelming flea market experience, with a large area of empty tables…read moreoccupied by a small handful of people selling their yard sale leftovers. This sums up my trip to the Vineland Flea Market. I came here on a Friday, approximately an hour after they opened, so it was not as if I was arriving while vendors were still setting up. The weather was fine, so that's no excuse for it being so desolate. There are many better flea markets in the area with a much better selection than what I saw. Frankly, a dollar store on its last day of a going-out-of-business sale has a better selection than what I saw here.

When we got there , they gave us very little direction. None of us had ever "cut glass" before, let alone did a project like this. The girls seemed annoyed every time we asked a question. And when they answered, they answered with attitude. I guess the one girl was tired of our questions, so she threw her hands up, said "I'm done!" and walked out of the room. This was a quiet, rainy afternoon in October, no need for the rudeness. Glass shards were all over the table so my one friend asked if she could have a paper towel to clean up. We were told they don't have any, and if we want one we could go to the bathroom. WHAT?? A craft place with no paper towels? I doubt it! Never again, save your money.
