It looked like someone shoved a bunch of stems down into a clear vase with no thought of making an arrangement. There was a flat side that had no blossoms. The flowers were only two colors, a dark reddish-orange and pale pink, ugly together. Saving grace was a stem of lilies that were nice when they opened up. Of course, I graciously thanked my boy when he called, but did not tell him how disappointing they were. This is the first time for this florist and hopefully the last.

The owner, Melinda, is able to help you every step of the way from picking good colors to technique and more. And not only that, if you finish painting you can take your creation home on the very same day. I created a beautiful outdoor thermometer in just one day (about 4 hours) with a quality I didn't know I had in me. And it was a tough choice because there were so many cool options for what you could paint, including holiday decorations for Christmas and Halloween. I've been to a lot of art studios for candle making, pottery spinning, ceramics painting, etc and nowhere else can come close to this because you get little to no instruction from the workers at the studio whereas here you are taught techniques as you are ready for them. I have nothing but good words to say about this studio. Not only that, but all the people that attend the classes are so friendly and love to have a good time and there are lots of regulars that know each other so it's just an overall great social atmosphere. I wish I lived closer because I'd love to come more often. Also the price is right for the experience and wonderful handmade customized product you get to take home.
