They have a small selection of refurbished furniture and few piece of really funky art. I have a feeling that they would restore your own piece if you brought it in. This stuff was not my taste and seemingly overpriced. I suppose that restoring something by hand does take time and skill but I would not pay north of $500 for a restored dresser or bookshelf. They also had some dinnerware and gifts that were equally funky but more more reasonably priced. This would be a great place to get an uncommon gift for a friend or to find your next conversation piece. They are right in town, although off of Asbury Ave. It's a quick walk so definitely stop in to have a look!

My sister found a notebook that she liked and carried it around while considering it. She placed it back on a table when she decided against it when realizing it was faux leather for over $32.00. As we left the store, she was approached by the owner, and questioned if she was buying it. When she said no, that she put it back, he accused her of stealing it (while not carrying a handbag and wearing tight clothing, that there is no where she could conceal it). I was carrying a tiny crossbody, shorts and tank top. We are horrified by his demeanor and do not ever plan to return. I am furious and embarrassed that my sister was treated so poorly, while in my presence at a store I encouraged us to visit. Read the room, buddy. We are upstanding citizens from a good family....in our late 50's, early 60's respectively. You just shot yourself in the foot, as I have been warning my neighbors and friends to stay clear of this place. Do better!

It's like stepping into a time machine when you see all the retro goodness inside! If you're a longtime collector, you'll appreciate all the rarities found here. The owners are very nice and really knowledgeable when it comes to these collectibles. Each section of the store is devoted to a particular fandom, whether it's a wall of vintage Star Wars figures from Kenner, or a glass case full of G1 Transformers. All the while, they're usually playing a geeky movie in the background too! Always double check the hours and refer to their social media in case something comes up. It's not a big corporate chain store, but that's a good thing when it comes to collectibles. Though it's a little in the middle of nowhere, it's worth the trip!

What a GREAT shop…read more.. The Golden Feather is (what I consider) a boutique shop. There is plenty to see, and is the PERFECT place to shop for gifts. They even have gift cards! What I love the most about the Golden Feather is that everything is unique - it all comes from local artists. They have jewelry, pottery, scarves, artwork, tons of cute things for babies, and lots more... When you walk in, you'll see lots of tables and shelves, with merchandise all over the place! On the walls, on the floors... It's a great at-home feeling, not the sterile shopping experience you get at a department store. There is a lot to see here, so take your time! The prices range - some items are higher than others, but again, keep in mind that the items are handmade... And you are paying for quality. They always have clearance shelves also, I just got something today marked as $60 for 50% off! My mother swears by this place - whenever she has to go to a baby shower/house warming, she comes here for all of her gifts. They have great gift baskets, and they will gift wrap for free. They put your merchandise in a beautiful bag with tissue paper and a peacock feather... Very nice touch. There is a parking lot outside with plenty of parking, and is right off of Rt. 30, so it is super easy to get to. The staff have always been cordial and will help you out with any questions you have. It's a nifty spot with all kinds of cool trinkets, glassware, and chotskies. Some cool stuff here. A mix of estate merchandise and items of all kinds, including musical motion clocks, flickering light canvas pictures, antique looking colored glassware, statues, jewelry boxes shaped like animals, religious items, small furniture pieces, ornate picture frames, stuffed animals, and many other fanciful artifacts. Definitely worth checking out if looking to buy a present for mom or grandma. Pleasant service and reasonable prices too.
