My wife and I came in to get her glasses taken care of and were honestly impressed with how smooth the whole experience was. The line looked long at first, but they had a QR code check-in system that made everything easier. We scanned the QR code with our phone, saw how long the wait would be, and got a text when it was her turn. It was great not having to just sit there--we were able to get some shopping done while we waited. Super convenient and way more efficient than we expected. Easy parking. I was visiting from out of town and forgot my underwear. I was able quickly locate a 6 pack and a Starbucks Frappuccino and check out in a matter of 5 minutes. read more

I don't understand why this Walmart has such low marks. It's well stocked, definitely structured to support both regular shoppers and those who just need a few grab-and-go things before hitting the beach for the day. Walmarts lake Jackson curbside is sad experience . The Young man came out and raised his voice ( Where you want this stuff ! ? ) We said in the back seat. He threw it in then slammed the door . We thought he might just be having a bad day so we thought we'll will give him a tip and that might cheer him up , Wrong ! We gave him a tip , then he said wow ! Surprisingly it was CLEAN, must be brand new.. but wasn't there to stock up. Just to grab n go. So this is only for my experience and what I came for... but everything else I'd say a pretty good selection and well stocked... And they got a fuel station too with an option for nationwide.10¢ off per gallon.. First my shout out that needs to be said.. LETS GO BRANDON!!!! OH AND... was waiting for the famous Walmart shoppers that make tik tok videos awesome- but didn't see any- bummer Soda here sucks.. Plenty of Coke which is the KING of soda, cuz Pepsi sucks... But I went for drinks for everyone... while Orange Crush is awesome, why not stick Grape and Strawberry Crush, you know a variety??? I went to Sporting Goods Dept to purchase some items. Low on stock on Frog Toggs, as I picked up the last one. Most of the time there isn't a clerk in the Sporting Goods Dept, but it was my luck day! Well, she couldn't find her keys, so not so lucky after all. Later, I went to Customer Service for a return. Only one clerk in the Customer Service dept, and 7 people in line. Of the times I go here its mostly well stocked and zoned. Linda the manager always nice when I see her. Of the times I've gone here recently I haven't had any complaints about lines. Surprisingly I've been able to get in and out. The self checkout line help with that too. My biggest gripe is returns without a receipt. I frequently show at Lowes and Home Depot and never have a problem getting a store credit but ever time I go to Wal-Mart, it can't be more than $25 and the customer service cashier changes her demeanor like she thinks you've been stealing, even when I'm in my work polo and nice slacks... read more

I was the only person in line to get an oil change I was told at the counter it would be 30 minutes. I came back about 25 minutes later just to see the statues and discovered my car still hadn't been pulled in. The guy was just barely getting the keys from the lady at the counter. I had to wait another 45 minutes after that to get my car! Not happy I should have just taken my keys back when I saw they hadn't pulled it in after 25 minutes! read more

The only reason I gave one star because I can't post without one!! I made it a point to call the Walmart Automotive Center on my lunch break to make an appointment to have my tires rotated. I was informed that rotations were done on a "first come first serve" basis and they would be there until 7 pm. I arrived at 5:15 pm waited for 15 minutes in line to find out that they weren't doing doing any more tire rotations today as they were working on their last vehicle. So much for no appointment needed and were here until 7. That's the last time I will try to get anything done at Walmart Lake Jackson. I will not spend another dime there. read more

Worst shopping experience Inhave ever witnessed in 81 years ! Only 1 checker in garden dept.Tried to use Walmart gift card to no avail. Twenty minutes the checker punched every button on her computer, called for customer dept. manager....Good luck!! No one ever came,so she said she did not know what else to do that I must go to customer service across the store from where we were.I declined as I am a heart patient,and cannot walk that far!!!i I suggested that she do her job and go there herself to see what it was that she evidently did not comprehend .Last note, I paid cash and do not intend to shop there again!! read more

It is nice to have a Wal-Mart in Lake Jackson. This Wal-Mart is pretty standard. I like to buy personal items here rather than food. For fresh food, I would prefer to go to Krogers. On Monday, February 1st, I stopped by the Walmart gas station to turn in a Powerball ticket I had bought during that last frenzy because I thought it was worth 4 dollars. Turns out it was worth 8. I don't usually play Powerball and was going to just roll the money into a Lotto ticket. The clerk convinced me I should put two bucks with it for an even 10 so I did. I put the ticket in my wallet and didn't think about it again until I pulled it out this morning to check the numbers against last night's drawing. That's when I saw that the ticket had been printed Saturday the 30th and was for the Saturday drawing. I guess she had that ticket laying there, maybe someone had brought it to see if it was worth something, and she figured she could make a quick 10 bucks. Be smarter than me if you go there and check the dates on your tickets. read more
