With coupon it rang up to just shy of $50 dollars. My issue is with the company itself. They don't have much compassion for the customer. Constantly denying coverage on certain medications or dropping one medication just to replace it with another if they replace it at all!!. This happens quite frequently. Claiming to know more than my Doctor by denying me the medication I need. I can't afford full price on most medications. The CVS in Target on 332 is quite helpful and worked extra hard to get my prescription filled for me due to a shortage. But, no coupon was used so I had to pay a big chunk. Next time I will ask for a discount/coupon and see if one is available.

I recently tested positive for strep throat and used the drive-through to avoid entering the store, as I am contagious and still experiencing a fever. My prescription was called in at 9:00 a.m., and when I arrived around 10:30 a.m., I was told the wait would be two hours. I respectfully asked if my prescription could be prioritized due to my condition. The pharmacist responded in a rude and dismissive manner, questioned why I would complain about the delay, and abruptly ended the interaction but said I would receive a text when ready. I was not asking for special treatment--only professionalism and basic courtesy. The lack of empathy and respect was disappointing.

I would always get the same type of individuals that would make you wait at the counter with out even greeting you or that would give me some excuse or problem. I would be told that the prescription is not filled yet and I could come back later or wait 45 minutes. On the worst of visits, I would get the individual that didn't know the answer to my question and just make something up. Luckily, I switched my primary care doctor and she asked if I minded using Eckerds Pharmacy. She told me that I could get in and out with no issues. She was 100% correct about Eckerds Pharmacy. I went there the first time and AJ the Pharmacist greeted me and asked my name with a smile on his face. He got me my prescription and made small talk while I was waiting. Within a few minutes I recieved my prescription and I was walking out, just to hear him say, have a nice day. The next time I came in to pick up my prescription, AJ greated me by name and asked how he could help. I told him that my doctor just sent in the prescription and that I stopped by just to check how long it would take. He told me that it just was sent through but he could get it for me in a few minutes. AJ was a man of his word. A few minutes later, I was walking out of the door with my prescription as he told me to have a nice day. Since that visit, I have moved all of my prescriptions to Eckerds Pharmacy. The best thing about Eckerds Pharmacy is that I have not met anybody that has negative feedback when I mention Eckerds. The comments that I hear are always positive or that they did not know it was there. These conversations would then slide to how upset they were with their current pharmacy followed by a negative story. Before writing this review, I looked at other reviews on Facebook for Eckerds Pharmacy and they are all 5 Star reviews. Each review discusses how satisfied with the care that they received. They all talk about how friendly that AJ and his staff are. Although the most common trend is how happy they are that he is here and that he chose Lake Jackson for the location of his pharmacy. They are also very active on Facebook, which they use to post about medical issues and sites to stay up to date on illnesses like Covid-19 and the flu. They also post about CBD products that they sell at his location. I know that most individuals do not know much about CBD but AJ will discuss it with you and give you an information pamphlet to have. He really helps remove the fear of the unknown from the product. So if you are looking to get away from the war stories that always follow CVS or Walgreens, Please look into Eckerds Pharmacy. I promise you will not find a pharmacy that is as fast, friendly and as convenient as there is then Eckerds.

This pharmacy refused to fill narcotics from a doctor they claimed was "out of town"! Mind you the only pain management group in Angleton will not treat this condition. I spoke to the owner and explained this. He seemed as if he had zero care and talked to me like I was a crack head trying to score a high. We scanned the QR code with our phone, saw how long the wait would be, and got a text when it was her turn.
